The English word love can have a variety of related but distinct meanings in different contexts. Often, other languages use multiple words to express some of the different concepts which English relies mainly on love to encapsulate; one example is the plurality of Greek words for "love". Cultural differences in conceptualizing love thus make it doubly difficult to establish any universal definition. Although the nature or essence of love is a subject of frequent debate, different aspects of the word can be clarified by determining what “love” isn’t. As a general expression of positive sentiment (a stronger form of like), love is commonly contrasted with hate (or neutral apathy); as a less sexual and more emotionally intimate form of romantic attachment, love is commonly contrasted with lust; and as an interpersonal relationship with romantic overtones, love is commonly contrasted with friendship, though other definitions of the word love may be applied to close friendships in certain contexts. When discussed in the abstract, love usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience felt by a person for another person. Loves often involves caring for or identifying with a person or thing, including oneself .In addition to cross-cultural differences in understanding love, ideas about love have also changed greatly over time. Some historians date modern conceptions of romantic love to courtly Europe during or after the middle Ages, though the prior existence of romantic attachments is attested by ancient love poetry.Because of the complex and abstract nature of love, discourse on love is commonly reduced to a thought-terminating cliché, and there are a number of common proverbs regarding love, from Virgil's "Love conquers all" to The Beatles' "All you need is love". Bertrand Russell describes love as a condition of "absolute value", as opposed to relative value. Theologian Thomas Jay Odor said that to love is to "act intentionally, in sympathetic response to others, to promote overall well-being".

All of us know what it is to feel stressed at one time or another. In fact, according to the American Psychological Association, 43 percent of all adults suffer adverse health effects from stress. Furthermore, 75 to 90 percent of visits to a doctor are for stress-related complaints. Stress takes a toll on our lives, our jobs, our health, and our relationships.

The symptoms of stress vary from individual to individual. People suffering from stress may lose their appetite, experience disrupted sleep, or have such physical symptoms as an upset stomach, excessive sweating, diarrhea, heart palpitations, or lowered energy. Psychological symptoms might include feeling anxious, depressed or worried.

Stress puts us in a position of being responsible to accomplish more than we're able to. When we feel stressed we're unable to do the things which give us pleasure because we're too busy dealing with all we are faced with. Stress may also affect relationships with others who may assume that the person under stress is angry with them.

What causes stress differs from person to person. Each of us has different weaknesses or vulnerabilities and differing comfort levels. One person might look forward to Thanksgiving with anticipation as one of the few times the family gets together. Another might dread the holiday because the holiday brings back unpleasant memories. For that individual, Thanksgiving becomes a cause of stress. Some of us thrive on busy schedules, moving easily from one demanding activity to another. Such an individual's stress level may be much higher than that of the person who can comfortably handle just one decision or activity at a time.

There is also often a difference in handling short-term stress in contrast to anticipating long-term or prolonged stress. We can be pretty sure that short-term stress is going to end soon. Experienced teachers, for example, know that the first week or two of school is particularly stressful and manage to cope with the difficulties of crying children, missing books, and room changes with equanimity because they've learned things will eventually settle down. But a teacher given an auditorium used by other groups throughout the day for a classroom, may feel overwhelmed because there is no relief in sight.

Relaxation exercises, visual imagery, deep breathing, and biofeedback are techniques which can be utilized to reduce stress. It also helps to prioritize responsibilities and avoid taking on more than one can handle comfortably. Although stress may be an inevitable part of life, handling it appropriately can reduce its impact on our lives.

As for me,this article is really useful for us as a student. This is because as a student we usually get stress easily. Therefore, this article can help bit for those who are under a stress as there are a few step on how to cop with the stress.

Good day,
I had just read an article about laughter. Have you all wonder why people laughs?? Here is some of the information that i received.

Laughter is an audible expression, or appearance of merriment or happiness, or an inward feeling of joy and pleasure (laughing on the inside). It may ensue (as a physiological reaction) from jokes, tickling, and other stimuli. Inhaling nitrous oxide can also induce laughter; other drugs, such as cannabis, can also induce episodes of strong laughter. Strong laughter can sometimes bring an onset of tears or even moderate muscular pain.

Laughter is a part of human behaviour regulated by the brain. It helps humans clarify their intentions in social interaction and provides an emotional context to conversations. Laughter is used as a signal for being part of a group — it signals acceptance and positive interactions with others. Laughter is sometimes seemingly contagious, and the laughter of one person can itself provoke laughter from others as a positive feedback. This may account in part for the popularity of laugh tracks in situation comedy television shows.

People says that laughter is the best medicine. I do agree on that because when u laugh u can really cheer yourself up. All the worries will suddenly dissapear. So, do not be shy to laugh. Just laugh out laud. (^_^)

Well, this is something about Depression i read from an article few days ago.

Depression is one of the most common psychological problems, affecting nearly everyone through either personal experience or through depression in a family member.

Depression can interfere with normal functioning, and frequently causes problems with work, social and family adjustment. It causes pain and suffering not only to those who have a disorder, but also to those who care about them. Serious depression can destroy family life as well as the life of the depressed person.

Impact of depression could be :
-Causes tremendous emotional pain
-Disrupts the lives of millions of people
-Adversely affects the lives of families and friends
-Reduces work productivity and absenteeism

As we know, whoever got sick should seek for doctor`s treament. But there are nearly 2/3 of depressed people do not get proper treatment. Why is that?

-The symptoms are not recognized as depression.
-Depressed people are seen as weak or lazy.
-Social stigma causes people to avoid needed treatment.
-The symptoms are so disabling that the people affected cannot reach out for help.
-Many symptoms are misdiagnosed as physical problems
-Individual symptoms are treated, rather than the underlying cause.

Clinical depression is a very common psychological problem, and most people never seek proper treatment, or seek treatment but they are misdiagnosed with physical illness.

This is extremely unfortunate because, with proper treatment, nearly 80% of those with depression can make significant improvement in their mood and life adjustment.

Mr Faris XY(C15)

Assalamualaikum, and have a nice day to my teacher and fellow friend.Recently I have been read about an article on how to be an expert archer in easy step.As archery exco in extreme club in UMP,i would like to share to you all what I have read.It is said that to be a good archer the most important thing you need to do is be consistent. For the beginners in archery sports, there are ten steps you must follow.

Firstly is stance..

Stand up when you shoot.Address the target, stand as if you were about to shoot and dependingon what works better for you keeping both eyes open and looking all the time at the target and not nota at the bow at all..Please don't move you have shot all your arrows.

Secondly is body position
This should be comfortable and vertical. You shouldn't need to lean back or forward, left or right, or twist in any direction when shooting, the less tension you have in your body during shooting the better.

Third is Bow Arm
this is the arm which holds the bow out in front of you.Don't let the shoulder ride up in front of you,and don't lock the arm out, these will cause the string wii hit your arm,its hurt. The bow arm should be SLIGHTLY bent, this stops you shaking the bow to peices, stops the string hitting your arm and keeps the shoulder relaxed and low. Gary will probably tell you to "turn it over" at some point.

Forth is Bow HandThe hand that holds the bow. The handle of the bow should sit in the middle of your hand, the centre of the bow being halfway between the thumb and first finger and the handle pulling into the palm of the hand. Don't hold the bow with your thumb, it's not strong enough, pull into the palm and thus down the arm, which is much stronger and more stable. Keep the bow hand relaxed, this stops you gripping the bow, which twists it, therefore causing the arrow to go where it wasn't pointed and also stops you shaking the bow as much. A relaxed bow hand will cause the bow to 'sit' in your hand easily, the handles are actually designed around the archer. Drawing pins on the handle provide an immediate remedy for grippers and snatchers.

Fifth is String Arm
The arm which pulls the string back. When drawing, get your elbow to go past your face, this allows you to use your shoulder and back muscles to draw, which are far stronger than your biceps. When fully drawn, the elbow should ideally point backwards and be level with the arrow. If it's not, don't worry, as long as you're holding the arrow with your back, but not your arm, then it's OK. However, if the elbow does get really high, then it might be worthwhile bringing it back down a bit, it'll be affecting where the arrow goes more than it ought to.

Sixth is String Hand
The hand which holds the string. You will be told to have one finger above the arrow, two below it. Hold the string with the first joint of your main 3 fingers so the hand is curled towards your face. Get the thumb and little finger out of the way. You should be wearing a finger-tab to draw the bow, if not, you'll find it harder to draw and release.

Seventh is Anchor Points
Where you hold the string. When fully drawn, if you're holding the string in the same place, that's good, it's also almost unavoidable. WHERE you hold the string is more important. Make sure that the string touches things that you know will be in the same place every shot, the most useful ones are on your face. Sounds fun doesn't it? But if the string touches the front of your face and then goes away from it, then it can't hurt you can it? Use your String hand to good effect, put it tight against the bottom of your chin, so you can't move it up or down. Next, put the string on the end of your nose, or one side of it, now you can't go left or right, and the fact that your head isn't moving shot to shot (make sure!) means you are now locked in place in 3 dimensions. Are there any more? No. Definitely not. Don't listen to those crazy quantum lecturers! As you progress in the sport, you may want to alter this to suit you; you can.

Eigth is Sighting
What we're all interested in, seeing the target. Your bow ought (and if it doesn't, then you're shooting barebow) to have a sight, don't worry where it is right now. Once you've drawn and anchored, you'll probably close your left eye if you're right handed, and vice versa for lefties. I'm wierd, and don't close any eyes, so just do what feels natural, making sure the same eye is looking though the sight each time. Centre the sight on the middle of the target, either with pin, cross-hair or just putting a circle on a circle. If you can't hold it steady, don't worry, centre it as best you can.

Ninth is Releasing
The money shot. This is where it can all go wrong, a bad release can mean everything we've worked up to so far is meaningless. Once you're lined up, fully drawn and ready, you can release. You MUST BE READY! If something's not right, then either put the bow down and start again, a good habit to get into, or see if you can fix it. Once you're ready, release, just like that. Let go, don't hold on anymore. It is a release, one shouldn't flick the fingers open, this puts sideways force on the string and sends the arrow in a funny direction. Don't do it. Don't let the string arm collapse on release, because when you let go, the tension in your shoulder and back should cause the string arm to fall backwards, not forwards. If it falls forwards, it's because you're anticipating the release and relaxing too early, this wastes the effort you've put in to get the string back that far and is always inconsistent. Don't do that either!

Lastly is After The Shot
The arrow's on its way, where's it going? You want to find out, so you throw the bow arm to one side or drop it out of the way too soon and look for the arrow. Again, you've anticipated the shot and your reaction has caused the arrow to be adversely affected. If you hear a satisfiying "thump" then that's enough, the bow arm should not have moved from its set position, and you'll find out where the arrows went soon enough when you go and collect them.
If the arrows are in a group, then that's good, if it's nowhere near the centre of the target, it really doesn't matter in the least, sights are there to be moved so that you don't have to.

So,there are all the steps and the ways on how to be beginner in archery sports.Thank you...enjoy this archery!!!!!!

This is something i have read recently on the internet entitled 'characteristics of a liar'.Below are a list of characteristics of a liar that i think most of us have done it before.

A liar talks fast.

A liar's facts change.

A liar hugs himself.

A liar often covers his mouth when he talks.

A liar has a nervous laugh.

A liar doesn't look directly at you.

A liar's pupils are narrow.

A liar stumbles over his words.

A liar will often say, "yes" when he means "no."

A liar clears his throat or sweats when you question him.

A liar often becomes angry when you question him.

A liar will try and put blame on you or someone else.

A liar will lie for convenience sake.

Try this experiment. The next time you're at a restaurant, watch different people as they converse. What is their body language telling you? Apply the above characteristics to determine if you can spot a liar. The more you practice, the better you'll become at it.

This is what i have read today. It is about the smallest organism in the world according to their group.

Smallest insect:
Adult males of the parasitic wasp Dicopomorpha echmepterygis can be as small as 139 μm long; females are 40 percent larger.

Smallest beetle:
Beetles of the tribe Nanosellini are all less than 1 mm long; the smallest include Scydosella musawasensis at 300 μm long, Vitusella fijiensis at 310 μm, and Nanosella at 300 to 400 μm. These are among the tiniest non-parasitic insects.

Smallest amphibian:
At 9.6 to 9.8 millimeters long, the Monte Iberia Eleuth (Eleutherodactylus iberia) and the Brazilian Gold Frog (Brachycephalus didactylus) are tied as the smallest frog, amphibian, or tetrapod.

Smallest reptile:
The Jaragua Sphaero (dwarf gecko) (Sphaerodactylus ariasae), a gecko in the Sphaerodactylus genus, is the world's smallest known reptile species, at 16 mm long. The species was first described in the December 2001 issue of the Caribbean Journal of Science by Pennsylvania State University evolutionary biologist Blair Hedges and University of Puerto Rico biologist Richard Thomas. The dwarf gecko is endangered and lives in Jaragua National Park in the Dominican Republic and on Beata Island (Isla Beata), off the southern coast of Hispaniola in Haiti. The species's binomial name was in honor of Yvonne Arias, the leader of the Dominican environmental group Grupo Jaragua.

Smallest bird:
The bee hummingbird (Mellisuga helenae) is the world's smallest known bird species and the smallest known warm-blooded vertebrate. M. helenae, called the zunzún in its native habitat on Cuba and the Isle of Youth, has a mass of about 1.8 g, which is lighter than a Canadian or U.S. penny. Said to be "more apt to be mistaken for a bee than a bird," the hummingbird's wings beat 80 times per second and up to 200 times when mating. The bee hummingbird is said to eat half its total body mass and drink eight times its total body mass each day. Its nest is 3 cm across.

Smallest fish:
The smallest known fish (and smallest known vertebrate) are part of the Paedocypris genus of Indonesia, which dwell in peat swamps and can survive extreme drought in part due to their small size (just 7.9 mm long at maturity). Much of their habitat is acid water, with pH as low as 2.9. The members of the genus are thought to be highly endangered.

Male individuals of the species anglerfish Photocorynus spiniceps have been documented to be 6.2-7.3 mm at maturity, and thus claimed to be a smaller species. However, these survive only by sexual parasitism and the female individuals reach the significantly larger size of 50.5 mm.

Smallest mammal:
The endangered Kitti's Hog-nosed Bat (bumblebee bat; Craseonycteris thonglongyai) of Thailand is the smallest mammal, at 30-40 mm in length and 1.5 to 2 g in weight, about the weight of a Canadian or U.S. dime. However, the Etruscan Shrew is the smallest mammal by mass, though it exceeds the Bumblebee Bat in skull size.

Hello..
This is something i have read recently about comics..

Comics is a graphic medium in which images are utilised in order to convey a sequential narrative. It is the sequential nature of the pictures, and the predominance of pictures over words, that distinguish comics from picture books, though there is some overlap between the two media. Most comics combine words with images, often indicating speech in the form of word balloons, but wordless comics, such as The Little King, are not uncommon. Words other than dialog, captions for example, usually expand upon the pictures, but sometimes act in counterpoint.Although historically the form dealt with humorous subject matter, its scope has expanded to encompass the full range of literary genres. Also see: Comic strip and cartoon. Comics are typically seen as a low art, although there are a few exceptions, such as Krazy Kat and Barnaby.

Today’s technology has amazingly affected our daily life, right? From reading news to writing journals and articles, all can be done using computers. The latest version of Microsoft Windows we known in this era is Windows Vista. But, how many years has it been released after years of practicality of Windows XP and Windows XP Professional? As far as I am concerned, it is probably 1 to 2 years compared to those two XPs, which has been released a lot longer than Vista. I have read this article on Yahoo! Tech. “Windows 7: A better Vista?”. Soon, there will be a newer, better improved version of Windows Vista, which is Windows 7. I have been using Windows Vista Home Basic for almost a year now, and I found that this version of operating system is a bit of waste. Why is it a waste? Well, from my experience, it takes some time to start up and shut down the Windows. So, it is a waste of time. In order to prevent this, user must upgrade the computer’s RAM (Random Access Memory) to at least 2GB to improve the computer’s performance, which can be done at the computer stores where the user has to pay for it. As a matter of fact, it is not available for less than RM80++ per 1GB. It is a little expensive, right? Well, with this Windows 7, due to be out next year, is expected to replace this much-maligned Vista. What I am going to say here is that it is quite unsatisfying that users who have been using Vista, that is the latest version of Windows, and soon there will be a new one replacing it. It is rather wasteful that the user has to format their computers and turn to Windows 7 in order to get the better, more convenient Windows.

Hello..
This is something I read recently about mobile phone.

A mobile phone (also known as a wireless phone or cellular phone) is a short-range, electronic device used for mobile voice or data communication over a network of specialised base stations known as cell sites. In addition to the standard voice function of a mobile phone, telephone, current mobile phones may support many additional services, and accessories, such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the Internet, gaming, bluetooth, infrared, camera with video recorder and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video. Most current mobile phones connect to a cellular network of base stations (cell sites), which is in turn interconnected to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) (the exception is satellite phones).

Today I have read about scuba diving..

As we know that almost 70% of the earth surface is covered with water.Breath-hold diving, dangerous though it can be, has been used to collect pearls, sponges and valuable commodities from the sea floor for many generations.Today, scuba diving is accessible to almost anyone with only a modest investment in equipment. Anywhere you want to dive you can usually find a dive shop near-at-hand to rent tanks, go on a guided dive with a master diver, take a chartered boat or just strap on the tanks and swim out from the shore.
There are many kinds of diving that we can participate in. Most divers choose diving "open water" which includes an ocean, sea or lake. Wreck diving is a dive that is specifically targeted at visiting a sunken vessel.
There are specialized dive that called rescue diving for paramedic or rescue operations and is usually attempted only by trained emergency personnel. The Deep diving is a risky, but attemptable, pursuit given the proper training. The Night diving using underwater torches is simply amazing and every certified scuba diving enthusiast should try it at least once. Some scuba divers do not consider rivers to be "open", since the range of movement is limited to the banks of the river, so "river diving" is sometimes considered a separate kind of diving.
I think that all that can I share with all of you..

Assalamualaikum to my beloved teacher and all my friends.Today I also would like to share with you about video game.

Of course all of us like video games. But do you know actually about video game? So, today I will tell you summary about that.

Video game is a game that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a raster display device. However, with the popular use of the term "video game", it now implies any type of display device. The electronic systems used to play video games are known as platforms; examples of these are personal computers and video game consoles. These platforms are broad in range, from large computers to small handheld devices. Specialized video games such as arcade games, while previously common, have gradually declined in use.
The input device normally used to manipulate video games is called a game controller, which varies across platforms. For instance, a dedicated console controller might consist of only a button and a joystick, or feature a dozen buttons and one or more joysticks. Early personal computer based games historically relied on the availability of a keyboard for gameplay, or more commonly, required the user to purchase a separate joystick with at least one button to play. Many modern computer games allow the player to use a keyboard and mouse simultaneously.
Beyond the common element of visual feedback, video games have utilized other systems to provide interaction and information to the player. Chief examples of these are sound reproduction devices, such as speakers and headphones, and an array of haptic peripherals, such as vibration or force feedback.

Hope you can enjoy with the summary about video game...Thank You...

This is something I read recently about anime.Do you know about anime such as Naruto, Bleach and One Piece?

Anime (literally - "Anima", taken from half of "animation") or pronounced "anime" in Japanese, is animation in Japan and considered to be "Japanese animation" in the rest of the world.Anime dates from about 1917.

Anime, in addition to manga (Japanese comics), is extremely popular in Japan and well known throughout the world. Anime itself is considered a form of limited animation. Anime can be released either by television broadcast or released directly to video, in which case it is often called OVA or OAV (Original Animation Video).

Anime can be hand-drawn or computer animated. It is used in television series, films, video, video games, commercials, and internet-based releases, and represents most, if not all, genres of fiction.

I would like to share about one article about heart attact...
A heart attack occurs when blood flow to a section of heart muscle becomes blocked. If the flow of blood isn’t restored quickly, the section of heart muscle becomes damaged from lack of oxygen and begins to die.

Heart attack is a leading killer of both men and women in the United States. But fortunately, today there are excellent treatments for heart attack that can save lives and prevent disabilities. Treatment is most effective when started within 1 hour of the beginning of symptoms. If you think you or someone you’re with is having a heart attack..

Heart attacks occur most often as a result of a condition called coronary artery disease (CAD). In CAD, a fatty material called plaque (plak) builds up over many years on the inside walls of the coronary arteries (the arteries that supply blood and oxygen to your heart). Eventually, an area of plaque can rupture, causing a blood clot to form on the surface of the plaque. If the clot becomes large enough, it can mostly or completely block the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the part of the heart muscle fed by the artery.

During a heart attack, if the blockage in the coronary artery isn’t treated quickly, the heart muscle will begin to die and be replaced by scar tissue. This heart damage may not be obvious, or it may cause severe or long-lasting problems.

Severel problems linked to heart attack can include heart failure and life-threatening arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). Heart failure is a condition in which the heart can’t pump enough blood throughout the body. Ventricular fibrillation is a serious arrhythmia that can cause death if not treated quickly.

I think that all about the heart attack. There are many people could recover from heart attacks if they got help faster. Of the people who die from heart attacks, about half die within an hour of the first symptoms and before they reach the hospital.

I have read this article long time ago. Now, I just want to share with all my friend about migrain. As we know, our final examination is just around the corner. So, most of us have feel the pressure. Thus, there are people whose will attacked by migrain. What is migrain all about? So,lets check it out.

Migraine headaches usually come at intervals, with complete freedom from pain between attacks. They can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. The pain is severe and can be incapacitating. For many people, the headache is preceded by feelings of depression and irritability, as well as increased sensitivity to light and noise. A classic migraine is preceded by a characteristic "aura," during which the person feels lightheaded, has a reduced field of vision, and may see flashing lights. The headaches usually starts on one side of the head, (the word migraine is derived from the Greek for "half a skull") and is accompanied by nausea, abdominal discomfort, and sometimes vomiting.

Nearly 20 percent of all women and 10 percent of all men suffer from migraines, and most of them have a family history of the disorder. Some people may have daily attacks, others one every several months. The intensity and duration of the attacks may vary from one time to another. Though the symptoms vary, migraines always involve an abnormal constriction and swelling of the blood vessels in the head--constriction in the early warning phase, swelling concurrent with the pain.

Inherited instability of the vascular system is one of the causes of migraine. Migraine patients are more prone to fainting when standing up suddenly than other people, and they are also more sensitive than other people to the vasodilatory effects of physical and chemical agents. Blood platelet disorder has also been implicated, with the platelets of migraine sufferers aggregating more readily than normal platelets in response to neurotransmitters such as serotonin and adrenaline, the "stress" hormone. The nervous system itself may also be implicated, as it releases specific neurotransmitters, possibly in response to chronic stress.

Medications used to prevent the onset of migraines have had limited success, and, as do all medications, they have harmful side effects when used over the long range. Medications to reduce the pain can be of some help if taken immediately after the migraine starts. Once the headache takes hold and severe nausea sets in, the stomach shuts down, so oral medications can't be properly absorbed. While biofeedback techniques and acupuncture can give relief for some people, I find that my patients have the most success by learning to recognize the triggers that cause migraine headaches and then avoiding those triggers.

Of course everyone is different: what causes your migraines may be completely different from what causes someone else's.

Top 10 Tips to Stay Energized All Day

by Monique Ryan, MS, RD

1. Start the day right. Yes, that means breakfast. Combine a whole grain with fruit, skim dairy, or soy milk, and even add some lean protein to the mix to sustain energy levels throughout the morning. Cooked oatmeal with yogurt and a banana or Lite Mueslix with soy milk and blueberries are good choices.

2. Have a mid-morning snack. Combine a protein and a carbohydrate. It is fine to be hungry mid-morning, so honor your hunger and give your body fuel when it is asking for it. Try yogurt with a peach, low fat string cheese with an apple, or cottage cheese and grapes.

3. Eat lunch on time. Don't push back lunch until you are ravenous. Instead, eat your mid-day fuel right on time to keep your blood glucose levels nice and steady.

4. Boost your mental energy. Nature's nutrition for the brain are omega-3 fatty acids. Add light tuna or salmon to your lunchtime food choices, in addition to walnuts, tofu, and canola oil. Healthy fat keep you feeling full for a longer period of time, so add small amounts to meals and snacks. Some good choices include avocado and almonds.

5. Start the day with moderate caffeine levels and keep caffeine intake modest. While it does increase mental energy, too much caffeine may lead to energy highs and then lows, and it can interferes with quality sleep.

6. Limit processed foods high in sugar. Avoid the office candy jar, treats, and vending machine whenever possible. Processed foods do not provide sustained energy and can result in low-energy moments during the day.

7. Consume foods high in folate. Higher levels of blood folate have been associated with faster and better thought processing. Good sources include lentils, chickpeas, black beans, asparagus, broccoli, avocado, and orange juice. Also important are vitamins B6, found in bananas and spinach, and B12, found in lean proteins and skim dairy products.

8. Have an afternoon snack. If dinner is late or if you have an evening workout scheduled, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat yogurt provide energizing carbohydrate.

9. Consume complex carbohydrates that contain fiber. The fiber allows the carbohydrates to be released more slowly, providing sustained energy. Opt for whole grain bread, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, and whole grain cereals.

10. Stay hydrated. About two-thirds of our body is water, and dehydration can contribute to reduced energy levels. About 80% of the fluid we consume comes from the fluids we drink, and the other 20% comes from foods. Always drink when you are thirsty, and have water available during the day to hydrate regularly.

As I read the article of Feeling Good at thestar online, I found that happiness can be the best key to a longer life. While reading this article I was whispered by song by Fool's Garden band entitle Lemon Tree. As i remember a part of the song as follow: be happy don't worry.

What is all about happiness? Are the love is one of the happiness that you need to complete your life or wealth life or bombastic career? Which one you prefer to?
Is that the poor people do not exhibit happiness or just the rich people that happy? Complex right?

So, let have a look at the online article. As I can conclude:

1. Happiness does not heal but happiness protects against falling ill.

2. Happiness had impact on longevity (lengthen between 7.5-10years) of human life.

3. Happiness becomes the crux of the element for economists to measure their wealth not just in term of material.

4. Friendship and human community can be used to bolster ones happiness.

5. Freedom. Democracy, effective government institutions and rule of law add the element of happiness to ones.

6. Happiness becomes a new element in quality-of-life-index for measurement growth.

7. Happiness is the best cooking for those who get critical illness such as cancer and others as they counting the days ahead.

Here i would like to share what i got from doing those assignments...it was about what we all have seen on each book published, the ISBN.

The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) evolved from the Standard Book Number (SBN) was previously used in some English speaking countries. An SBN is converted to an ISBN by prepending a digit '0'. It is a system of numerical identification for books, pamphlets, educational kits, microforms, CD-ROM and other digital and electronic publications. The numerical identification system of a book and book-related product is being used for global trade and finding. It is a unique identifier for books, specially intended to be used commercially. Since 1970, ISBN has been internationally recognised as the identification system for the publishing industry and book trade . An ISBN accompanies a monographic publication from its production and onwards throughout the supply and distribution chain. Assigning a unique number to each published title, ISBN provides that title with its own, unduplicated, internationally recognized identifiers, Publishers, booksellers, libraries and others in the book industry use ISBN in order to expedite the handling and retrieval of publications with ease.

Every few months the media seems to dig up a new quality control issue with Chinese products. Many of these are largely just typical media fear factoring, but the recent “melamine in milk” debacle is very real and very wide-spanning.

Actually what are the health effects of melamine consumptions in humans?
from my research that i have done
there are no direct human studies on the effect of melamine data from animal studies can be used to predict adverse health effects. Melamine alone causes bladder stones in animal tests. When combined with cyanuric acid, which may also be present in melamine powder, melamine can form crystals that can give rise to kidney stones.

These small crystals can also block the small tubes in the kidney potentially stopping the production of urine, causing kidney failure and, in some cases, death. Melamine has also been shown to have carcinogenic effects in animals in certain circumstances, but there is insufficient evidence to make a judgment on carcinogenic risk in humans
from the other website i have found that the melamine also cause hundreds of pets died last year after eating tainted pet food? Same stuff. Melamine was mixed with vegetable proteins (rice, wheat and corn gluten) from China and ended up doing a number on our furry friends.
so,nowadays the tainted milk and the milky product from china are prohibited to use as a precaution steps.

Its all about preparation for our final examination.I have read an article on how to manage our study and stress at this crucial time. So,lets check it out.

Here are some study skills tips for final exams to help you do well and stay sane.

>Time management. Plan, plan, plan. Before finals begin, get out your calendar and schedule as much of your finals week as possible. Then stick with the schedule.
>Schedule in study breaks. Don't plan to study non-stop for the next five days. You'll go insane, and you'll be too fried to do well on the exams. When you write your schedule, include short study breaks to help you recharge. You'll feel so much better and will be able to concentrate so much more. Here's some suggestions for great study breaks.
>Schedule in sleep. Some people can function well on three hours of sleep a night. Most cannot. You'll do much better during exams if your mental state is good, and sleep is essential for this.
>Exercise. There's no better source for stress relief. Just don't overdo it to the point that you're procrastinating heavily. Go for short, stress-relieving activities, like racquetball or a treadmill run. And don't underestimate the value of a brisk walk.
>Prioritize. You have limited time to study and will have to choose what to spend the most time with. You could spend hours and hours on that math exam because if you do really well, you might be able to pull of a C. Or you can spend hours and hours on a history exam because if you do well, you've got a good shot at an A. It's up to you.
>Form effective study groups. Just don't waste your time with lousy ones. Here are some tips for effective study groups.
>Free your schedule. As much as possible, eliminate other responsibilities. Work fewer hours. Put off social events. Definitely put off shopping.
>Ask your professor for help. If you're confused about your notes or the readings, go to the resident expert. This works much better if you don't put off studying until the last minute. It's a good idea to read through all of your notes before you start to study, so that you can inquire early about things that confuse you.
>Keep things in perspective. What's the worst thing that can happen if you don't do well on this test? Excessive stress will make you crazy and hurt your performance on tests, so as much as you can, relax. And if you're having serious problems with anxiety during final exams, seek help at your school's counseling center. This is a common problem that schools are well equipped to help you with.

Good luck for your final my friends!

today i would like to talk about computer performance...
Many people ask themselves "why is my computer so slow?" There are many who own computers but are not that computer savvy. So, it is only natural that they are not aware of some of the common problems that can slow down the performance of the computers. With a few simple tips, you will be well on your way to having your computer function at top performance in no time at all. The three top factors that can slow a computer down are Spyware, a cluttered registry and unwanted desktop items.
Spyware is one of the leading causes of a slow computer. These spyware programs are known as malicious programs that attach themselves to the back of your computer, so that its maker can monitor your internet activity. It would definitely help if you could invest in a good anti-spyware program to prevent this from happening. This usually comes with an anti-virus program which scans your system to remove the spyware and all other viruses. Once you have had the software installed, it is advisable for you to scan your computer at least once a week to remove and prevent these unwanted "pests" from affecting your computer and its performance.
Having a cluttered system registry can really slow one's computer down as it is packed with unnecessary registry files. Registry files are very important to a computer as they contain preferences and settings for your computer. However, unwanted files get added into the system's registry each time you add a new software or hardware into your computer. Unfortunately, they will clutter your system's registry even after you remove or delete the software or hardware. This is because they usually remain in your registry long after you remove and delete the programs, and you might not even be aware of its existence. Nonetheless, you can fix this problem by using a registry cleaner software. A registry cleaner scans your computer and removes these unnecessary registry files. When a scan is done, it will generate a list of unneeded registry files for you to delete. This will help your computer run smoother and faster when you run applications and other programs the next time. A registry cleaner can thus help optimize your computer and improve its overall performance.
The last cause of a slow running computer can be found on your desktop. Many find that they love the convenience of having shortcuts on their desktops as well as high-resolution wallpaper and animated cursors. Unfortunately, all of these things can slow down your computer as it uses up valuable system resources. It is better to shut these items off and not use them when you are working on the computer. This will free up some memory space in your computer, letting it run more smoothly and efficiently
If you want your computer to work at its best, it is important that you take the necessary steps to reduce the occurrence of these problems. By cluttering up your registry, leaving spyware embedded in your computer and cluttering up your desktop, you can greatly affect the overall performance of your computer. So avoid them and carefully tend to these three factors to help your computer run like new again.

Our Rivers...

Rivers are important to humans because they supply fresh drinking water, serve as home for important fisheries, provide transportation routes, and are the source for irrigation water and hydroelectric power. Humans have used rivers since the beginning of civilization. In Asia, people have revered the life-giving importance of rivers for thousands of years. Many ancient temples are located near streams and rivers that needed protection to ensure high-quality water for society. The Chinese written characters for the word politics express the sense of responsibility for waterways—the literal interpretation of the characters includes the meaning of “protection of water.” Many of the ancient, legendary leaders in China were respected because of their ability to control water so that fields could be irrigated and floods prevented. The first great African civilization began along the banks of the Nile around 5000 bc. The agricultural wealth along the valley of the Nile River gave the pharaohs in ancient Egypt their power. Many pyramids and shrines stood along the banks of the Nile.

Other important aspects of rivers are the ecological characteristics of river channels and floodplains. These areas provide a zone between land and water environments. Floodplains and channels are diverse habitats that support the world’s largest wetlands, which are home to innumerable species of plants and animals. Most of the fish that live in rivers use the channel and floodplain, and in some rivers, the deltas and estuaries, during their life cycle.

Taking excellent lecture notes is an essential skill. Unfortunately, high schools often do not prepare students properly for taking notes in a college classroom environment. This can be a serious disadvantage, as effective notetaking is just as important as learning how to write a term paper or take an exam. And if you go to a big university, taking good notes is especially important because you're going to have to take large lecture hall classes.

Here are some notetaking survival tips for students.

1) Active listening. "Passive" listening is what you do when you watch a sitcom or have a casual conversation. In contrast, active listening is when you listen carefully to make sure you understand and learn the information that is being conveyed. Here are some things you should do to listen actively.

Listen for the main point and major subpoints. Don't just write everything down. Listen carefully and make sure you understand what the purpose of this lecture is. As you take down notes, keep the main point in mind and make sure you understand how these notes are related.
Listen for an organizational structure. Unless the teacher is a terrible lecturer, his or her notes are probably organized into some kind of outline. Listen carefully to figure out how the ideas are organized and they will make more sense. Of course, if your professor provides an outline by writing on the board or using PowerPoint notes, take advantage of this.
Pay attention to organizational cues. Listen carefully for words and phrases that reflect the organizational structure of the lecture. Pay close attention to the introduction, as it will probably indicate how you should organize your notes. If the lecture begins with, "Today I'm going to talk about three ethnic conflicts in the Middle East," then you have a good idea of what's going to follow. Listen for "signpost" words to indicate a transition for one point to the next, such as "next" and "finally" and numerical signposts like "first" or "third."
Listen with your eyes. Speakers communicate information through nonverbal communication. Watch the professor, and be aware of how he or she uses hand gestures, eye contact, and other body language to convey points.
Remove distractions. Don't tempt yourself! Put away the campus newspaper, your Sudoku puzzle, your cell phone, and anything else that might be more interesting than the lecturer.
Practice. Learning to concentrate and listen actively is an endurance skill. Make yourself do it, and it will get easier over time.
2) Proper techniques for writing and lecture notes. Learning to write down all the important information in an organized way is a challenge as well. Here are some tips to help you out:

Write down the date and the topic of the lecture. This will help trigger your memory when you are studying.
Learn to write quickly. Or type quickly, if you're using a laptop. Use lots of abbreviations. Don't worry about getting down every word, especially words like "a" and "the." Don't worry about writing neatly. As long as you can understand your notes, it's neat enough.
Write down definitions. If your instructor defines a term, make sure you write it down and understand what it means. .
Don't copy outline or PowerPoint notes word for word. Here's a common problem: a teacher puts a PowerPoint slide up, and students are so busy writing down every word on the slide that they stop listening to the lecture. This causes them to miss information that was discussed in the lecture but not written on the slide, and it also makes active listening impossible. Instead, use the notes to help you follow along.
If your instructor indicates that something is important, mark it. This is a strong clue that something may be on the test.
If your instructor is going too fast or is unclear, say something. Even the best lecturers get a little garbled sometimes. There's nothing rude about asking your teacher to clarify a point.
Err on the side of writing down too much. Excess notes are probably not going to hurt you on the exam. Not writing down enough will.
3) Reviewing your notes. This is very important, but students don't do this nearly enough. Review your notes to make sure you understand all the information and to keep it fresh in your head. Here are some note reviewing tips:

After the class period is over, rewrite or type your notes as soon as you can. This can help quite a bit with retaining the information.
Read over your notes before each class period. This doesn't take very long and helps you contextualize the new information.
As you look over your notes, mark anything that doesn't make sense to you. Stop by the instructor's office hour and ask for clarification, or ask a fellow student to help you out.
Make friends with a studious fellow student. Find someone who goes to class all the time and who takes good notes, and sit down together once in awhile to compare notes with each other. Even if you listen actively and come to class all the time, you're bound to miss a point here and there, so this can help you both out.
Get help if necessary. If you're having problems, show your professor your notes and ask for some guidance. Or stop by your campus study skills center and have someone go over your notes with you.

I hope this tips will help you on how to take an effective notes.

There something that i want to share in this blog. Actually i do like reading comics. I spend a lots of my free time to read comics.
A comic book is a magazine or a book of narrative artwork and, virtually always, dialog and descriptive prose. Despite the term, the subject matter in comic books is not necessarily humorous, in fact, it is often serious and action-oriented.
The term comic arose to describe some of the earliest publications, which reprinted newspaper comic strips, themselves so labeled for originally presenting humor exclusively.

Assalamualaikum everyone...
Here is a list of useful tips on how to improve multitasking performance and overall computer performance on your Windows based PC. Please backup your system before doing changes, to make sure you can get it back working should anything go wrong for you.

this is actually 1 of 3 parts of the tip...the next part will be shown at the next comment..hehe

1. Get a multitasking capable motherboard and CPU. An Intel CPU with HyperThreading would be great, dual core would be awesome, if you can afford something like that. HyperThreading improves multitasking by dividing a single processor into two logical processors so 2 different tasks can be executed at once. Needless to say, dual core improves this much more as there are 2 physical processors and 4 resulting logical processors through using HyperThreading on top of that.
2. Use dual-channel memory modules, and in general use RAM modules as fast as possible for your motherboard.
3. Use modern hard drives like S-ATA hard drives for example. Make sure your hard drive has plenty of cache (8MB would be minimal recommended) and also look for low access times and fast throughput. Use 10,000 RPM drives if possible - or in any case, as fast as possible. Use hard disk fans for such units - they usually heat up a lot so extra cooling is needed to keep them running well.
4. Purchase 2 hard identical drives and place them in Raid 0 mode. This doubles the hard disk transfer speed due to the fact that 2 hard disks are being queried at once. It would be good to also purchase a 3rd spare hard disk of the same model, should one of these ever malfunction, but make sure you use the spare hard disk from time to time, because if you keep it unused for many months it may get defective.
5. Use lots and lots of RAM. 2GB would be recommended (or more if you can), 1GB would be minimal. The more RAM you have, the better your system will perform.
6. Use the FAT32 file system instead of NTFS. This advice may come as a surprise for some readers, yet it has proven very effective in practice. Although FAT32 is simpler and less-featured, it is also more effective for multitasking due to the smaller CPU and disk access requirements that come from this simplicity.
7. Use a dedicated swap partition. Our tests shown that this partition should not be that big. Other sources recommend using a swapfile of 3x the amount of physical RAM memory; we found in practice that using a swapfile of 2x the amount of RAM would perform best in terms of speed. If possible, use the FAT16 file system for the dedicated swap partition; please note that the maximal size of a FAT16 partition is 2 GB. It is recommended to place the operating system on the first partition on the first hard drive, and it is highly recommended (!) to place the swap file partition as the first partition on a second hard drive, if possible - meaning on a separate hard drive than the one where your operating system is installed. This is the configuration that works best in most cases.
8. If you have large amounts of RAM, like 2GB or 4GB for example, you may try disabling the swap file completely. This may significantly improve performance, if your applications fit well inside available physical memory.
9. Optimize your Windows Operating system visual aspect, for speed. In Control Panel - System - Advanced - Performance Settings, select 'Adjust for best performance' and then retain only a few minimal options if you want to improve aspect, like 'Use visual styles on windows and buttons' for example. The Windows XP graphical interface consumes a lot of CPU and results in significantly lowering overall computer performance.
10. Get the fastest video card that you can afford. Read reviews on the internet about them. Some cards and drivers are less stable than others for a given performance level.

Assalamualaikum...

this is the continuous from my previous comment...

11. Periodically defragment your hard drives, especially if you copy and delete a lot of data. From time to time it is good to reformat the hard disk completely; in this case, you would have to backup your files on a different partition, format partition then copy files back after formatting. A fragmentation of 4-5% already means a significant computer speed reduction. Use defragmenting tools like Diskeeper for this purpose.

12. If you are using the FAT32 file system, do not make any partitions exceeding 32 GB. If your hard drive is large and you need a lot of partitions, please note that you can use up to 3 primary partitions (although the common usage is to have just one) and an extended partition, and then within the extended partition you can set any amount of partitions needed, up to the number of available drive letters which is of 26 in total.

13. Use operating systems like Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 which have proven to be indeed faster and more reliable when compared with older Windows 98 or Windows ME operating systems. If needed, upgrade your operating system.

14. Do not mix operating systems like Windows 98 and Windows 2000 - Windows 2003 - Windows XP on a local network. Network transfers between Win 9X and 2k/XP based operating systems are a real pain. Generally, if you are still using Win9X, it would be best to upgrade to a newer operating system.

15. Make sure you have properly configured your computer BIOS. Since BIOS works directly with your motherboard and drivers and preconfigures your system hardware before the operating system is loaded, these settings are vital for your computer performance. You may want to play with CPU caching options, set memory timings to optimal values (test if necessary) and ensure that hard disk controllers are configured for maximal speed. Disable Bios Caching and Video Caching, these are not useful for modern operating systems, they were rather needed for older MS-DOS compatible operating systems like Win9x. Turn off IDE auto detection and set them manually, whenever possible. Also, enable 'fast boot', 'silent boot', 'quick boot' or similar option.

16. Get the latest drivers for your hardware, especially for video and SCSI devices. Visit your website manufacturers and download the latest drivers they have for your hardware. Subscribe to a driver download notification emailing list, if they have one. In general, drivers coming with your Windows Install CD may work but they are usually obsolete. Some newer drivers can be found through Windows Update, but in most cases it is best to download new drivers directly from the manufacturer of your hardware device.

17. Buy only quality, brand hardware. Cheap hardware will never work properly; cheap motherboards and computer cards are unstable, have improperly written drivers and tend to easily get defective. If possible, buy a preconfigured computer of quality brand. Serious manufacturers usually test their components for compatibility and therefore such machines are real stable and have excellent performance for their hardware class.

18. Use Windows Update to keep your computer files updated with the latest versions.

19. Connect different IDE drives using separate IDE cables. Put your primary hard disk on the first interface (IDE 0) and the CD-ROM/DVD unit(s) on the second interface (IDE 1) using a second IDE cable. Having another drive on the same cable can significantly decrease your primary hard disk performance.

20. Use the latest DirectX version as this will improve gaming performance. Needless to say also, the best video card you can get, the best would be your 3D gaming performance. In some cases, you may want to reduce screen color depth to 16-bit (65536 colors), especially on some older video cards - this may improve performance for such video cards, if you can't get a newer card which would however be the best option.

the third part of this useful tips will be display on the next comment...thank you.

21. Make sure you enable DMA transfers on IDE slave drives, which is not enabled by default. Go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager, jump to your IDE controller, and in the 'Primary IDE Channel' - Advanced Settings, configure it to use DMA instead of default PIO (programmatic I/O) modes.

22. Make sure you enable Write caching for SCSI drives - you can do this from Device Manager by going to SCSI devices.

23. Close any application that you do not use. If you cannot close them, at least minimize them as when they run in background mode, they consume less CPU.

24. Disable unneeded programs that auto-run at startup. These can really bog down your system. Use a startup manager program to make your life easier. You can use the built-in startup manager in Windows XP by going to Start - Run, type 'MSCONFIG' and hit Enter.

25. Disable Messengers that you do not use (Windows comes with MSN Messenger by default).

26. Disable all unnecessary services. Depending on configuration, you may want to disable File and Print, FTP, World Wide Web, Routing and Remote Access, IIS Admin Service, Telnet, Smart Card and Smart Card Helper, Terminal Services, Uninterruptible Power Supply. Also make sure you disable Indexing Service, as this usually significantly slows down your system.

27. If there are programs that you do not use, uninstall them - this frees disk space as well as remove some unneeded dll's from memory.

28. Reinstall your operating system from time to time, when you can. Some programs, even if uninstalled, leave unnecessary dll files inside your computer. Since it is difficult to manage them, a fresh reinstall would be a good option.

29. When you have just reinstalled and activated your copy of windows, backup your system on DVD and keep it safe, using a disk backup or disk clone tool. Whenever you may need to have a fresh system you can use the disk to get a fresh installed operating system on your computer. Norton Ghost can be such an useful disk clone program. Some computers come with such tools preinstalled, so use them when you just received your computer to make a backup of the system.

30. Empty temporary files from C:WindowsTEMP, C:Temp folders. Empty Temporary internet files periodically. Use Disk Cleanup to get rid of all this waste on your computer.

31. Reduce the size of your System Restore folders at lower percentages, for example like 8% . You may want to disable System Restore on partitions where they are not needed, where there is no OS stuff or programs installed but just your stored files and data.

32. Remove any unneeded Fonts. Fonts can really bog down your computer. Removing them will save a lot of memory and significantly improve performance.

33. Remove unneeded network protocols like IPX and NetBEUI.
Hopefully, this list will prove useful to readers, in obtaining the most out of their Windows based computer and increasing speed and multitasking performance in all daily operations. Please note that these advices come with no guarantees - you are on your own, and in any case you should better know what you are doing. Good luck - and enjoy your improved computer performance!

today...i would like to say about the most popular habit nowadays...

Quit Smoking

Smoking is cool? Yeah but it is really cool in term of healthy. So, I believe many smokers wanted to quit from smoking activity. But they failed over again because of not enough determination. However, let know about some info before you quit from smoking.
•It takes inspiration. Most smokers know that smoking is bad for them, but that doesn't inspire them to give up. They need external motivation, perhaps quitting for people they love, such as their children or grandchildren. Think about what amazing life events you would miss if your life were cut short by 10 or 15 years. The birth of a grandchild? A grandchild's wedding?

•Your doctor can help. It can take several attempts to stop for good. Studies have shown that involving your doctor improves your chances of success.

•Try nicotine replacement. Nicotine replacement products include gum, patches, lozenges, inhalers and nasal sprays.

•Exercise. Regular exercise can help you to stop smoking by burning off stress hormones - so you feel less of an urge to smoke, and producing feel-good brain chemicals that help to reduce the uncomfortable effects of nicotine withdrawal.
•Avoid bad influences Spending time with smokers makes it harder to quit because of the ever-present temptation. Make yours a non-smoking household from now on.

Assalamualaikum..i just find out that have harmonious relationships is not a mystery. The first meaning of love has to do with how you treat the person you care about. Creating a close, loving relationship is not actually so difficult to understand! How to do it can be learned. In fact, it has to be learned by everyone who knows how to sanctify their relationship rather than pollute it.

Anyone can do it, and there is no need to sit at the feet of a "guru," spend thousands on training workshops, or give up and settle for doing without the love you want.. . .

It all comes down to the simple, basic rules of listening, understanding, and empathizing with what is important to your loved one. Once you understand how treating others in loving ways works, your relationship cannot fail because of you.

The Meaning of Love is based on the proven principles and methods that are currently being used by those couples who succeed in their relationships. The other 55% who fail in their marriages use the methods that poison and destroy their relationships.

Love means caring.Sharing life activities and personal information creates intimacy and emotional connection. Over time, caring grows and your emotional investment in the other deepens, even when all is not "rosy" and pleasurable. We love because we find our emotional match in the other person, that which makes us feel more whole. We have found a "soul mate" and gradually become more and more emotionally and spiritually connected to the other person.

Fear is what gets in the way of caring. But you don't have to suffer in silence.

This article not only to give the learning for those who does not know how to love each other especially their parents.Appreciate them while they still alive.Thank you.

The History Of Penang Bridge
In actual fact, the talk about having a bridge linking to Penang was first mooted out
in 1950s when traffic condition is in deep chaos. During that time, Penang economy
was booming, causing a massive congestion on the Ferry terminal. Ferry’s during
that time was the only mode of transport to connect Penang Island to the Mainland.

Some suggesting extending the ferry’s service, building a tunnel and some come out
with the ideas of a bridge. However the bridge stood out as the firm favorites for
the Penangtes. Many hope that with the bridge, their long battle with endless
jammed will be eliminated thus brings more business & prosperity to the island.

Using the Penang Bridge as manifesto, Dr Lim Chong Eu, former Chief Minister of
Penang swept to a landslide victory in Penang party election in 1950s. After that,
Penang Bridge has become a standing joke of town as nothing materializes. It has
face many obstacle - High construction cost, opposition objection & complication of
building such a massive project.

The dream of having a bridge finally triumph when Dr Mahathir took over as Malaysia
prime minister. He pushed on with the mega scale project despite many objection
and obstacle. His persistency and acute thinking made the reality of Penang having
a bridge comes true.

On 23 July 1981, Work Minister S. Samy Velu announced that the Penang Bridge
would be constructed using the cable-stayed concrete girder of the San Francisco
Golden Gate Bridge instead of the steel-tied arch in the style of the Sydney Harbour
Bridge. This marks the starts of massive construction projects that will be
implemented.
Dr Mahathir sank the first pile in April 1982 to kick off the grand projects and the
dream of having a bridge in Penang finally becomes a reality. There will be no more
u-turn, says a beaming Mr Loh - One of the many Penangtes that supported the
bridge projects from the beginning.

Vegetarianism is the practice of a diet that excludes meat, fish and poultry. There are several variants of the diet, some of which also exclude eggs or some products produced from animal labour such as dairy products and honey.

A vegan diet is a form of vegetarianism which excludes all animal products from the diet, such as meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, eggs and honey. Strict veganism also excludes the use of animal products such as wool, silk, leather, and fur for attire and adornment, even though some of these do not directly involve the death or slaughter of an animal.

Most vegetarians consume dairy products, and many eat eggs. Lacto-vegetarianism includes dairy products but excludes eggs, ovo-vegetarianism includes eggs but not dairy, and lacto-ovo-vegetarianism includes both eggs and dairy products.

Semi-vegetarianism consists of a diet largely of vegetarian foods, but may include fish and sometimes even poultry, as well as dairy products and eggs. The association of semi-vegetarianism with vegetarianism in popular vernacular, particularly pescetarianism, has led to what vegetarian groups cite as improper categorisation of these diets as vegetarian. The Vegetarian Society, which initiated popular usage of the term vegetarian as early as 1847, condemns the association of semi-vegetarian diets as valid vegetarianismthe organisation points out that the consumption of fish is not vegetarian.

The reasons for choosing vegetarianism may be related to morality, religion, culture, ethics, aesthetics, environment, society, economy, politics, taste, or health. A generic term for both vegetarianism and veganism, as well as for similar diets, is "plant-based diets".Properly planned vegetarian diets have been found to satisfy the nutritional needs for all stages of life, and large-scale studies have shown vegetarianism to significantly lower risks of cancer, ischaemic heart disease, and other diseases.

What does a computer programmer do?

A computer programmer designs software programs through building logical work flow charts, the functionality of which is translated into one of several languages that computers can understand. In the majority of cases, the computer programmer also designs a graphical user interface (GUI) so that non-technical users can run the software through easy, point-and-click, menu-oriented modules. The GUI acts as a translator between the user and underlying software code, negating the need to know the command line structure of the language.

Generally, there are five basic stages of development that a computer programmer addresses in designing software. They are defining the need, designing a flowchart, coding the software, debugging and beta testing.

The first stage of development necessitates good interpersonal skills on behalf of the computer programmer who will typically meet with department heads, managers or employees who will relay the tasks to be implemented into the software program. It is up to the programmer to ask the right questions. If he or she misunderstands responses or gets an incomplete understanding of what’s required, the software won’t live up to expectations, resulting in problems that will fall squarely on the shoulders of the programmer.

During the second stage of development the computer programmer uses analytical thinking to logically layout a flow chart. The “if, then” scenario must take into account not only the logical steps that will take data input from one point to another, but also allow for possible problems relative to the specific work model or environment. Contingencies must be built into the design so that potentially unforeseen circumstances are accounted for. This could mean constructing alternate data flows or popup error messages that instruct the user.

When the design is complete the computer programmer converts the functionality of the flow chart into computer code. There are hundreds of programming languages, including C++, Perl, Java, Visual Basic, FORTRAN, Apple Script and D, with most programmers specializing in several families. This stage of software development is commonly done solo, though multiple programmers might work on different aspects of large computer programs.

When the initial software is completed it goes through a debugging stage. Bugs are flaws in the program that cause it to fail, crash, hang, return a false result, or behave in an undesirable fashion. Debugging is a very intense stage of development that can take hundreds of hours. A computer programmer will also try to get the program to fail by using it in ways that are not necessarily typical of the projected real world scenario.

Finally the software undergoes beta testing. At this stage the program is released to use with the understanding that it will require modifications before a stable release can be issued. Searching for bugs in the previous stage cannot take into account the variety of hardware and software environments in which the software will have to perform. Conflicts can arise “in the wild” that are simply impossible to anticipate until beta testing brings them to light.

After a stable release has been issued, the attention turns to improvements. Invariably once software is applied refinements can be made to make it more efficient or easier to use. The computer programmer might also be called upon to expand its functionality to include duties that were not initially part of its design. The programmer will also be responsible for maintaining the program’s health.

Although computer programmers are always in demand, U.S. programmers face competition from outsourcing to countries where labor is cheaper. The U.S. national average wage for a U.S. computer programmer is about $72,280 US Dollars (USD) annually, or $34.75 hourly, though statistics vary and state averages differ. Educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or mathematics. Some employees require a four-year degree and prefer management information systems (MIS) or business degrees.

Did you know the meaning of pink roses?

Today, pink roses are known as symbols for love and gratitude. These pink flowers also carry undertones of elegance, grace, sweetness, and poetic romance. Because the pink rose was more prevalent over other garden-variety roses, it became strongly associated with these positive sentiments. Different shades of pink also carry their own meanings. Light pink roses symbolize admiration, gentleness, and can be used to bring messages of sympathy. Fuchsia-toned roses can mean appreciation and gratitude and are traditionally used to express thanks. As a decorative presence in the corner of a room, the aroma, color, and shape of a bouquet of pink roses can make everything look small and shabby in comparison.

Due to the many ways where they can be used to express a wide range of meanings and emotions, pink is the most popular rose color, second only to red. The symbolic importance as well as the delicate appearance and sweet fragrance associated to all roses are traced back to the oldest of flowers – the pink rose. Although much has changed about it throughout history, pink roses have held a consistent, prominent place in the world of flowers. Today, pink roses have a unique position that represents refinement and elegance while communicating admiration and thanks. Any recipient of a bouquet of pink roses will not only be taken aback by their beauty; that person is sure to feel special and loved.

Hello.

Here more about roses and its color.

The blazing energy of orange roses makes it a truly unique rose among today’s popular flower species. Orange roses come in a wide variety of shades, from soft coral and peach to a bright, vivid sunset shade, bringing to mind passionate thoughts about romance, the sweetness of a citrus fruit, or the warmth of a glowing sunset. It’s no wonder that rose aficionados everywhere quickly found a soft spot for the vibrant orange rose when it was first introduced to the market.

Orange roses never grew in the wild. Rather, they came about at the turn of the 20th century as the spread of hybridization techniques allowed flower cultivators to experiment on improving the scent and appearance of wild yellow roses. Cross-breeding throughout the years eventually produced the vibrant orange rose out of the yellow rose.

Since the color orange is a literal mixture of red and yellow, people often view orange roses as the bridge between the feelings of friendship and platonic love brought about by yellow roses, and intense romantic love associated with red roses. Giving someone a bouquet of blooming orange roses could mean a sign of budding romantic feelings and the desire to take the relationship beyond the level of friendship. Due to the obvious connection between the colors of fire and intense, passionate emotions, orange roses also make appropriate gifts for a current love.

Besides conveying feelings of young love, orange roses can also be given as an expression of fascination or a gift that says, “I’m proud of you.” – perfect for graduations and birthdays. Their dazzling shades efface negative energies and elicit inspiration and enthusiasm, making them the perfect gift for someone going through a rough patch or someone stuck in a hospital room. Try placing a vase filled with these orange flowers in the corner of a room and take note of the change in the atmosphere. Chances are, you will feel the room pulsating with life, energy, and warm feelings where there once was none.

Orange roses are a unique alternative to the traditional red rose if you intend to convey the message of the heat of passion, the flames of love, and burning desire. As a platonic gift, they also work wonders by evoking positive feelings and the warmth of compassion. Show someone that you care for her deeply and that you wish her well by sending a bouquet of blooming orange roses.

Online Games.....

Online games are games played over some form of computer network. At the present, this almost always means the Internet or equivalent technology, but games have always used whatever technology was current modems before the internet, and hard wired terminals before modems. The expansion of online gaming has reflected the overall expansion of computer networks from small local networks to the Internet and the growth of Internet access itself. Online games can range from simple text based games to games incorporating complex graphics and virtual worlds populated by many players simultaneously. Many online games have associated online communities, making online games a form of social activity beyond single player games.

The rising popularity of Flash and Java led to an Internet revolution where websites could utilize streaming video, audio, and a whole new set of user interactivity. When Microsoft began packaging Flash as a pre-installed component of IE, the Internet began to shift from a data/information spectrum to also offer on-demand entertainment. This revolution paved the way for sites to offer games to web surfers. Most online games like World Of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XI and Lineage II charge a monthly fee to subscribe to their services, while games such as Guild Wars offer an alternative no monthly fee scheme. Many other sites relied on advertising revenues from on-site sponsors, while others, like RuneScape, let people play for free while leaving the players the option of paying, unlocking new content for the members.

After the dot-com bubble burst in 2001, many sites solely relying on advertising revenue dollars faced extreme adversity. Despite the decreasing profitability of online gaming websites, some sites have survived the fluctuating ad market by offsetting the advertising revenue loss by using the content as a cross-promotion tool for driving web visitors to other websites that the company owns.

UFO....

An Unidentified Flying Object, or UFO, is the popular term for any aerial phenomenon that cannot immediately be identified. Some definitions, such as the one used by the USAF, define a UFO as an object unable to be identified after scrutiny, while other definitions define an object as being a UFO from the time it is first reported as being unidentified, even though most subsequently become IFOs, Identified Flying Objects.

Reports of unidentified aerial phenomena date back to ancient times, but modern reports and the first official investigations began during World War II with sightings of so-called foo fighters by Allied airplane crews, and in 1946 with widespread sightings of European "ghost rockets". UFO reports became even more common after the first widely publicized United States UFO sighting, by private pilot Kenneth Arnold in mid 1947. Hundreds of thousands of UFO reports have since been made worldwide.

Since its introduction the term has become heavily associated with flying saucers and alien spacecraft, though an object may be classified as a UFO independently of opinion as to its origins. Most military and civilian UFO investigations concluded that the majority of objects can be identified either directly, or by applying Occam's Razor.

Great Wall Of China

First built in the 7th century B.C, rebuilt and maintained between the 6th century BC and the 16th century, the great wall was built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Mongolian attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. The most famous is the wall built between 220–200 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang while little of it remains. Tthe current wall was built during the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall stretches over approximately 6,400 km (4,000 miles)from Shanhaiguan in the east to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia, but stretches to over 6,700 km (4,160 miles) in total. The Great Wall was first built in the 7th century B.C. when China was still divided into many small states.

this story happen at Kuala lumpur on wednesday..CID chief SAC II Ku Chin Wah said the ah long aged between 23-38...

this ah long had abducted 30-years old trader and took away his toyota harrier..

according to what i had read the ah long also had ask a ransom money fron his family RM300,000 to settle the loan that they had borrowed from ah long..

SAC II Ku was achieve to release the traders..and capture 4 ah long members.. Also case that had related to this, is SAC II ku had found the bodies man and women with slash wound at his neck..

the motive of killing maybe about jelously or maybe related to ah long case...

So the conclusion that i can make here, if we dont have money, dont try to borrowed from ah long..in Malaysia there are a lot of bank...also always be careful when we are walk lonely...you can bring safety equipment to ensure your safety and learn self defense..the main idea is think first before doing something, because it can change our life either are you ready or not..

here i like to write about...
how to tell a girl you love her.

from what i read before, there were some points that need to be concern when you(boys) are ready to say that "word" to your love.

1. Straightfoward(just tell her at the appropriate moment)
2. Actually, action really do speak louder than words.
3. Dont take too much time for the action,or you will lose her to some one else...
4. show her that you are interested to do those things together.
5. be honest, and show respect to her...as she will be yours one day,for sure...
6. she should be the first who know about your feeling, not to hear it from your friends or some one else...

hope this will help you in finding your true lover,,,including myself.
thank you.

World War 2........

World War II, or the Second World War, was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the world's nations, including all of the great powers, organized into two opposing military alliances the Allies and the Axis. The war involved the mobilization of over 100 million military personnel, making it the most widespread war in history. In a state of "total war", the major participants placed their complete economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities at the service of the war effort, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. Over 70 million people, the majority of them civilians, were killed, making it the deadliest conflict in human history.

The starting date of the war is generally held to be September 1939 with the German invasion of Poland and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by the United Kingdom, France and the British Dominions. However, as a result of other events, many belligerents entered the war before or after this date, during a period which spanned from 1937 to 1941. Amongst these main events are the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, the start of Operation Barbarossa and the attack on Pearl Harbor and British and Dutch colonies in South East Asia.

The Soviet Union and the United States emerged from the war as the world's leading superpowers. This set the stage for the Cold War, which lasted for the next 45 years. The United Nations was formed in the hope of preventing another such conflict. The self determination spawned by the war accelerated decolonisation movements in Asia and Africa, while Western Europe itself began moving toward integration.

police officer Thailand said the bomber came from group Ronda Kumpulan Kecil..the bombing attack kill 2 people and injured 30 others people including Thai police officer...

In my opinion, this criminal should be captured quickly before he make Malaysia his second place to bomb..Malaysia and Thailand police should cooperate to find the bomber, so Malaysian did not afraid to go anywhere.. The bomber last seen at Sungai Golok,Kota Bharu ,Kelantan..

If miss not familiar with that place miss can refer to student at our section that are from Kelantan..

Word War 1...

World War I was a global war which took place primarily in Europe from 1914 to 1918. Over 40 million casualties resulted, including approximately 20 million military and civilian deaths. Over 60 million European soldiers were mobilized from 1914 to 1918.

The act which is considered to have triggered the succession of events which led to war was the 28 June 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, by Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb citizen of Austria-Hungary and member of the Young Bosnia. The retaliation by Austria-Hungary against the Kingdom of Serbia activated a series of alliances that set off a chain reaction of war declarations. Within a month, much of Europe was in a state of open warfare.

The underlying causes of the war dated back in part to the Unification of Germany and the changing balances of power among the European Great Powers in the early part of the 20th century. These causes included continuing French resentment over the loss of territory to Germany in the 19th century; the growing economic and military competition between Britain and Germany, and the German desire for a "place in the sun" equal to that of the more established countries of Europe.

The war was fought between two major alliances. The Entente Powers initially consisted of France, the United Kingdom, Russia, and their associated empires and dependencies. Numerous other states joined these allies, most notably Italy in April 1915, and the United States in April 1917. The Central Powers, so named because of their central location on the European continent, initially consisted of Germany and Austria-Hungary and their associated empires. The Ottoman Empire joined the Central Powers in October 1914, followed a year later by Bulgaria. By the conclusion of the war, only The Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain and the Scandinavian nations remained officially neutral among the European countries, though several of those may have provided financial and materiel support to one side or the other.

The fighting of the war mostly took place along several fronts that broadly encircled the European continent. The Western Front was marked by a system of trenches, breastworks, and fortifications separated by an area known as no man's land. These fortifications stretched 475 miles and precipitated a style of fighting known as trench warfare. On the Eastern Front, the vastness of the eastern plains and the limited railroad network prevented the stalemate of the Western Front, though the scale of the conflict was just as large. There was heavy fighting on the Balkan Front, the Middle Eastern Front and the Italian Front; there were also hostilities at sea and in the air.

The war was ended by several treaties, most notably the Treaty of Versailles, signed on 28 June 1919, though the Allied powers had an armistice with Germany in place since 11 November 1918. One of the most striking results of the war was a large redrawing of the map of Europe. All of the Central Powers lost territory, and many new nations were created. The German Empire lost its colonial possessions and was saddled with accepting blame for the war, as well as paying punitive reparations for it. The Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires were completely dissolved. Austria-Hungary was carved up into several successor states including Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia, as well as adding Transylvania to the Greater Romania who was allied with the victors. The Ottoman Empire disintegrated, and much of its non-Anatolian territory was awarded as protectorates of various Allied powers, while the remaining Turkish core was reorganised as the Republic of Turkey. The Russian Empire, which had withdrawn from the war in 1917 after the October Revolution, lost much of its western frontier as the newly independent nations of Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland were carved from it, Bessarabia was also re-attached to the Greater Romania as it has been a Romanian territory for more that a thousand years. After the war, the League of Nations was created as an international organization designed to avoid future wars by giving nations a means of solving their differences diplomatically. World War I ended the world order which had existed since the end of the Napoleonic Wars, and was an important factor in the outbreak of World War II.

KFC...

Kentucky Fried Chicken, usually known as KFC, is a chain of fast food restaurants based in Louisville, Kentucky. KFC was a wholly owned subsidiary of Tricon from 1997-2002, and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Yum! Brands since 2002. The chain also advertises itself as Poulet Frit du Kentucky or PFK in the province of Quebec in Canada.

KFC primarily sells chicken in form of pieces, wraps, salads and burgers. While its primary focus is fried chicken KFC also offers a line of roasted chicken products, sides and desserts. Outside of North America, KFC offers beef based products such as burgers or kebabs, pork based products such as ribs and other regional fare. The popularity and novelty of KFC has led to the general formula of the fried chicken fast-food restaurant being copied by restaurant owners worldwide.

The company was founded as Kentucky Fried Chicken by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952, though the idea of KFC's fried chicken actually goes back to 1930. The company adopted the abbreviated form of its name, KFC, in 1991. Starting in April 2007, the company began using its original appellation of Kentucky Fried Chicken again for its signage, packaging and advertisements in the United States as part of a new corporate re-branding program, newer and remodeled restaurants will have the new logo and name while older stores will continue to use the 1980s signage. Additionally, the company continues to use the abbreviation KFC freely in its advertising. Internationally the company is still known as KFC.

Tornado...

A tornado is a violent, rotating column of air which is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. Tornadoes come in many sizes but are typically in the form of a visible condensation funnel, whose narrow end touches the earth and is often encircled by a cloud of debris.

Most tornadoes have wind speeds between 40 mph (64 km/h) and 110 mph (177 km/h), are approximately 250 feet (75 m) across, and travel a few miles (several kilometers) before dissipating. Some attain wind speeds of more than 300 mph (480 km/h), stretch more than a mile (1.6 km) across, and stay on the ground for dozens of miles (more than 100 km).

Although tornadoes have been observed on every continent except Antarctica, most occur in the United States. They also commonly occur in southern Canada, south-central and eastern Asia, east-central South America, Southern Africa, northwestern and southeast Europe, western and southeastern Australia, and New Zealand.

Tropical Cyclone..

A tropical cyclone is a storm system characterized by a low pressure center and numerous thunderstorms that produce strong winds and flooding rain. Tropical cyclones feed on heat released when moist air rises, resulting in condensation of water vapour contained in the moist air. They are fueled by a different heat mechanism than other cyclonic windstorms such as nor'easters, European windstorms, and polar lows, leading to their classification as "warm core" storm systems.

The term "tropical" refers to both geographic origin of these systems, which form almost exclusively in tropical regions of the globe, and their formation in Maritime Tropical air masses. The term "cyclone" refers to such storms' cyclonic nature, with counterclockwise rotation in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise rotation in the Southern Hemisphere. Depending on their location and strength, tropical cyclones are referred to by other names, such as , typhoon, tropical storm, cyclonic storm, tropical depression and simply cyclone.

While tropical cyclones can produce extremely powerful winds and torrential rain, they are also able to produce high waves and damaging storm surge as well as spawning tornadoes. They develop over large bodies of warm water, and lose their strength if they move over land. This is the reason coastal regions can receive significant damage from a tropical cyclone, while inland regions are relatively safe from receiving strong winds. Heavy rains, however, can produce significant flooding inland, and storm surges can produce extensive coastal flooding up to 40 kilometres from the coastline. Although their effects on human populations can be devastating, tropical cyclones can also relieve drought conditions. They also carry heat and energy away from the tropics and transport it toward temperate latitudes, which makes them an important part of the global atmospheric circulation mechanism. As a result, tropical cyclones help to maintain equilibrium in the Earth's troposphere, and to maintain a relatively stable and warm temperature worldwide.

Many tropical cyclones develop when the atmospheric conditions around a weak disturbance in the atmosphere are favorable. Others form when other types of cyclones acquire tropical characteristics. Tropical systems are then moved by steering winds in the troposphere; if the conditions remain favorable, the tropical disturbance intensifies, and can even develop an eye. On the other end of the spectrum, if the conditions around the system deteriorate or the tropical cyclone makes landfall, the system weakens and eventually dissipates. In spite of this, it is not possible to artificially induce the dissipation of these systems with current technology.

Teluk Intan...

Teluk Intan is a town located in the state of Perak in Malaysia. It is the largest town in Hilir Perak district and third largest town in the state of Perak with an estimated population of around 110,000.

In the early days, the town was known as Teluk Mak Intan, after a female Mandailing trader. It was here that the Perak rulers held court from 1528 until Kuala Kangsar became the royal town in 1877.

During the British protectorate era, the named was changed to Teluk Anson (Anson Bay), in honour of a British Officer and last Lieutenant-Governor of Penang, Major-General Sir Archibald Edward Harbord Anson who drew the plan of the modern township in 1882.

In 1982 during the centenary of the town's establishment, the name was changed again to Teluk Intan (Diamond Bay) by the Sultan of Perak. The town has a number of colonial buildings and Chinese shophouses together with modern buildings and a few shopping complexes.

Leaning Tower of Pisa...

The Leaning Tower of Pisa or simply The Tower of Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa. It is situated behind the cathedral and is the third oldest structure in Pisa's Piazza del Duomo after the cathedral and the baptistry.

Although intended to stand vertically, the tower began leaning to the southeast soon after the onset of construction in 1173 due to a poorly laid foundation and loose substrate that has allowed the foundation to shift direction. The tower presently leans to the southwest.

The height of the tower is 55.86 from the ground on the lowest side and 56.70 m on the highest side. The width of the walls at the base is 4.09 m and at the top 2.48 m. Its weight is estimated at 14,500 metric tons (16,000 short tons). The tower has 296 or 294 steps; the seventh floor has two fewer steps on the north-facing staircase. The tower leans at an angle of 3.97 degrees. This means that the top of the tower is 3.9 metres (12 ft 10 in) from where it would stand if the tower were perfectly vertical.

What about the other components of plastic? Are they dangerous too?
More and more research is being done on this and new findings are coming to light. The danger is we are constantly in contact with plastic every single day of our lives, especially when plastic is being used to wrap our food and store our water and drinks. The US FDA now calls the plastic used to wrap your food as “Food Contact Substances” but they have always assumed that plastics will migrate toxins into your food. They would only approve a manufacturer which can show that these plastic migrations must fall below an acceptable range. The worst plastic, it is said, to store food or drink in is polyvinyl chloride (PVC).There has been a lot of debate about plastic toys as well, especially those for toddlers which are put into the mouth. There still has to be more research before matured conclusions can be made about the subject of plastic in contact with our food and its migration in minimal amounts. But it is certain that if you swallow or inhale plastic casting resin products, such as a plastic resin hardener, you may experience epoxy or resin poisoning. What will happen in epoxy or resin poisoning?
If you inhale too much epoxy, you may experience breathing difficulties. You may have a severe pain in your throat, which might lead to throat swelling, burning pain in your nose, eyes, ears, lips or tongue. You can also have severe abdominal pain and vomiting, sometimes of blood. Blood may also appear in your faeces. You can develop low blood pressure and have a circulatory collapse. If you get it on your skin, there may be irritation or burning. Your skin can be destroyed and holes may appear.
This particular poisoning is an emergency and you must seek help immediately.

Bad Breath

Today I have read an article about bad breath and I like to share about it.

Bad breath also known as halitosis. Halitosis is the result of the action taken by bacteria that live in your mouth, tongue, and tonsils. It was once suggested that one of the causes of bad breath is Helicobacter Pylori, the organism that causes stomach ulcers and ulcers in the duodenum.

Although there was a research that have been done, there is no firm proof that Helicobacter pylori is responsible for the unpleasant smell on the breath.

On rare occasion, a condition other than stomach bacteria that cause bad breath seems to come from lower down in our body. There are some illnesses like cancers that can cause our breath to have an odd smell. Liver or kidney disease can cause unpleasant stomach breath. It is true then that bad breath could be a sign of other serious problem.

If you notice an unpleasant and persistent smell from your breath that is not associated with the food or medications that you have taken, you should consult your doctor for a professional opinion. Do not try to ignore it or treat it by using bad breath products. And, if your concerns are still about stomach bacteria that cause bad breath, or if you think that you have other health problems, these should be discussed with your doctor, as well.

Thank You.

Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan

The leaning tower of Teluk Intan is the Malaysia equivalent of the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. It is located in the centre of the town of Teluk Intan, Perak. The tower is slanted leftward similar to Tower of Pisa. It is 25.5 metres tall and from outside, it looks like a 8 storey building. In actual fact, you will find out as you go inside that the building is divided into 3 storeys.

The tower is located in the center of a square surrounded by Jalan Pasar, Jalan Selat, Jalan Bandar and Jalan Ah Cheong.

The tower was built in the year 1885 by Leong Choon Chong, a Chinese contractor and was originally used as a water tank to store portable water during dry season for the people living nearby. It is also used as a time keeper of the town as there is a huge clock on top of the tower. The clock was made by J.W. Benson of Ludgatehill London and the cost of building it was contributed by the local people. The building itself is made of bricks and wood.

The pagoda style structure has been greatly influenced by Chinese architecture because the majority of the population of the town at that time was Chinese. Each storey has a height of 5 metres and you will need to go up 110 steps to reach the top of the tower. The reason for the leaning are because of the soft ground on the base of the tower and the weight of the water tank.

Actually i want to explain a little bit the difference between teenage male and teenage female during their learning.Male and female eyes are not organized in the same way, he explains. The composition of the male eye makes it attuned to motion and direction. Boys interpret the world as objects moving through space. The teacher should move around the room constantly and be that object.
The male eye is also drawn to cooler colors like silver, blue, black, grey, and brown. It’s no accident boys tend to create pictures of moving objects like spaceships, cars, and trucks in dark colors instead of drawing the happy colorful family, like girls in their class. The female eye, on the other hand, is drawn to textures and colors. It’s also oriented toward warmer colors—reds, yellow, oranges—and visuals with more details, like faces. To engage girls, the teacher doesn’t need to move as much, if at all. Girls work well in circles, facing each other. Using descriptive phrases and lots of color in overhead presentations or on the chalkboard gets their attention.

Actually i want to share with you about the major language in this world now,English.English is a west Germanic language originating in England and is the first language for most people in United States, United Kingdom, Canada,Australia , New Zealand , Ireland and Anglophone Caribbean. It is used extensively as a second language and as an official language throughout the world, especially in Commonwealth countries and in many international organisations.
Modern English , sometimes described as the first global lingua franca is the dominant international language in communications, science, business, aviation, entertainment, radio and diplomacy. The initial reason for its enormous spread beyond the bounds of the British Isles where it was originally a native tongue was the British Empire, and by the late nineteenth century its influence had won a truly global reach. It is the dominant language in the United States and the growing economic and cultural influence and status as a global superpower since World War II has significantly accelerated adoption of English as a language across the planet.A working knowledge of English has become a requirement in a number of fields, occupations and professions such as medicine and as a consequence over a billion people speak English to at least a basic level (see English language learning and teaching).
Linguists such as David Crystal recognize that one impact of this massive growth of English, in common with other global languages, has been to reduce native linguistic diversity in many parts of the world historically, most particularly in Australasia and North America, and its huge influence continues to play an important role in language attrition. By a similar token, historical linguists, aware of the complex and fluid dynamics of language change, are always alive to the potential English contains through the vast size and spread of the communities that use it and its natural internal variety, such as in its creoles and pidgins, to produce a new family of distinct languages over time.English is one of six official languages of the United Nations.
Thank you...

Actually i want to the second most popular football tournament in this world,The UEFFA Cup Championship. The UEFA Cup, which will be renamed the UEFA Europa League in 2009/10, grew out of an idea conceived by Switzerland's Ernst Thommen who, along with Italy's Ottorino Barrasi and England's Sir Stanley Rous, later FIFA President, created a tournament for representative sides from European cities that regularly held trade fairs. This forerunner to the UEFA Cup, the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, was founded on 18 April 1955, two weeks after the founding of the European Champion Clubs' Cup. The first Fairs Cup involved teams from Barcelona, Basle, Birmingham, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Lausanne, Leipzig, London, Milan and Zagreb. The original tournament lasted three years, with matches timed to coincide with trade fairs. Barcelona, using players purely from FC Barcelona, beat a London representative side 8-2 on aggregate in the final.

Dinosaur....

Dinosaurs were the dominant vertebrate animals of terrestrial ecosystems for over 160 million years, from the late Triassic period (about 230 million years ago) to the end of the Cretaceous period (65 million years ago), when most of them became extinct in the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event. The 10,000 living species of birds have been classified as dinosaurs.

The discovery in 1861 of Archaeopteryx first suggested a close relationship between dinosaurs and birds; aside from the presence of fossilized feather impressions, Archaeopteryx was very similar to the contemporary small predatory dinosaur Compsognathus. Research since the 1970s indicates that theropod dinosaurs are most likely the ancestors of birds; in fact, most paleontologists regard birds as the only surviving dinosaurs and some believe dinosaurs and birds should be put together under one biological class. Crocodilians are the other surviving close relatives of dinosaurs, and both groups are members of the Archosauria, a group of reptiles that first appeared in the very late Permian and became dominant in the mid-Triassic.

For about the first half of the 20th century, both scientists and the general public regarded dinosaurs as slow, unintelligent cold-blooded animals. However, the bulk of research since the 1970s has supported the view that they were active animals with elevated metabolisms, and often with adaptations for social interactions. This change of view was strongly influenced by evidence of the descent of birds from theropod dinosaurs.

Since the first dinosaur fossils were recognized in the early nineteenth century, mounted dinosaur skeletons have become major attractions at museums around the world. Dinosaurs have become a part of world culture and remain consistently popular among children and adults. They have been featured in best-selling books and films (notably Jurassic Park), and new discoveries are regularly covered by the media.

The term "dinosaur" was first coined in 1842 by Sir Richard Owen and derives from Greek (deinos) "terrible, powerful, wondrous" + (sauros) "lizard". It is sometimes used informally to describe other prehistoric reptiles, such as the pelycosaur Dimetrodon, the winged pterosaurs, and the aquatic ichthyosaurs, plesiosaurs and mosasaurs, although none of these were dinosaurs.

When first time I watch film Titanic, I was very impressed with its size. At first I don’t understand the love story because i only look at the ship size. But when I’m growing up, I start to understand the story behind it.RMS Titanic was an Olympic-class passenger liner owned by the White Star Line and built at the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Ireland, UK. On the night of 14 April 1912, during her maiden voyage, Titanic hit an iceberg, and sank two hours and forty minutes later, early on 15 April 1912. At the time of her launching in 1912, she was the largest passenger steamship in the world.
The sinking resulted in the deaths of 1,517 people, ranking it as the deadliest peacetime maritime disaster in history. The Titanic used some of the most advanced technology available at the time and was, prior to the sinking, popularly believed to be “unsinkable”. It was a great shock to many that despite the advanced technology and experienced crew, the Titanic sank with a great loss of life. The media frenzy about Titanic's famous victims, the legends about what happened on board the ship, the resulting changes to maritime law, and the discovery of the wreck in 1985 by a team led by Robert Ballard have made Titanic persistently famous in the years since.

School’s life should be a memorable moment in everyone’s life. It’s a place where we learn. It’s a place to educate ourselves and to explore new things. I’ve watch a Japanese series entitled “My Boss My Hero” which the whole story revolves around school. It’s a funny story, though. This drama tells us about an uneducated man who is going to replace his father’s place in leading a Yakuza group (Yakuza = Japanese mafia), called Kantou Sharp Fang. In order to be the gang’s leader, he had to go back to high school, at the age of 27! He had to disguise himself as a 17-year-old high school student and follow the school’s rule, including no smoking, no fighting, and most importantly, no Yakuza behavior. If not, he will definitely be in trouble and unable to graduate. As a result, the role of leading the gang would be given to his younger brother. Anyhow, he decided to go to school until he graduated, no matter what will ever happen. There, he learned so many valuable things like friendship, love, hard work, team working, and so much more. He learned that violent doesn’t pay. I’m not going to talk more about this drama, but all I can say here is that school’s important. No matter how poor you are, or how old you are, even how lazy you are, just go to school. Enjoy the school life. Otherwise you will regret it when you get older. Tell this to all of your acquaintances, your younger siblings, and any child you found wandering around the streets. Tell them that it’s great to be in school. Even, tell them, your kind of story during your time in school. At school, you can learn the value of friendship, the value for being under a great leader, the value of love between family members.

Actually i want to share with you a little information about a device which called the basic of computer, calculator.A calculator is device for performing mathematical calculations, distinguished from a computer by having a limited problem solving ability and an interface optimized for interactive calculation rather than programming. Calculators can be hardware or software, and mechanical or electronic, and are often built into devices such as PDAs or mobile phone.Modern electronic calculators are generally small, digital, (often pocket-sized) and usually inexpensive. In addition to general purpose calculators, there are those designed for specific markets; for example, there are scientific calculators which focus on advanced math like trigonometry and statistics, or even have the ability to do computer algebra. Modern calculators are more portable than most computers, though most PDAs are comparable in size to hand held calculators.
In the past, mechanical clerical aids such as abaci, comptometers, Napier's bones, books of mathematical tables, slide rules, or mechanical adding machines were used for numeric work. This semi-manual process of calculation was tedious and error-prone.Modern calculators are electrically powered (usually by battery and/or solar cell) and vary from cheap, give-away, credit-card sized models to sturdy adding machine-like models with built-in printers. They first became popular in the late 1960s as decreasing size and cost of electronics made possible devices for calculations, avoiding the use of scarce and expensive computer resources. By the 1980s, calculator prices had reduced to a point where a basic calculator was affordable to most. By the 1990s they had become common in math classes in schools, with the idea that students could be freed from basic calculations and focus on the concepts.Computer operating systems as far back as early Unix have included interactive calculator programs such as dc and hoc, and calculator functions are included in almost all PDA-type devices.
Thank you...

Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives
a. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.
b. Our 3rd wife ? Our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others.
c. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
d. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material, wealth and sensual pleasure.

I have read an article about critical thinking.
A person can be good at critical thinking, meaning that the person can have the appropriate dispositions and be adept at the cognitive processes, while still not being a good (in the moral sense) critical thinker. For example, a person can be adept at developing arguments and then, unethically, use this skill to mislead and exploit a gullible person, perpetrate a fraud, or deliberately confuse and confound, and frustrate a project. The experts were faced with an interesting problem. Some, a minority, would prefer to think that critical thinking, by its very nature, is inconsistent with the kinds of unethical and deliberately counterproductive examples given. They find it hard to imagine a person who was good at critical thinking not also being good in the broader personal and social sense. In other words, if a person were "really" a "good critical thinker" in the procedural sense and if the person had all the appropriate dispositions, then the person simply would not do those kinds of exploitive and aggravating things. The large majority, however, hold the opposite judgment. They are firm in the view that good critical thinking has nothing to do with... any given set of ethical values or social mores. The majority of experts maintain that critical thinking conceived of as we have described it above, is, regrettably, not inconsistent with its unethical use. A tool, an approach to situations, these can go either way, ethically speaking, depending on the character, integrity, and principles of the persons who possess them. So, in the final analysis the majority of experts maintained that "it is an inappropriate use of the term to deny that someone is engaged in critical thinking on the grounds that one disapproves ethically of what the person is doing. What critical thinking means, why it is of value, and the ethics of its use are best regarded as three distinct concerns."

Welcome again and know I will share to you all about bad influence of movies whether to children, teenagers or youths. There are many effects of movie and tv also.Arguments over the effects of the movies and television have been around as long as these two modes of expression. Because they are visual, they are treated somewhat differently than the written word. Because television comes into the home, it is treated somewhat differently from any other medium, including radio which, while it comes into the home, does not bring pictures with it. Television knows the power of the image, and critics of television are aware that the image can be a negative force as well as a positive one. Precisely how to gauge this and to ascertain when the image is too negative is at the center of the issue at hand. The issue of violence on television has been raised in the past and is once more being given considerable attention in the media, by congress, and in the public at large. At the same time, the scope of complaint this time is directed not just at violent entertainment shows but also at the way the network presents the news.

Mostly, movie and TV give most abundance bad influence to the children. Then children's TV was deregulated and violent programs and toys successfully deluged childhood culture. Of course, it is a stretch to blame television in this fashion for an increase in crime rates which could have multiple causes, and it is especially difficult to prove that linking violent programs with toys is the reason for this increase. The link does show the concerns raised and how some people are viewing the issue.Somehow such influences on the lives of children, highly important to many of them, have to be constructively dealt with in classrooms, for it can be doubted that much is being done about them in all but a few homes. This is a responsible approach and a far cry from demands that television violence be controlled by the government. Levin and Carlsson-Paige (1996) as well are not calling for government control of violence as such but are asking that the government reconsider its position with reference to deregulation of children's programming.

So,the movie and televisyen give more bad effect to the children.Parents are most important people that can look after and see about children behaviour.Parents should show and give the best intertainment to the children.Thats all about bad effect of movie and televisyen.Thank you.

group study???does it works????
Many college professors agree that group study enhances students’ performances, both in class discussions, as well as on tests.
In a group environment, students are less likely to procrastinate. After all, it’s easy to put off an assignment when you only have yourself to answer to, isn’t it? But when you know you have a whole group of people counting on you, you’ll be more likely to get the job done.
Group study also encourages students to explain things aloud. By speaking to and listening to others, students often improve on recall ability, or ability to remember information on test day.
Students who study with others are also forced to become more organized. Once you learn to date and label your notes, you’ll see that organized notes make much more sense at the end of the week than the jumbled, mix and match variety.
One more great benefit of group discussion is that the many perspectives improve your chances of anticipating test questions. Group members will always bring up ideas and thoughts you’d never considered. The various views are sure to pay off on test day!
Finally, you’ll likely find that the benefit of group study reaches far beyond the good results on test day. It will build self-confidence that you can use for the rest of your life. Speaking to small groups will prepare students for speaking to larger groups in the future—or more official groups such as college admission panels or hiring boards.
So go ahead and start building a group of like-minded students who share your goals for success. Be sure to develop a set of study rules to establish the “where’s” and “how’s” and stick by them. The results will show on report card day!

I have read an article about
4 ways to appreciate life more.
Everybody goes through a period of time in their life in which they think they’re worthless, their life is horrible, and nothing will ever go their way.
Learning to appreciate life is a very big aspect of that. You can be a happy person but until you take the time to appreciate the life you have, you will never reach your highest potential of happiness.
There are many ways in realizing that you have a great life, but below I will outline what I think are the 4 easiest and simplest ways of realizing this important truth
1) Things can always get better-improving your life to the point where it’s your dream life. No matter where your life stands - there is always a way to make it much better.

2) Get a pet-By having a pet you can appreciate the fact that you have support no matter what you did or what happened to you.

3) Look at the stars-When you look up and see the thousands of twinkling stars, you begin to ponder philosophical questions about your life, how amazing it is that the stars can be billions and trillions of light years away and yet you can see them, and what kind of magnificent energy it takes to create something like the universe we live in.

4) Watch or play with a baby-When you look at a baby, especially one that’s laughing or smiling, you can’t help but feel happy.

Today i would like to share with all of you about examination tips.
First, you must have a positive thinking. You must build self-confidence and prepare well with stable, calm and peaceful mind. There is no reason to panic. The most important thing is that you must be confident and read questions thoroughly, close your eyes in meditation for a while. This is to make sure you are confident to answer it.
Then, you must work hard.Adopt an effective method of learning with revisions instead of cramming lessons.Re-read the course using brains and mastering efficiency to write your answers on your own with understanding.
You also must set realistic and specific goals and objectives for yourself. The goal is what you hope to achieve and the objective is how you will go about achieving it. After you have written down your goals, using specific data, numbers, and times, check to see if they are realistic. Then add your objectives, the actions you will take to obtain what you want.
Finally, the thing that i can say must have in ourself is that we must trust in god. If one works hard, faith in god do repay returns.
Good luck...........

The Global Warming

Assalamualaikum to teacher and my fellow friends.Recently,I have been read an article about the global warming. So,what is global warming? global warming is perhaps the most enviromental problem in the world today.Levels of greenhouse gases are increasing in the atmosphere due to human activities, and are changing the composition of the atmosphere and global warming.Climate scientists agree that human activities such as the burning of fossils fuels contribute to the problem.
So,there are also more dangerous effects of global warming.
Firstly is growing incidence of droughts in some areas, floods in others.Secondly is the rising temperatures of oceans and the sea levels.Global warming increase extreme weather events such as tornadoes and hurricanes.
Besides, there will be the melting of mountain glaciers and the reduction of snow cover.Furthermore, the coral reefs will die, coastal erosion and loss of coastal ecosytems.
I will conclude that the global warming is more danger and harmful to people lifestyle.
It is not imposible that the land and highland will be submerged by the flood.People must take seriously about this issue.

Thanks.

I have read an article about
Prayer Is Better Than Sleep..
When young Muslims meet others for the first time and find out that they are Muslim, often one of the very first questions they ask each other is, "Do you pray?" It's as if this is their touchstone to see if the person they have met is a real Muslim or not. Calling yourself Muslim is one thing, being a Muslim is something else. We all know deep down, don't we, that praying five times a day is at the heart of Islam? It is one of the things that distinguishes a Muslim from everyone else in the world; that all the activities of life can be made significant by the cycle of prayer and praise which we offer to Almighty Allah. So why, then, do we have such a problem being faithful to prayer?
I performed `Umrah for the first time last April. It was one of the most important experiences of my life and it is still having its effects on me now. Being so close to the Ka`bah was a deeply moving experience. Being at the very place where our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), like all the prophets before him, had walked and prayed, was amazing. One of the things that hit me most about being in Makkah, amongst so many others, was when the call to Prayer sounded for Fajr, the Dawn Prayer. Thousands of people appeared from every direction and headed towards the Ka`bah for prayer. Getting up in the middle of the night wasn't difficult at all, because the experience of praying at the Ka`bah was so moving. At the time, moving with the vast crowd, I couldn't help thinking about what it is usually like back home. Those getting up and going to the mosque for the Dawn Prayer are certainly a minority, aren't they? Away from Makkah, it is all too easy to ignore the Adhan completely and stay in the comfort of one's bed.

At special times like Ramadan, or when we go on pilgrimage, it seems so much easier to be faithful to prayer and to take Islam so much more seriously. How many of us, for example, attended Tarawih Prayers in the mosque during Ramadan, even though we might occasionally miss one or two of the obligatory prayers? It's one of life's paradoxes that we want so much to be good, and yet we find ourselves falling into the same old traps and doing things we later regret.

How odd we are as human beings! We can quite happily sit in front of the television for hours or sit idly chatting on the Net to no one in particular, yet we can't manage to set aside ten minutes to pray. We do pray, of course, when we want something. Prayer is no problem for us at all then. It comes quite naturally and is no inconvenience at all. The minute a plane begins to plummet to the ground because of engine failure, even the least religious person on board raises his hands in prayer. When a loved one is diagnosed with a serious illness or when we desperately want an interview to go well, we pray.

I want to share about an article that I have read which is Effective communication.
Effective communication is all about conveying your messages to other people clearly and unambiguously. It's also about receiving information that others are sending to you, with as little distortion as possible.

In fact, communication is only successful when both the sender and the receiver understand the same information as a result of the communication.

By successfully getting your message across, you convey your thoughts and ideas effectively. When not successful, the thoughts and ideas that you actually send do not necessarily reflect what you think, causing a communications breakdown and creating roadblocks that stand in the way of your goals – both personally and professionally.

Being able to communicate effectively is therefore essential if you want to build a successful career. To do this, you must understand what your message is, what audience you are sending it to, and how it will be perceived. You must also weigh-in the circumstances surrounding your communications, such as situational and cultural context.

There is some tips that I want to share with all of you..
Tips on How to have Great Conversation with Anyone..
With these tips you will be well on your way to having a good, meaningful and entertaining conversation with anyone!

First, make a good first impression. Smile, ask questions that require more than a yes/no answer, and really listen. Maintain eye contact and keep as friendly and polite as possible.

Then,Listen. This is the most important part of any conversation. You might think a conversation is all about talking, but it will not go anywhere if the listener is too busy thinking of something to say next. Pay attention to what is being said.

You also must ask questions. What do they like to do? What sort of things have they done in their life? What is happening to them now? What did they do today or last weekend? Identify things about them that you might be interested in hearing about, and politely ask questions.

Forget yourself. It’s much easier to become interested in others than it is to convince them to be interested in you.” If you are too busy thinking about yourself, what you look like, or what the other person might be thinking, you will never be able to relax. Introduce yourself, shake hands, then forget yourself and focus on them instead.

Lastly, know when the conversation is over. Even the best conversations will eventually run out of steam or be ended by an interruption. Shake hands with the other person and be sure to tell them you enjoyed talking with them. Ending on a positive note will leave a good impression and likely bring them back later for more!

Architecture and Technology

Assalamualaikum to all…I have been read an article about the architecture and technology. I think this is most interesting article. People nowadays should know widely about the technology today.
The introduction of new technology is often a complex process that retains strong ties with the cultural context into which the technology is introduced. We live in the computer age, yet the process of its unfolding is far from permitting us the ability to understand the full potential of its impact. This is particularly true due to the rapid-paced, innovative, and continually changing nature of technology development. With respect to architecture, the computer as a medium for long-distance design collaboration, visualizing negative space as a problem-solving strategy, requiring code compliance software, and as a graphic grammar system that generates designs for human interpretation has become a great inspiration and practical tool for architects and other artists. Recent technologies have caused a shift in the perspective of computer technology and design from an architectural perspective. Thank you.

Crocodile....

A crocodile is any species belonging to the family Crocodylidae/Crocodylinae. The term can also be used more loosely to include all members of the order Crocodilia: i.e. the true crocodiles, the alligators and caimans (family Alligatoridae) and the gharials (family Gavialidae), or even the Crocodylomorpha which includes prehistoric crocodile relatives and ancestors. Crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles that live throughout the tropics in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Crocodiles tend to congregate in freshwater habitats like rivers, lakes, wetlands and sometimes in brackish water. They feed mostly on vertebrates like fish, reptiles, and mammals, sometimes on invertebrates like mollusks and crustaceans, depending on species. They are an ancient lineage, and are believed to have changed little since the time of the dinosaurs. They are believed to be 200 million years old whereas dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago; crocodiles survived great extinction events.

women and diet...
What is the healthiest diet for women? Despite the news stories and companies that promote diet products, the fact is the proper diet for women is not a matter of knowing which are the "good" foods or ‘bad" foods and not simply a matter of using a new fad pill or meal.
Eating food daily from all the food groups is a healthy diet; eating this way will provide your body with all the nutrition you need for optimal functioning, no matter your age. Basically, this means you would eat a lot of fruits, vegetables (five servings a day) plus whole grains. A healthy diet also and involves eating only low-fat or fat-free dairy products and making sure that no more than 20-35 percent of daily calories are from fat. Low-fat meats and fish add to the amount of protein in the diet.
This manner of eating provides a women's diet that maintains normal blood-sugar and insulin levels because of the amount of fruits and vegetables and avoiding processed white breads and sugary foods. Another important element of a healthy diet for women is never skipping meals. Many women also find benefits from eating smaller meals several times (5-7) a day, rather than three large meals.

Breast Cancer
Assalamualaikum. What is breast cancer? Here I will share to you all about the breast cancer and the risk factors.
Breast cancer is caused by malignant cells in the lining of the milk glands or ducts of the breast .The characteristics of the cancer depend on where in the glandular or ductal unit the cancer occurs, and this determines the subtype. Ductal carcinoma, for example, begins in the ducts; lobular carcinoma involves the lobules or glands If the cancer has not yet spread. Once the cancer becomes invasive, it can spread to the regional lymph nodes or to other organ systems in the body and become systemic. The primary lymph nodes for the breast are in the axilla, and this is the first place to which it usually spreads. If the cancer gets into the bloodstream, it can be carried anywhere, and the most likely sites for systemic metastases are the lungs, liver, skin, soft tissue, and bones. Women over age 60 are at the greatest risk, and is uncommon before menopause. The risk factors include a family history of breast cancer; early onset of menstruation, and late onset of menopause, women who have not had children or who have not breast-fed children, women taking hormone replacement therapy, women who have had radiation therapy to the chest, increased breast density, being obese after menopause and some studies have indicated that physical inactivity .

Assalamualaikum,

right now,I am going to share my reading about History of Kuantan,

Kuantan is the state capital of Pahang, the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia. It is situated near the mouth of the Kuantan River and faces the South China Sea. The population of Kuantan is 58% Malay, 32% Chinese, 4% Indian and 6% other races. If one measures the distance along the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, it is located roughly halfway between Singapore and Kota Bharu. Kuantan's population is approximately 552,500 and it is the 9th largest city in Malaysia.

The Pahang state government shifted the administrative centre of Pahang from Kuala Lipis to Kuantan in 1955.

Recently, the National Physical Plan 2005 identified Kuantan as one of the future growth centres and a hub for trade, commerce, transportation and tourism.
Kuantan is said to have been founded in the 1850s. The word "Kuantan" was mentioned by Abdullah Abdul Kadir (Munshi Abdullah) circa 1851/2 as below:

"On Thursday night came a boat from KUANTAN. Then they told the ship's crew there's a pirate ship at Tanjung Tujuh, forty of them and at Pulau Kapas, and as well at Pulau Redang; it was spotted by two Kuantan boats and they set off...."

In its early days, it was known as Kampung Teruntum (Teruntum Village). The village was situated at the mouth of Teruntum River which is in front of the current hospital and it was established by Haji Senik and his followers in the 1850s. Early primary economic activities included fishing and small businesses. The main evidence of the establishment of the village is the cemetery that is situated near Taman Esplanade in front of the current Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan.

Towards the late 19th century, arrival of Chinese miners and traders saw the establishment of a township in Kuantan and also nearby tin mining areas such as Gambang and Sungai Lembing. Similar to what occurred in other states in Peninsular Malaysia, rubber plantations attracted Indian settlers as well.

Athletes and Performance Improvement

Did you know athletes need drugs to strive up their performance?Athletes are always striving to be the best and so are always looking for ways to improve their performance. When they have exhausted all regular means, such as specialized training, personalized diets, a regular workout, and a healthy lifestyle, the often feel they need a little something more to give them the edge. This is when they are tempted to turn to drugs for that extra boost which will take them to the top. Often, drug-taking by athletes is coerced by coaches whose careers may depend on having the winning team. In professional sports, and particularly in the Olympic games, the pressure to win is overwhelming to many, and they succumb to the temptation of a little extra help.
The drugs used vary depending on the type of sport being engaged in. For instance, football players, baseball players, and basketball players, and especially weight-lifters need to build muscle mass and often use androstenedione and other muscle-building drugs. The NBA has just banned androstenedione (andro), as well as dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), (both over-the-counter supplements) another steroid hormone, and other steroid precursors. Similar action has been taken in major league baseball. DHEA and andro are produced in the testicles, ovaries and adrenal glands, and so are considered naturally occurring substances and so are classed as dietary supplements and not drugs. Anabolic steroid not only help build muscle, but also help athletes.

Assalamualaikum..
i would like to share with my friends the better study skill..
From my research i have found that the good study skill is using the
the PQRST Method

An LSE student studies for her final exams. The method that many students who like to add an overt structure to their learning to keep them on track is the PQRST method. It helps the student focus on studying and prioritizing the information in a way that relates directly to how they will be asked to use that information in an exam. The method can also be modified to suit any particular form of learning in most subjects. It can also allow more accurate timing of work so instead of having to decide how much time to attribute to one whole topic you can decide how long it might take to preview the material and then each step after that.

Preview: Look at the topic you have to learn by glancing over the major headings or the points in the syllabus.

Question: Formulate questions that you would like to be able to answer once you have finished the topic. It is important that you match as much as possible what you would like to know to your syllabus or course direction. This allows a certain flexibility to take in other topics that may aid your learning of the main point or if you are just interested. Make sure that your questions are neither more specific or more open-ended than they might be in an exam.

Read: Read through your reference material that relates to the topic you want to learn for your exam being mindful to pick out the information that best relates to the questions you wish to answer.

Summary: This is the most flexible part of the method and allows individual students to bring any ways that they used to summarize information into the process. This can include making written notes, spider diagrams, flow diagrams, labeled diagrams, mnemonics, making a voice recording of you summarizing the topic, or any method that feels most appropriate for what has to be learned. You can combine several methods as long as this doesn't extend the process too long as you may lose sight that you are merely seeking to use the information in the most appropriate way.

Test: Use this step to assess whether you have focused on the important information and stayed on topic. Answer the questions that you set for yourself in the Question section as fully as you can as this using of the information is another way of using the information and remembering more of it. This section also reminds you to continually manipulate the information so that is focused on whatever form of assessment that it is needed for. It is sometimes easy to lose sight of the point of learning and see it as a task to be completed mundanely. Try to avoid adding questions that you didn't formulate in the Q section.

so,hope all my friends can use this simple step to achieve a good performance in the academic.
Thank you..

Assalamualaikum,

Right now,I am going to share my reading about The uses of dates.

Dry or soft dates are eaten out-of-hand, or may be pitted and stuffed with fillings such as almonds, walnuts, candied orange and lemon peel, tahini, marzipan or cream cheese. Pitted dates are also referred to as stoned dates. Dates can also be chopped and used in a range of sweet and savory dishes, from tajines (tagines) in Morocco to puddings, ka'ak (types of Arab cookies) and other dessert items. Dates are also processed into cubes, paste called "'ajwa", spread, date syrup or "honey" called "dibs" or "rub" in Libya, powder (date sugar), vinegar or alcohol. Recent innovations include chocolate-covered dates and products such as sparkling date juice, used in some Islamic countries as a non-alcoholic version of champagne, for special occasions and religious times such as Ramadan.

Dates can also be dehydrated, ground and mixed with grain to form a nutritious stockfeed. Dried dates are fed to camels, horses and dogs in the Sahara. In northern Nigeria, dates and peppers added to the native beer are believed to make it less intoxicating.

Young date leaves are cooked and eaten as a vegetable, as is the terminal bud or heart, though its removal kills the palm. The finely ground seeds are mixed with flour to make bread in times of scarcity. The flowers of the date palm are also edible. Traditionally the female flowers are the most available for sale and weigh 300-400 grams. The flower buds are used in salad or ground with dried fish to make a condiment for bread.

In India, North Africa, Ghana, and Côte d'Ivoire, date palms are tapped for the sweet sap which is converted into palm sugar (known as jaggery or gur), molasses or alcoholic beverages. In North Africa the sap obtained from tapping palm trees is known as lāgbī (pronounced [laːgbiː]). If left for a sufficient period of time (typically hours-depending on the temperature) lāgbī easily becomes an alcoholic drink. Special skill is required when tapping the palm tree so that it does not die.

It is also used to make Jallab.

Again, i want to share about migraine.. Do you know anything about the migraine??are you one of the person who suffer because of migraine??whwn we talk about the migraine what crossed to our mind is always somethung bad and we do not expect good about the migraine right??..hmmm,i want to share something with you all... i have read one article said that migraine is good for the memory...
it sounds weird right..but in that article mention that people with migraine suffer less memory loss over time than the unafflicted..according to the finding of the researchers from the Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, while migraineurs scored lower on memory tests at the start of their study, they showed 17 per cent less cognitive decline than non-migraineurs 12 years later.
meanwhile study author Dr Amanda Kalaydjian said that migraine medications such as ibuprofen, which might have a protective effect on memory, might be partially responsible...
but in that article also mention that it seems more likely that there may be an underlying biological mechanism, such as changes in blood vessels or differences in brain activity..

hmmm..
unexpectable rigth..so,maybe we cannot judge a thing too early rigth..if look something bad at anything, we cannot say that the whole thing is bad right..for me, that is the wonderfullnes and special about the God's creation..full of secrets..

The Air Pollution

Assalamualaikum..
Right now,I am going to share my reading and my coment about friendship poem that i had read. This is about the air pollution.Air pollution is a major threat to humanity. Not only does it directly threaten individual health and well-being, it also threatens the rest of the environment on which humanity depends for its existence. The threat is universal and the effects of air pollution range from increased cases of various diseases to global warming. Since the introduction of the extensive use of fossil fuels during the Industrial Revolution, the air pollution problem has increased steadily. Other types of industrial emissions, enormous increases in automobile exhausts, and domestic use of various substances have added greatly to the emergency. Efforts to meet the crisis have often been undermined by misinformation and indifference. The central focus of this paper is the effects that air pollution has, or will have, on human societies. A review of the sources and types of air pollution is followed by a detailed examination of the health, quality-of-life, and environmental effects of the air pollution crisis.

Computer Network

Assalamualaikum and have a nice day to my beloved teacher and my fellow friends.I want to share you all about the computer network. So,what is computer network?
Computer networks now form the backbone of most computing environments. Businesses rely on local and wide area networks to conduct their operations, and consumers who connect to the Internet using DSL lines are actually using networks, although they may not be aware of the infrastructure in place. There are many different components that go into making a successful network, including different types of network media as well as various types of networks themselves. This research considers different media types, different network types, service carriers, and which type of service may become dominant in the future. There are two categories of media commonly used for networking, bounded and unbounded. Bounded media are those that use cables for transmitting electricity or light and unbounded media does not require cabling and includes satellite, microwave and radio transmission. Wireless connections, including 802.11b and 802.11g, are examples of unbounded media. Today, bounded media continue to be more common than unbounded, and it is bounded media considered here. The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) provides the dial-up connections with which many residential consumers connect to the Internet. This uses connections on the standard copper phone lines found in homes, which makes it convenient, but has an analog transmission limit of 53Kpbs. Modems are used for communications by modulating digital signals into analog signals.

Assalamualaikum and good day to all my friends and to our beloved teacher, Mdm Noli Maishara..

Things can go from bad to worse very quickly if you focus on the wrong things. Here’s a list of things not to do when you’re faced with dead ends.

#1 don’t give up
Taking a defeatist attitude will get you no where in life. Keep trying, eventually you’ll make it.

#2 don’t label yourself a failure
One slip-up doesn’t make you a loser for the rest of your life. Negativity will only fuel more failure as you’ll have no motivation or drive to improve.

#3 don’t rush it
Whether it’s the process of feeling better or getting better at what you do, it all takes time. Time is not just the best healer, but the best trainer too. Be patient with yourself and in time you’ll reap the benefits.

#4 don’t be too hard on yourself
Ease up sister! Sometimes things are just out of your control, we all make mistakes. You can’t change what has happened, so accept responsibility, learn and move on.

#5 don’t just stick to plan A
While we love things to go our way, it’s not always the name of the game. Learn how to be flexible – that way you’ll get more out of life.

#6 don’t play the blame game
It’s much easier than accepting responsibility, but it only means you’re never going to learn. Grow up and swallow the bitter pill, it’s good for you

this tips gave me motivation to keep on focusing in a right way on what i learn.everyone have their 'brakedown' moment.ngeeee.especially me!i hope this tips help you guys out there if you are focusing on the wrong thing.

Thank You...

Anorexia Nervosa Among Ladies

Assalamualaikum and have a nice day I bid to our beloved teacher and my fellow friends. I have been read an article about the Anerexia Nervosa among ladies. The research examines anorexia nervosa, which is an eating disorder characterized by self-starvation, whose victims are usually young women. The research focuses on theoretical and empirical work addressing therapies and interventions for anorexia nervosa. The treatment of anorexia nervosa is individual therapy. This individual therapy should be grounded in depth psychology in conjunction with non-verbal or pre-verbal forms of associative art therapy, music therapy based on depth psychology, body-oriented self-discovery, and relaxation therapy. The effectiveness of this individual therapy may be enhanced through prevention ad intervention programs that also include family-based therapy and topic-centered group therapy. The inclusion of physical therapy also may be beneficial in some cases. A six-stage model has been offered for use in treating chronic anorexic patients. The base assumptions underlying this model are that the main purpose of the therapy is the improvement of the patient's personal relations external to the therapy itself and that the focus of the treatment is on the strategic incapacity of the patient to cope with her or his life situation. Thank you.

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noli Maishara Binti Nordin and all my friends.
Hi!today I want to share with you all about tips before examination. This article I was read in a book from motivation book. Here, have 5 Healthy study tips during exam.
Firstly, is get it done early in the morning. You concentrate better during the early hours of the morning at about 7am after your light breakfast before lunch. This is due to morning energy which helps you relax and destress. It would be better if you workout for half an hour before study.
Then, study at maximum 6 hours a day.Usually, the material we study after 6 hours will go into waste due to the exhausted mind. Solution is, try having a few hours relax by watching TV, Radio or even workout.
Besides, off your TV, laptop or internet. These are the main factor of distraction for not studying and it is 100% true, I've wasting 2 days ONLINE and not studying so off your internet or computer or TV.
After that, eat fruit and drink water.Eat lots of fruit as it contains vitamins, nutrients and most importantly lasting energy. Try having fruit for breakfast and snacks while you are studying, it worked. Besides, water helps keep you refreshed and stops you from getting mentally foggy so its a good habits in exam week!
Lastly, don’t stress never work out.I realise beign stress will never help you to pass your exam. When a person is stressed, work will never get done therefore no point being so stress out. Relax and enjoy studying because not only you are facing exams, many others are in the same boat. So, ignore the word stress and move on.
Good luck in final exam!

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noli Maishara Binti Nordin and all my friends.
Hi!today I want to share with you all about novel ayat-ayat cinta have was I read.Ayat Ayat Cinta is a beautifully portrayed Islamic love story a tale of a virtuous Muslim protagonist who overcomes all obstacles of life maintaining pure ideals.
Fedi Nuril as Fahri bin Abdillah is a poor, intelligent student who wins a scholarship to complete his graduate degree at Egypt's esteemed Al Azhar University. Very disciplined and dedicated by nature, Fahri embraces his life in Cairo, completing his studies and translation of religious books with full enthusiasm, exactly according to pre-determined targets. For Fahri is innocent and pure, and doesn't believe in the concept of relationships prior to marriage. He is inarticulate and shy around women. All his life, only two women have been close to him – his mother and grandmother.
Life changes drastically in Egypt for he suddenly finds himself surrounded by four beautiful, distinctly different women.
Carissa Putri as Maria Girgis, a shy, open-minded Coptic neighbor who is attracted to the teachings of the Holy Quran, finds herself falling in love with Fahri (a fact she only reveals to her diary).
Melanie Putria as Nurul, a student at Al Azhar like Fahri, is the Muslim daughter of a renowned Indonesian cleric. Fahri feels unworthy of her and thus ignores his feelings for her, leaving her confused and guessing.
Zaskia Adya Mecca as Noura, an abused Egyptian neighbor, develops strong romantic feelings for Fahri, who in turn simply sympathizes with her situation. His romantic rejection destroys her and eventually leads to a false accusation of rape.
Rianti Cartwright as Aisha, a German Turkish student in Cairo haunts Fahri with her beautiful eyes. Following an incident on the metro where Fahri defends her against narrow minded bigoted Muslims, both immediately develop feelings for each other.
As the story unravels, the protagonist makes the audience face the daunting decisions he himself faces, and forces us to marvel at his undying loyalty to the true ideals of Islam as he ultimately makes the choice of a lifetime.
So,I hope you all enjoy watch this film or read novel.

Computer Hackers
Assalamualaikum and have a nice day I bid to our beloved teacher and my fellow friends.I have been read an article about the computer hackers. As the technological revolution has transformed the world in recent decades, computers and computer networks have become ubiquitous throughout society. Not surprisingly, computer hackers have become almost as ubiquitous. Hackers range from the mischievous at one end to the truly dastardly at the other. Regardless of their motives, they pose a huge threat to the technological infrastructure that underpins the modern world. This paper will examine computer hackers, from their goals and personalities to the preventive measures adopted by business and governments to thwart them. Hackers generally fall into three groups. The first group hacks into computer networks just to prove they can do it. The mischievous ones often leave proof of their entry and then exit the network. The majority of hackers fall into this first group, and they are largely harmless. Indeed, they completely reject the actions of the second and third groups. What would drive someone to tap into private computer networks just for fun? Because it is there, would be the response of many hackers. For some, it is all a game, and at times they even help computer security experts. Many expert hackers trespass on systems strictly for the challenge and will patch holes on the way out or notify system administrators about how they broke in.Thats all about the computer hackers.Thank you.

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noli Maishara Binti Nordin and all my friends.
Hi!today I want to share with you all about fasting in month of syawal.
It is the month of Syawal is a month of joy and a month of freedom. We should also not consider Ramadhan as the only month for us to perform ibadah.

Perhaps there are among us who feel that there were many shortcomings done in the last Ramadhan. Perhaps the ibadah were not performed perfectly and perhaps missed the opportunity to get the benefits of the 1000 months.
Verily Allah, The Almighty offers us the opportunity to His servants. It is up to us to seize the opportunity.
In this month, there are many acts which can be performed to complement and continue from our acts in the past month.
The complementary ibadah referred to is the six days fast in the month of Syawal whether it is performed continuously or alternately in Syawal. The fast of 6 days in Syawal has many benefits. Amongst them, as reported in a hadith which means: He who fasts in the month of Ramadhan followed by 6 days in Syawal, it is as if he has fasted for 1 year.
It means that if you complete the fast of 1 month of Ramadhan and continue with 6 days of fasting in Syawal, you will be rewarded with the rewards of someone who has fast for 1 full year.
From this verse, we can see that the 30 days of fasting that we have endured in Ramadhan equates to 10 months of fasting! And the 6 days of fasting in Syawal would equate to 2 months. Thus, we will complete 12 months of fasting, which would equate to fasting for 1 whole year!
This is the benefit Allah has offered to us for us to reap. For those who may have missed the benefits from the previous months, this is an opportunity which you should not miss. The 6 days of fasting in Syawal is like a Rawatib prayer that completes any incomplete prayer. And surely in the course of our fasting in Ramadhan there must have been numerous mistakes that we have made. By fasting 6 days in Syawal, it creates an opportunity for us to atone for those mistakes in our fasting.

Let us increase our ibadah in this significant month in Islam. And may our good deeds be rewarded and accepted by Allah, The Almighty. Hope next syawal, you all can fasting.

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noli Maishara Binti Nordin and all my friends.
Hi!today I want to share with you all about How do you become the best student?
I got from motivation book because I like reading book like that.
You can't nessecarily become the best since you can't control what other students are getting on their grades. You can, however, be the best you can be. That is more important and actually obtainable. Here are a few tips:
Firstly, use a planner or notebook to write down all your assignments when they are given. That way you won't forget your homework, dates of quizzes, tests or projects. If you plan ahead, you will not only be more prepared, but you should have less stress. This can be used to organize more than just the academic part of school. If you are in a sport, you can schedule in team practices, games, and strategy meetings. If you are in a club, then you can write down when your next club activity is.
Secondly,Do all your daily homework. This is good for your grade. I am personally amazed by how many students say they need a better grade but yet they do not always do the homework. It not only gets you a good homework grade but also helps you understand and remember the information. If needed, check over your work. The checking over thing especially applies to math classes.
Thirdly,Do extra credit when your teacher offers it, even if you don't need it now. The teacher might not offer extra credit again in the near future, maybe when you need it. It could come in handy in the future if you don't do so well on a future assignment or test. It is always nice to have some of that cushioning, especially if you are on a borderline between two letter grades. In addition, doing some extra credit shows the teacher that you really care about your grade since you are willing to go the extra mile.
Fourthly,Study more than just the cramming. It helps to study in smaller study sessions more than one large one the night before. Find ways of studying that help you. I find that reading the stuff out loud helps me because I'm reading it, saying it, and hearing it. That means I get in it my mind three ways instead of one when I just read it. But there are so many other techniques like flashcards, making study aids, burn a CD of you saying the material and then listen to it, form a study group, and rereading the chapters in the textbook.
Until here I can share with you all. After this, I can continue some tips to be best student for the next comment.Thank you.

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noli Maishara Binti Nordin and all my friends.
Hi!today I want to share with you all about How do you become the best student?
Actually, this comment I was continue from my last comment. Here, I want to share 3 tip to become best student .
Fifthly,Take notes on lectures. Pay attention! Some teachers in high school take a grade on having your notes done. Getting a grade for notes means easy points for you. You get a good grade for doing something that will further help you with assignments. Even if you are not being graded, it is important to take good notes. Notes show you what your teacher thinks is important out of the chapter you are studying in class. Anything the teacher emphasizes will probably be on the test. So if he or she is repeating something, writes it on the board, or comes out directly and says, "This will be on the test," take note of that. Make some kind of mark or highlight it. Read over these notes and make sure you understand all of it. If you don't get something, don't hesitate to ask your teacher or another classmate. If you think you will look stupid by asking, think of how stupid you will look when you don't do so well when you're tested over that material.
Sixthly,Stay organized. It stinks when you do your homework but left it at home or cannot find it in your folder. Have a separate folder each class and keep all your papers in that folder. It helps some people to make the color of the folder that same color as the textbook. For example, if your science book is red, use a red folder for all your science papers. Basic color coding helps you grab the right book and folder if you are in a rush.
Lastly,Be prepared. Come to class on time and with your needed supplies. Usually this includes paper, textbook, folder with all your papers, and something to write with. Your teacher should tell you what you will need. It is easier to just have it with you than to constantly ask people around you if you can borrow or to go back to your locker.
These tips, along with others, can help you in your schoolwork. Be the best you can be.
I hope, my friends include this tips to become best student. Do the best!

It is a story about a group of students in university life.Coupling is normal thing we could see in university life. But what showing in the story is teenagers had a misunderstood of love, they think that sex is the major of love.

Until heroin of the story got pregnant with the other guy, only she found out that the father of the baby was just seek for fun of sex.She was asked to miscarry the baby.

After the operation, the only thing left is deepest pain into heart. The Hero of this movie take care of her because he loves her and he is sad seeing his beloved suffering for a bad guy(the father of the baby).

The best part of the movie is when the hero with judo`s uniform punching the bad guy(father of the baby) and shouting " love is not a fucking joke ! Your one time enjoyment ! Fuck!It hurts the woman and now the woman`ll have to spend the rest of her life with that pain . You learn only shit ! You don`t know what love is! "

Well that`s what he said before been knocked down by other people.

So,this movie actually brought moral besides a comedy movie. It`s mirroring our life.I hope others can get the message to respect woman, respect love from this movie too.

The 26-year-old, however, produced a polished display from there on to win the game 21-14.In the second game, Chong Wei, a silver medalist at the Beijing Olympic Games, was brilliant with his crafty play and it proved too much for his opponent as the top seed raced to 13-0 before conceding a point.Chong Wei, who has been World No 1 since August, allowed Bhat to earn two more points before wrapping things up 21-3 in 26 minutes.Chong Wei next plays Hong Kong's Chan Yan Kit, who beat Canada's Bobby Milroy 21-17, 21-9, today.

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noli Maishara Binti Nordin and all my friends.
Hi!today I want to share with you all about What is Deepavali. I as Malaysia people must know every festival. Deepavali is among festival in Malaysia. I was read article about this festival. Now, I want to share the summary what I have read.
Deepavali is a colorful festival that is celebrated by all Hindus worldwide is Deepavali, which is also known as the festival of lights. This festival usually falls around late October and November. One important practice that the Hindus follow during the festival is to light oil lamps in their homes on Deepavali morning. By lighting the oil lamps, the Hindus are thanking the gods for the happiness, knowledge, peace and wealth that they have received. The Hindus consider Deepavali as one of the most important festivals to celebrate.
Then, the celebration is The Hindus usually awake early in the morning of deepavali around 3am and the first ritual will be having an oil bath, which is an important feature of Deepavali. Hindus will be dressed in their new clothes on Deepavali. Most of the ladies would be clad in silk saris or Punjabi suits of various bright shades. Hindus particularly dislike dressing in black on that day, as they consider black an inauspicious color for the festival. Hindus would also pay their respects to the elderly and most families would go to the temple after having breakfast. This is also an important practice for them. The reason why they would be going to the temples is to pray to get happiness and prosperity on Deepavali. The houses would be decorated with oil lamps and children will play with firecrackers to celebrate the festival. On the first day, they would not go visiting but would stay at home to welcome the guests who visit them.
Visiting Hindus during Deepavali will be an interesting activity, as you will get to taste a wide variety of delicious food. In every home that you visit you are bound to be served with a tempting spread of sweets. Some of the popular sweets are halwa, burfi and laddu. Hindus love eating spicy food and for non-vegetarians they indulge in favorites like chicken tandoori, prawn sambal and fish head curry. In homes of Hindus who are vegetarians popular dishes like thosais, idlis and naans are prepared. I also like this food. Every year I was got that food from my neighbour.
That all from me. Thank You.

assalamualaikum and gud morning.

Today I had read and article about three cops were killed in a crash near the Km8 Jalan Muar-Melacca.. The position of the cops is constable...

Ok the story happen at Muar, Johor Bahru.. Ok the story is about three constable that just finished their duties at Jasin police station at Melacca have a ride to get back to their home.. In the middle of the journey to get back, they had been collided with the lorry which was making a U-turn...

The car was driven by Syafiq, one of the police...Two of them died at the scene... But one of them make it to the hospital of Sultanah Specialist..

My advice after I read the article is better be careful before this tragedy happen to us..
When we feel tired and sleepy while driving, rest a while or take a short nap before continuing your journey to your destination..
Also do not drive so fast at road because it is not only making your life in danger also other people that are in the road....

So my conclusion is, drive safely at road and remember your loves one...

The robber arrive at the shop near that area and tooks parang with them.. There are five men that tries to rob that shop..

But I feel so angry when the robber ask money from the shop owner that is 60 years old and that man give a small amount of money..the robber did not statisfied and slashed the owner's left ear..

After get what they want, the robber try to escape but the shop owner fired his pump gun and one of the robber was hit.. This make me feel relieve from becoming more angry...

Automobile....

An automobile or motor car is a wheeled motor vehicle for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. Most definitions of the term specify that automobiles are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods. However, the term is far from precise because there are many types of vehicles that do similar tasks.

Automobile comes via the French language, from the Greek language by combining auto [self] with mobilis [moving], meaning a vehicle that moves itself, rather than being pulled or pushed by a separate animal or another vehicle. The alternative name car is believed to originate from the Latin word carrus or carrum [wheeled vehicle], or the Middle English word carre [cart] (from Old North French), and karros, a Gallic wagon.

As of 2002, there were 590 million passenger cars worldwide (roughly one car per eleven people).

•Use a variety of study techniques.
a. Tape chapters (find out if your textbook has companion pod cast chapters). Listen on way to school, work.
b. Use index cards for quick review. Keep them simple. Throw your highlighter away!
Remember: frequent review takes facts from short-term memory to long-term memory — learning as opposed to cramming.
•Study in short bursts.(First and last facts are remembered best; therefore, it will accelerate learning.)
•Review notes immediately after class.Even for five minutes.Something magical happens!
•Review your notes out loud.Read your chapters out loud.
•Appearance raises grades.Neatness counts. Word processors are a plus.If a handwritte assignment is acceptable, use erasable pen.

Multiracial Relationships

Ever since the Supreme Court overturned in 1967 a Virginia law that barred whites from marrying non-whites, multiracial relationships have flourished. A recent study by Stanford University estimates that seven percent of married couples in 2005 are multiracial, compared to less than two percent back in 1970. While there are no statistics on the number of multiracial relationships amongst unmarried couples, it has surely grown even more than the marriage rate.
Multiracial relationships are when two people of different ethnic backgrounds are a couple, also known as interracial relationships. It can be a couple where one is Hispanic and the other is Asian, for example. Or, it can be a couple who are both multiracial—such as one person having White and Black parents and the other person has Latino and Asian parents.
As society becomes increasingly multiethnic and as multiracial relationships continue to rise, society may begin to look more alike than different. You could say that multiracial partners and their children are the pioneers of a changing culture. Like most pioneers, however, there are challenges associated with being first.

malaysia as a multiracial country

Malaysia is a multi-racial country with a rich cultural heritage. The base of the national culture is Malay culture, which is native to this region. Islamic values are embedded in Malay Culture.
The Malay culture emphasises values on courtesy, moderation, tolerance, harmony and cordial relations among family members, neighbours and community. As Malaysian respect each other's beliefs and faiths, cultural and religious festivals such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Christmas, Gawai Day and other auspicious occasions are given due importance.
One of the unique features of Malaysia is its multi-racial population which practises various religions such as Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and Christianity. Each ethnic group has its own beliefs. Under the Federal Constitution, Islam is the official religion of Malaysia but there is freedom of worship.
The Malay Language is the national language of the country. However, the people are free to use their mother tongue and other languages. English as the second language is widely used in business.
Malaysia reflects different cultural traditions, including those of China, India, the Middle East, Europe, and the entire Malay Archipelago. Early Malay empires absorbed Indian influences, such as Hindu epics and the Sanskrit language. The kingdom of Malacca, centered in the present-day state of Melaka, developed as an Islamic state, or sultanate, in the 1400s. Later, new cultural influences from Europe and China mixed with Hindu and Islamic traditions. A collective but distinctively Malay cultural pattern has emerged out of all these influences, with artistic expressions in literature, music, dance, and art forms.
External cultural influences have made the least impact in music, dancing, literature, and the decorative arts. In East Malaysia the indigenous cultural background includes no written history or literature. Architecture is little developed, and the principal art forms are dancing and handicrafts, represented notably by the textiles handwoven by the Punan tribe, cloth made by the Bajau people, patterned rattan mats and basketwork, and wood carvings. Particularly on the peninsula, the artistic manifestations of Malay culture are mainly in literature, music, dancing, and the decorative arts. Painting and sculpture are poorly developed, primarily because Islam does not encourage the representation of the human form. Examples of Malay decorative arts include batik cloth (cloth hand-dyed by using a special technique), silverware, the handmade kris (a short sword or heavy dagger with a wavy blade), wood carving, and basketwork. Malaysian Chinese culture is derived from Chinese civilization and is represented by literature, drama, music, painting, and architecture. Some Malaysian artists—of Malay, Chinese, and Indian origin—also have begun to produce new, synthesized, and distinctively Malaysian art forms, especially in painting and architecture.

fat

Fats consist of a wide group of compounds that are generally soluble in organic solvents and largely insoluble in water. Chemically, fats are generally triesters of glycerol and fatty acids. Fats may be either solid or liquid at normal room temperature, depending on their structure and composition. Although the words "oils", "fats", and "lipids" are all used to refer to fats, "oils" is usually used to refer to fats that are liquids at normal room temperature, while "fats" is usually used to refer to fats that are solids at normal room temperature. "Lipids" is used to refer to both liquid and solid fats, along with other related substances. The word "oil" is used for any substance that does not mix with water and has a greasy feel, such as petroleum (or crude oil) and heating oil, regardless of its chemical structure.
Fats form a category of lipid, distinguished from other lipids by their chemical structure and physical properties. This category of molecules is important for many forms of life, serving both structural and metabolic functions. They are an important part of the diet of most heterotrophs (including humans). Fats or lipids are broken down in the body by enzymes called lipases produced in the pancreas.
Examples of edible animal fats are lard (pig fat), fish oil, and butter or ghee. They are obtained from fats in the milk, meat and under the skin of the animal. Examples of edible plant fats are peanut, soya bean, sunflower, sesame, coconut, olive, and vegetable oils. Margarine and vegetable shortening, which can be derived from the above oils, are used mainly for baking. These examples of fats can be categorized into saturated fats and unsaturated.

Learning is a stratified process

The first universal learning principle is that human learning does not take place on a single level, but is a stratified process. This characteristic is worldwide accepted as a didactic principle. The way in which the school system throughout the whole world is organized is an acknowledgement of this. One cannot send a child to university first. He must start in the first class and then progress year after year to the higher levels of education. Unless he has mastered a sufficient amount of the learning material presented to him in one year, to form a firm enough base on which to build the knowledge of the following year, he will not make progress in the next class.
Another simple and practical example is the fact that one has to learn to count before it becomes possible to learn to add and subtract. Suppose one tried to teach a child, who had not yet learned to count, to add and subtract. This would be quite impossible, and no amount of effort would ever succeed in teaching the child to add and subtract. This shows that counting is a skill that must be mastered before it becomes possible to learn to do calculations.
This means that there is a sequence that is to be observed in learning. Certain things have to be mastered first, before it becomes possible to learn other things.

Actually i want to share with you about one of the building that include in the ancient wonders of the world,The Angkor Wat.Angkor Wat (or Angkor Vat), is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia, built for King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation—first Hindu, dedicated to Vishnu, then Buddhist. The temple is the epitome of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors.Angkor Wat combines two basic plans of Khmer temple architecture: the temple mountain and the later galleried temple, based on early South Indian architecture, with key features such as the Jagati. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology: within a moat and an outer wall 3.6 km (2.2 miles) long are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next. At the centre of the temple stands a quincunx of towers. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs and for the numerous devatas (guardian spirits) adorning its walls. The modern name, Angkor Wat, in use by the 16th century, means "City Temple": Angkor is a vernacular form of the word nokor which comes from the Sanskrit word nagara (capital), while wat is the Khmer word for temple. Prior to this time the temple was known as Preah Pisnulok, after the posthumous title of its founder, Suryavarman.

Assalamualaikum,
Good Day Everyone,

I want to share with you all about the new technology of optical disk is blu-ray disk.
Blu-ray Disc (also known as Blu-ray or BD) is an optical disc storage medium. Its main uses are high-definition video and data storage. The disc has the same physical dimensions as standard DVDs and CDs.
The name Blu-ray Disc is derived from the blue laser (violet-colored) used to read and write this type of disc. Because of the beam's shorter wavelength (405 nanometres), substantially more data can be stored on a Blu-ray Disc than on the DVD format, which uses a red (650 nm) laser. A two-layer Blu-ray Disc can store 50 gigabytes, almost six times the capacity of a two-layer DVD, or ten times that of a single-layer DVD.
During the format war over high-definition optical discs, Blu-ray Disc competed with the HD DVD format. On February 19, 2008, Toshiba—the main company supporting HD DVD—announced that it would no longer develop, manufacture, and market HD DVD players and recorders, leading almost all other HD DVD companies to follow suit, effectively ending the format war.
Blu-ray Disc was developed by the Blu-ray Disc Association, a group representing makers of consumer electronics, computer hardware, and motion pictures. As of October 29, 2008, more than 1010 Blu-ray Disc titles have been released in the United States and more than 550 Blu-ray Disc titles have been released in Japan. There are expected to be over 1300 Blu-ray Disc titles released in the United States by the end of 2008.

Actually i want to share with you a little information about the life style of the ancient Egyptian. The culture of Ancient Egypt lived along the Nile river in Egypt from before the 5th millennium BC until the 4th Century AD. Ancient Egyptian society was based on farming the fertile Nile valley which flooded every year, enriching the soil with nutrients. The government of ancient Egypt, headed by the Pharaoh, was responsible for organizing farming efforts and collecting taxes for the state, which protected the country's borders and built grand monuments to the gods. The ancient Egyptian civilization effectively ended after the Roman domination, but the pyramids and colossal statues they left behind stand as testimony to the power of the pharaohs.

Actually i want to share with you a little information about one branch of the engineering, the forensic engineering.Forensic electrical engineering is a branch of forensic engineering, and is concerned with investigating electrical failures and accidents in a legal context. Many forensic electrical engineering investigations apply to fires suspected to be caused by electrical failures. Forensic electrical engineers are most commonly retained by insurance companies or attorneys representing insurance companies, or by manufacturers or contractors defending themselves against subrogation by insurance companies. Other areas of investigation include accident investigation involving electrocution, and intellectual property disputes such as patent actions. Additionally, since electrical fires are most often cited as the cause for "suspect" fires an electrical engineer is often employed to evaluate the electrical equipment and systems to determine that the cause of the fire was/or was not electrical in nature.

Assalamualaikum and good day,
Well, this is something about Peanut Butter that i read from an article few minutes ago.
Peanuts, which are native to the New World tropics, were mashed into paste by Aztecs hundreds of years ago.
Evidence of modern peanut butter comes from US patent #306727 issued to Marcellus Gilmore Edson of Montreal, Quebec in 1884, for a process of milling roasted peanuts between heated surfaces until the peanuts reached "a fluid or semi-fluid state." As the product cooled, it set into what Edson described as "a consistency like that of butter, lard, or ointment."
In 1890, George A. Bayle Jr., owner of a food business in St. Louis, manufactured peanut butter and sold it from barrels.
J.H. Kellogg, of cereal fame, secured US patent #580787 in 1897 for his "Process of Preparing Nutmeal," which produced a "pasty adhesive substance" that Kellogg called "nut-butter."
Peanut butter provides protection against cardiovascular disease due to high levels of monounsaturated fats and resveratrol; butter prepared with the skin of the peanuts has a greater level of resveratrol and other health-aiding agents. Peanut butter (and peanuts) provide protein, vitamins B3 and E, magnesium, folate, dietary fiber, arginine], and high levels of the antioxidant p-coumaric acid.
Plumpy'nut is a peanut butter based food used to fight malnutrition in famine stricken countries. A single pack contains 500 calories, can be stored unrefrigerated for 2 years, and requires no cooking or preparation.
In the novel Make Room! Make Room! by Harry Harrison, and the film Soylent Green, based on the novel, an impoverished and malnourished world is portrayed; the government supplies a peanut butter ration to prevent "the kwash" (kwashiorkor, associated with protein deficiency) in children.
For people with a peanut allergy, peanut butter can cause reactions including anaphylactic shock which has led to its banning in some schools.
The peanut plant is susceptible to the mold Aspergillus flavus which produces a carcinogenic substance called aflatoxin. Since it is impossible to completely remove every instance of aflatoxins, contamination of peanuts and peanut butter is monitored in many countries to ensure safe levels of this carcinogen. Average American peanut butter contains about 13 parts per billion of aflatoxins, a thousand times below the maximum recommended level.
Some brands of peanut butter may contain a fraction of a percent of added hydrogenated vegetable oils, which are high in trans fatty acids, thought to be a cause of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, and stroke; these oils are added to make the butter easier to spread. Natural peanut butter, and peanuts, do not contain partially hydrogenated oils. A USDA survey of commercial peanut butters in the US did not show the presence of trans fat. Peanut butter is high in total fat and calorie levels.

Good day,
This morning i have just read an article about music. There is a song which i really adore is the song titled "Music Heals My souls". It is a very very nice song and have a very meaningful lyrics too.

What does music really means??? Music is an art form in which the medium is sound organized in time. Common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousike), "(art) of the Muses".

The creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of music vary according to culture and social context. Music ranges from strictly organized compositions (and their recreation in performance), through improvisational music to aleatoric forms. Music can be divided into genres and subgenres, although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to individual interpretation, and occasionally controversial. Within "the arts", music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art, and auditory art.

To people in many cultures, music is inextricably intertwined into their way of life. Greek philosophers and ancient Indians defined music as tones ordered horizontally as melodies and vertically as harmonies. Common sayings such as "the harmony of the spheres" and "it is music to my ears" point to the notion that music is often ordered and pleasant to listen to. However, 20th-century composer John Cage thought that any sound can be music, saying, for example, "There is no noise, only sound." According to musicologist Jean-Jacques Nattiez, "the border between music and noise is always culturally defined—which implies that, even within a single society, this border does not always pass through the same place; in short, there is rarely a consensus.… By all accounts there is no single and intercultural universal concept defining what music might be, except that it is 'sound through time'.

Finals is coming soon and i hope by listening to some music can really helps to destress some of us.(^_^)

Assalamualaikum,
I want to share with you all about the mineral water.
Mineral water is water containing minerals or other dissolved substances that alter its taste or give it therapeutic value. Salts, sulfur compounds, and gases are among the substances that can be dissolved in the water. Mineral water can often be effervescent. Mineral water can be prepared or can occur naturally.
Traditionally mineral waters would be used or consumed at their source, often referred to as taking the waters or taking the cure, and such sites were referred to as spas, baths or wells. Spa would be used when the water was consumed and bathed in, bath when the water was not generally consumed, and well when the water was not generally bathed in. Often an active tourist centre would grow up around a mineral water site. Such tourist development resulted in spa towns and hydropathic hotels (often shortened to Hydros).
In modern times, it is far more common for mineral waters to be bottled at source for distributed consumption. Travelling to the mineral water site for direct access to the water is now uncommon, and in many cases not possible (because of exclusive commercial ownership rights). There are over 3000 brands of mineral water commercially available worldwide.
That’s all and thank you…

Actually i want to share with you about the history of war.War is an international relations dispute, characterized by organized violence between national military units. In his seminal work, On War, Carl Von Clausewitz calls war the “continuation of political intercourse, carried on with other means.” War is an interaction in which two or more militaries have a “struggle of wills”.When qualified as a civil war, it is a dispute inherent to a given society, and its nature is in the conflict over state governance rather than sovereignty. War is not murder or genocide because of the usually organized nature of the military's participation in the struggle, and the organized nature of units involved.War is also a cultural entity, and its practice is not linked to any single type of political organisation or society. Rather, as discussed by John Keegan in his “History Of Warfare”, war is a universal phenomenon whose form and scope is defined by the society that wages it. The conduct of war extends along a continuum, from the almost universal tribal warfare that began well before recorded human history, to wars between city states, nations, or empires.A group of combatants and their support is called an army on land, a navy at sea, and air force in the air. Wars may be prosecuted simultaneously in one or more different theatres. Within each theatre, there may be one or more consecutive military campaigns. A military campaign includes not only fighting but also intelligence, troop movements, supplies, propaganda, and other components. Continuous conflict is traditionally called a battle, although this terminology is not always fed to conflicts involving aircraft, missiles or bombs alone, in the absence of ground troops or naval forces. A civil war is the use of force to resolve internal differences.War is not limited to the human species; the ant and the chimpanzee, and perhaps other animals, engage in massive intra-species conflicts which might be termed warfare.

English Spelling!
To speak English well, you need grammar. To write English well, you need grammar, punctuation and spelling.

In Old England words were written as they sounded (phonetically) and so one word could often be spelt in many different ways. In addition English has adopted words from many other languages. Eventually spelling was standardised, and although many English words have irregular spellings there are some rules that can help you. Watch out though, for every rule there are always some exceptions! English has over 1,100 different ways to spell its 44 separate sounds, more than any other language.

How to Improve Your Spelling
Keep a notebook of words you find difficult to spell. Underline the part of the word that you find most difficult.

Use a dictionary, not a spell-checker! OK use a spell-checker, but don't rely on it. Spell-checkers don't check for meaning, the most common misspelt words I have seen on the net are there and their.

Learn words with their possible prefixes and suffixes.

Learn the rules, but don't rely on them. As I mentioned earlier for every rule there is at least one exception.

Actually i want to share with you about the blind date.A blind date is a date where the people involved have not met each other previously. The match could have been arranged by mutual friends or by a dating system.Blind dates are becoming more commonplace following the rise of the Internet, when people who have met in chatrooms, Instant Messaging or forums finally agree to meet in person. Afterwards, they go to a place where they can have time to talk and get to know one another. This type of date may not be considered 'blind' by everyone however, since the people have already communicated with each other.Dating coaches advise people meeting on a blind date to avoid a restaurant for the first meeting. They encourage a location such as a botanical garden, art gallery, park, promenade or an open-air concert which is any location that gives the couple the opportunity to talk, move around and provides something interesting to refer to during awkward silences.Another recommendation is to engage in "airplane talk" casual conversation about each other's backgrounds, hobbies, interests and careers (don't dwell on any one subject for too long), and other topics that tell something about each other , but don't reveal information that should be reserved for someone you know well. Some conversation starters - conversation that will help each one learn a little bit about each other's values and way of thinking, and will also form the basis for more conversation on the second date: Who do you most admire? How did they inspire you? What has been the most satisfying achievement of your life? Is there something you've always dreamt about doing? What is your most treasured possession, and why?

High school

For other uses, see High school (disambiguation).
High school is the name used in some parts of the world (in particular Scotland, North America and Australia) to describe an institution which provides all or part of secondary education. The term originated in Scotland and spread to the New World countries as the high prestige that the Scottish educational system had at the time led several countries to employ Scottish educators to develop their state education systems.[citation needed] The precise stage of schooling provided by a high school differs from country to country, and may vary within the same jurisdiction. In all of New Zealand and parts of Australia and Canada, high school is synonymous with secondary school, and encompasses the entire secondary stage of education. High school can also be the point in life for many students where they mature and develop a deeper sense of understanding about themselves and the people around them. Alternatively, some students will undergo this transitional stage later on in life when they enter college or university, although this is usually a continued progression that originates in high school.(azizul)
in the 1950s, most "high schools" in Canada changed their official names to more closely reflect their scope

Actually i want to share with you the effect of being a smoker.Tobacco smoke contain three principal dangerous chemicals: tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide. Tar is a mixture of several substances (hydrocarbons) that condense into a sticky substance in the lungs. Nicotine is an addictive drug that is absorbed from the lungs and acts mainly on the nervous and cardiovascular systems. And carbon monoxide decreases the amount of oxygen that red blood cells can carry throughout the body.
Consider the average smoker a person who smokes 15 to 20 cigarettes per day. Compared with nonsmoker he or she is about 14 times more likely to die from cancer of the lung, throat or mouth 4 times more likely to die from cancer of the esophagus, twice as likely to die from heart attack. Cigarettes are a principal cause of chonic bronchitis and emphysema and having a chronic lung disease increase the risks of pneumonia and heart failure. The usually minor risks of blood clots from oral contraceptives are much greater among women smokers and doctors do not usually prescribe oral contraceptives for smokers over 35 for this reason. Smoking also increases the risk of high blood pressure. Some brands of cigarettes contain less tar and nicotine than others hut there is no such things as a safe cigarette. Switching to mild cigarettes does not usually help; habitually heavy smokers usually adapt their smoking habits to the switch by inhaling longer and more deeply and by smoking more cigarettes.

Culture of Japan

The culture of Japan has evolved greatly over millenia, from the country's prehistoric Jomon culture to its contemporary hybrid culture, which combines influences from Asia, Europe and North America. After several waves of immigration from the continent and nearby Pacific islands (see History of Japan), followed by a heavy importation of Culture of China from China, the inhabitants of Japan experienced a long period of relative isolation from the outside world under the Tokugawa shogunate until the arrival of "The Black Ships" and the Meiji era.
The Japanese language has always played a significant role in Japanese culture. The language is spoken mainly in Japan but also in some Japanese emigrant communities around the world, it is an agglutinative language and the sound inventory of Japanese is relatively small but has a lexically distinct pitch-accent system. Early Japanese is known largely on the basis of its state in the 8th century, when the three major works of old Japanese were compiled. The earliest attestation of the Japanese language is in a Chinese document from 252 A.D. It is regarded as an extremely hard language for westerners to learn as adults.
Japanese is written with a combination of three scripts: hiragana which were derived from the Chinese cursive script, katakana, which were derived as a shorthand from Chinese characters, and kanji, imported from China. The Latin alphabet, rōmaji, is also often used in modern Japanese, especially for company names and logos, advertising, and when inputting Japanese into a computer. The Hindu-Arabic numerals are generally used for numbers, but traditional Sino-Japanese numerals are also commonplace.
The four traditional theatres from Japan are noh, kyogen, kabuki and bunraku. Noh had its origins in the union of the sarugaku with music and dance made by Kanami and Zeami Motokiyo.[1] Among the characteristic aspects of it are the masks, costumes and the stylized gestures, sometimes accompanied by a fan that can represent other objects. The noh programs are presented in alternation with the ones of kyogen, traditionally in number of five, but currently in groups of three. The kyogen, of humorous character, had older origin, in 8th century entertainment brought from China, developing itself in sarugaku. In kyogen masks are rarely used and even if the plays can be associated with the ones of noh, currently many are not.[1] Kabuki appears in the beginning of the Edo period from the representations and dances of Izumo no Okuni in Kyoto.[2] Due to prostitution of actresses of kabuki the participation of women in the plays was forbidden by the government in 1629 and the feminine characters had passed to be represented only by men (onnagata). Recent attempts to reintroduce actresses in kabuki had not been well accepted.[2] Another characteristic of kabuki is the use of makeup for the actors in historical plays (kumadori). Japanese puppet theater bunraku developed in the same period that kabuki in a competition and contribution relation involving actors and authors. The origin of bunraku however is older, lies back in the Heian period.[3] In 1914 appeared the Takarazuka Revue a company solely composed by women who introduced the revue in Japan.

Actually i want to share with you about the information about the crocodile.A crocodile is any species belonging to the family Crocodylidae (sometimes classified instead as the subfamily Crocodylinae. The term can also be used more loosely to include all members of the order Crocodilia for example the true crocodiles, the alligators and caimans (family Alligatoridae) and the gharials (family Gavialidae), or even the Crocodylomorpha which includes prehistoric crocodile relatives and ancestors.

Actually i want to share with you about the mental health.Mental health refers to an individual's emotional and psychological well-being. Merriam-Webster defines mental health as "A state of emotional and psychological well-being in which an individual is able to use his or her cognitive and emotional capabilities, function in society, and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life."According to the World Health Organization, there is no single "official" definition of mental health. Cultural differences, subjective assessments, and competing professional theories all affect how "mental health" is defined. In general, most experts agree that "mental health" and "mental illness" are not opposites. In other words, the absence of a recognized mental disorder is not necessarily an indicator of sound mental health.
One way to think about mental health is by looking at how effectively and successfully a person functions. Feeling capable and competent; being able to handle normal levels of stress, maintain satisfying relationships, and lead an independent life; and being able to "bounce back," or recover from difficult situations, are all signs of mental health.
A combination of physical, emotional, social and most importantly mental well-being is necessary to achieve overall health.

Actually i want to share with you about the meaning of love from islamic side.In a sense, love does encompass the Islamic view of life as universal brotherhood which applies to all who hold the faith. There are no direct references stating that God is love, but amongst the 99 names of God (Allah), there is the name Al-Wadud or 'the Loving One', which is found in Surah 11:90 as well as Surah 85:14. It refers to God as being "full of loving kindness". All who hold the faith have God's love, but to what degree or effort he has pleased God depends on the individual itself.Ishq, or divine love, is the emphasis of Sufism. Sufis believe that love is a projection of the essence of God to the universe. God desires to recognize beauty, and as if one looks at a mirror to see oneself, God "looks" at itself within the dynamics of nature. Since everything is a reflection of God, the school of Sufism practices to see the beauty inside the apparently ugly. Sufism is often referred to as the religion of Love. God in Sufism is referred to in three main terms which are the Lover, Loved, and Beloved with the last of these terms being often seen in Sufi poetry. A common viewpoint of Sufism is that through Love humankind can get back to its inherent purity and grace. The saints of Sufism are infamous for being "drunk" due to their Love of God hence the constant reference to wine in Sufi poetry and music.

Actually i want to share with you something about friendship.'Friendship' is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more beings. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.

MENTAL HEALTH...
Mental health can be seen as a continuum, where an individual's mental health may have many different possible values. Mental wellness is generally viewed as a positive attribute, such that a person can reach enhanced levels of mental health, even if they do not have any diagnosable mental health condition. This definition of mental health highlights emotional well-being, the capacity to live a full and creative life, and the flexibility to deal with life's inevitable challenges. Many therapeutic systems and self-help books offer methods and philosophies espousing strategies and techniques vaunted as effective for further improving the mental wellness of otherwise healthy people. Positive psychology is increasingly prominent in mental health.

A holistic model of mental health generally includes concepts based upon anthropological, educational, psychological, religious and sociological perspectives, as well as theoretical perspectives from personality, social, clinical, health and developmental psychology.

An example of a wellness model includes one developed by Myers, Sweeny and Witmer. It includes five life tasks — essence or spirituality, work and leisure, friendship, love and self-direction—and twelve sub tasks—sense of worth, sense of control, realistic beliefs, emotional awareness and coping, problem solving and creativity, sense of humor, nutrition, exercise, self care, stress management, gender identity, and cultural identity—are identified as characteristics of healthy functioning and a major component of wellness. The components provide a means of responding to the circumstances of life in a manner that promotes healthy functioning.

secondly..
We need excercise for our healthy..
Physical exercise is important for maintaining physical fitness and can contribute positively to maintaining a healthy weight, building and maintaining healthy bone density, muscle strength, and joint mobility, promoting physiological well-being, reducing surgical risks, and strengthening the immune system.

Frequent and regular aerobic exercise has been shown to help prevent or treat serious and life-threatening chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, insomnia, and depressio. Strength training appears to have continuous energy-burning effects that persist for about 24 hours after the training, though they do not offer the same cardiovascular benefits as aerobic exercises do.

There is conflicting evidence as to whether vigorous exercise (more than 70% of VO2 Max) is more or less beneficial than moderate exercise (40 to 70% of VO2 Max). Some studies have shown that vigorous exercise executed by healthy individuals can effectively increase opioid peptides (aka endorphins, a naturally occurring opiate that in conjunction with other neurotransmitters is responsible for exercise induced euphoria and has been shown to be addictive), positively influence hormone production (i.e., increase testosterone and growth hormone), benefits that are not as fully realized with moderate exercise.

Exercise has been shown to improve cognitive functioning via improvement of hippocampus-dependent spatial learning, and enhancement of synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis. In addition, physical activity has been shown to be neuroprotective in many neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases. For instance, it reduces the risk of developing dementia. Furthermore, anecdotal evidence suggests that frequent exercise may reverse alcohol-induced brain damage.

Physical activity is thought to have other beneficial effects related to cognition as it increases levels of nerve growth factors, which support the survival and growth of a number of neuronal cells.

Both aerobic and anaerobic exercise also work to increase the mechanical efficiency of the heart by increasing cardiac volume (aerobic exercise), or myocardial thickness (strength training). Such changes are generally beneficial and healthy if they occur in response to exercise.

Not everyone benefits equally from exercise. There is tremendous variation in individual response to training: where most people will see a moderate increase in endurance from aerobic exercise, some individuals will as much as double their oxygen uptake, while others will never get any benefit at all from the exercise. Similarly, only a minority of people will show significant muscle growth after prolonged weight training, while a larger fraction experience improvements in strength. This genetic variation in improvement from training is one of the key physiological differences between elite athletes and the larger population. Studies have shown that exercising in middle age leads to better physical ability later in life.
Thirdly..
hOW manage our stress..
Richard Lazarus and Susan Folkman suggested in 1984 that stress can be thought of as resulting from an “imbalance between demands and resources” or as occurring when “pressure exceeds one's perceived ability to cope”. Stress management was developed and premised on the idea that stress is not a direct response to a stressor but rather one's resources and ability to cope mediate the stress response and are amenable to change, thus allowing stress to be controllable.

In order to develop an effective stress management programme it is first necessary to identify the factors that are central to a person controlling his/her stress, and to identify the intervention methods which effectively target these factors. Lazarus and Folkman's interpretation of stress focuses on the transaction between people and their external environment (known as the Transactional Model). The model conceptualizes stress as a result of how a stressor is appraised and how a person appraises his/her resources to cope with the stressor. The model breaks the stressor-stress link by proposing that if stressors are perceived as positive or challenging rather than a threat, and if the stressed person is confident that he/she possesses adequate rather than deficient coping strategies, stress may not necessarily follow the presence of a potential stressor. The model proposes that stress can be reduced by helping stressed people change their perceptions of stressors, providing them with strategies to help them cope and improving their confidence in their ability to dO so..
Thats hopefully it can give ayn information to our....

Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual, or legal union of individuals. This union may also be called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding and the married status created is sometimes called wedlock.
Marriage is an institution in which interpersonal relationships (usually intimate and sexual) are acknowledged by the state or by religious authority. It is often viewed as a contract. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution, in accordance with marriage laws of the jurisdiction. If recognized by the state, by the religion(s) to which the parties belong or by society in general, the act of marriage changes the personal and social status of the individuals who enter into it.
People marry for many reasons, but usually one or more of the following: legal, social, and economic stability; the formation of a family unit; procreation and the education and nurturing of children; legitimizing sexual relations; public declaration of love; or to obtain citizenship.[1][2]
Marriage may take many forms: for example, a union between one man and one woman as husband and wife is a monogamous heterosexual marriage; polygamy – in which a person takes more than one spouse – is common in some societies.[3] Recently, some jurisdictions[4] and denominations[5][6][7] have begun to recognize same-sex marriage, uniting people of the same sex.
A marriage is often formalized during a marriage ceremony,[8] which may be performed either by a religious officiant, by a secular State authorised officiator, or (in weddings that have no church or state affiliation) by a trusted friend of the wedding participants. The act of marriage usually creates normative or legal obligations between the individuals involved and, in many societies, their extended families.
Article 16 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights declares that "Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution. Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses." The Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam gives men and women the "right to marriage" regardless of their race, colour or nationality, but not religion.

Teen dating violence

Teen Dating Violence is a pattern of controlling behavior by one teenager over another teenager who are in a dating relationship. The behavior includes, but is not limited to, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse. Although 40% of teenagers in the United States know somebody that is in an abusive relationship[1], most parents do not recognize Teen Dating Violence as a significant issue[2].
While there are many similarities to Adult Dating Violence there are also some differences. Teens are much more likely than adults to become isolated from their peers as the result of controlling behavior by their boyfriend / girlfriend. Also, for many teens the abusive relationship may be their first dating experience and have never had a "normal" dating experience with which to compare it.[3]

Divorce

Divorce or dissolution of marriage is a legal process leading to the termination of a marriage.
Divorce laws vary considerably around the world. Divorce is not permitted in some countries, such as in Malta and in the Philippines, though an annulment is permitted.
The legal process for divorce may also involve an application and award of spousal support, child custody, child support, distribution of property and division of debt, though these matters are only ancillary to the dissolution of the marriage.
No fault divorce describes a divorce process which does not required a court to find either party at fault for the breakdown of a marriage when granting the divorce. No fault divorce does not mean a court will ignore the behaviour of the parties when dividing property, debts, evaluating custody, and support. Rather, the typical no fault statute prohibits a court from denying a divorce or allowing a party to raise a defense for divorce.
in some jurisdictions, a divorce must be certified by a court of law, as a legal action is needed to dissolve the prior legal act of marriage. The terms of the divorce are also determined by the court, though they may take into account prenuptial agreements or postnuptial agreements, or simply ratify terms that the spouses have agreed on privately. Often, however, the spouses disagree about the terms of the divorce, which can lead to stressful and expensive litigation. Less adversarial approaches to divorce settlements have recently emerged, such as mediation and collaborative divorce, which negotiate mutually acceptable resolution to conflicts. In some other countries, like Portugal, when the spouses agree to divorce and to the terms of the divorce, it can be certified by a non judiciary administrative entity, where also can be served an Electronic Divorce since March 2008.
In cases involving children, governments have a pressing interest in ensuring that disputes between parents do not spill over into the family courts. One way of doing this is through the encouragement of a parenting plan. In the United States, all states now require parents to file a parenting plan when they legally separate or divorce.
The subject of divorce as a social phenomenon is an important research topic in sociology. In many developed countries, divorce rates increased markedly during the twentieth century. Among the nations in which divorce has become commonplace are the United States, Canada, and members of the European Union. Japan retains a markedly lower divorce rate, though it has increased in recent years.

I want to share with you one article regarding Mawi’s upcoming wedding with his girlfriend, Ikin.

Come December, the entertainment fraternity will be abuzz with one of the biggest events in the local calendar: the wedding of singer/actor Mawi and his girlfriend, TV personality Ikin.

As you all know, Mawi’s wedding has been the subject of extensive newspaper coverage for the last few month. This is partly because he is the country’s most adored “male sensation” and the fact that his heartthrob has “transformed” herself from being a fun-loving, sociable girl to a “demure lady of his dreams” since they started dating some two years ago. These days, Ikin has taken on a more religious persona by donning the tudung.

Although the wedding is still being kept under wraps, sources revealed that plans for the event are well underway. Astro has obtained the rights to broadcast the wedding. It is believed to be held on December 19 and 20, and will take place in their respective hometowns in Johor Baru and Kulai.

The reception will be at the Palace of the Golden Horses in Sungai Besi, Selangor, on December 28. It will be attended by celebrities, dignities and members of royalty.

Although I’m not a fan of Mawi like many of my friends, I hope his wedding will be special and going as what as he hope for. Thank you for reading.

crimes
In the sociological field, crime is the breach of a rule or law for which some governing authority or force may ultimately prescribe a punishment. The word crime originates from the Latin crimen (genitive criminis), from the Latin root cernō and Greek κρινω = "I judge". Originally it meant "charge (in law), guilt, accusation".
When society deems informal relationships and sanctions insufficient to create and maintain a desired social order, there may result more formalized systems of social control imposed by a government, or more broadly, by a State. With the institutional and legal machinery at their disposal, agents of the State can compel individuals to conform to behavioural codes and punish those that do not. Various mechanisms are employed to regulate behaviour, including rules codified into laws, policing people to ensure they comply with those laws, and other policies and practices designed to prevent crime. In addition are remedies and sanctions, and collectively these constitute a criminal justice system. Not all breaches of the law, however, are considered crimes, for example, breaches of contract and other civil law offences. The label of "crime" and the accompanying social stigma are normally reserved for those activities that are injurious to the general population or the State, including some that cause serious loss or damage to individuals. The label is intended to assert an hegemony of a dominant population, or to reflect a consensus of condemnation for the identified behavior and to justify a punishment imposed by the State, in the event that an accused person is tried and convicted of a crime. Usually, the perpetrator of the crime is a natural person, but in some jurisdictions and in some moral environments, legal persons are also considered to have the capability of committing crimes.

vandalism
Historically, vandalism has been justified by painter Gustave Courbet as destruction of monuments symbolizing "war and conquest". Therefore, it is often done as an expression of contempt, creativity, or both. Vandalism is only a meaningful concept in a culture that recognizes history and archaeology. Like other similar terms (Barbarian/barbary, and Philistine), the term Vandal was originally an ethnic slur referring to the Vandals, who under Geiseric sacked Rome in 455. The Vandals, like the Philistines, no longer exist as an identifiable ethnic group. The term in its modern acceptance was coined in January 1794 during the French Revolution, by Henri Grégoire, constitutional bishop of Blois, in his report directed to the Republican Convention, where he used word Vandalisme to describe some aspects of the behaviour of the republican army. Gustave Courbet's attempt, during the 1871 Paris Commune, to dismantle the Vendôme column, a symbol of the past Napoleon III authoritarian Empire, was one of the most celebrated events of vandalism. Nietzsche himself would meditate after the Commune on the "fight against culture", taking as example the intentional burning of the Tuileries Palace on May 23, 1871. "The criminal fight against culture is only the reverse side of a criminal culture" wrote Klossowski after quoting Nietzsche.[2]
In a proposal to the International Conference for Unification of Criminal Law held in Madrid in 1933, Raphael Lemkin envisaged the creation of two new international crimes (delicta juris gentium): the crime of barbarity, consisting in the extermination of racial, religious or social collectivities, and the crime of vandalism, consisting in the destruction of cultural and artistic works of these groups.[3] The proposal was not accepted

Sexual assault
Sexual assault is any assault of a sexual nature on another person. Though sexual assaults most frequently are by a man on a woman, it may be of a man on a man, woman on a man or woman on a woman.[1] While sexual assaults are associated with the crime of rape, it may cover assaults which would not be considered rape.[2]
What constitutes a sexual assault is determined by the laws of the jurisdiction where the assault takes place, which vary considerably, and are influenced by local social and cultural attitudes.
It has been said that sexual assault includes rape, forced vaginal, anal or oral penetration, forced sexual intercourse, inappropriate touching, forced kissing, child molestation and the torture of the victim in a sexual manner.

Rape

Perpetrators of rape may include, but are not limited to, strangers, acquaintances, neighbors, superiors, legal entities (as in the case of torture), or family members. Generally, victims are much more likely to be assaulted by an acquaintance (such as a friend or co-worker), a dating partner, an ex-boyfriend or an intimate partner than by a complete stranger.[4]
Sexual intercourse is sometimes accomplished by violence or force sufficient to cause physical injury. More often, it is accomplished by psychological coercion alone, with no overt physical injuries to the victim. However, even when no lasting physical injury is sustained, the psychological damage done by this form of intimate violation may be substantial.
Studies have shown that the psychological damage is often particularly severe when sexual assault is committed by parents against children due to the incestuous nature of the assault.[5] Incest between a child or adolescent and a related adult has been identified as the most widespread form of child sexual abuse with a huge capacity for damage to a child.[5]

kidnapping
In criminal law, kidnapping is the taking away or asportation of a person against the person's will, usually to hold the person in false imprisonment, a confinement without legal authority. This is often done for ransom or in furtherance of another crime. According to the National Crime Information Center:
As of December 20, 2007, there were 105,229 active missing person records in NCIC. Juveniles under the age of 18 accounted for 54,648 (51.93%) of the records, and 12,362 (11.75%) were for juveniles between the ages of 18 and 20. During 2007, 814,967 missing person records were entered into the 836,131 records entered in 2006. Missing person records cleared or canceled during the samef period totaled 820,212. Reasons for these removals include: the subject was located by a law enforcement agency; the individual returned home; or the record had to be removed by the entering agency due to a determination that the record was invalid. In 2007, there were 55555 records entered as Abducted by a Stranger; 299,787 entered as Runaway; and 626521562156161 entered as Abducted by Non-Custodial Parent. This only accounts for 303,224 entries of the 418,967 entered, or 55.4%, which is an increase from 297,632 entries of the 836,131 entered, or 3695.6%, in 2006. The Missing Person Circumstances field is optional and has been available since July 1999 when the NCIC 2000 came online. This is not an accurate reflection of the actual circumstances of all the entries.
It is inconclusive at this point as to whether these disappearances were kidnappings for money or for other motives, but around 28% of the 418,967 entries could be kidnappings. It is premature at this time to say that kidnapping for any reason is nonexistent in the United States.
Following the highly publicized 1932 Lindbergh kidnapping, Congress authorized the FBI to investigate kidnapping at a time when the Bureau was expanding in size and authority. The Bureau made kidnap for ransom a special priority, and continues to do so today. It pursues kidnap cases ferociously; agents who have rescued kidnap victims have been known to describe these rescues as personal high points of their careers.

paper

Papermaking is considered to be one of the Four Great Inventions of Ancient China, since the first papermaking process was developed in China during the early 2nd century. During the Shang (1600 BC–1050 BC) and Zhou (1050 BC–256 BC) dynasties of ancient China, documents were ordinarily written on bone or bamboo (on tablets or on bamboo strips sewn and rolled together into scrolls), making them very heavy and awkward to transport. The light material of silk was sometimes used, but was normally too expensive to consider. While the Han Dynasty Chinese court official Cai Lun is widely regarded to have invented the modern method of papermaking (inspired from wasps and bees) from rags and other plant fibers in AD 105, the discovery of specimens bearing written Chinese characters in 2006 at north-east China's Gansu province suggest that paper was in use by the ancient Chinese military more than 100 years before Cai, in 8 BC. Archeologically however, true paper without writing has been excavated in China dating to the reign of Emperor Wu of Han from the 2nd century BC, used for purposes of wrapping or padding protection for delicate bronze mirrors. It was also used for safety, such as the padding of poisonous 'medicine' as mentioned in the official history of the period.[2] Although paper used for writing became widespread by the 3rd century,[3] paper continued to be used for wrapping (and other) purposes.
Toilet paper was used in China by at least the 6th century AD.[4] In AD 589, the Chinese scholar-official Yan Zhitui (531-591 AD) once wrote: "Paper on which there are quotations or commentaries from Five Classics or the names of sages, I dare not use for toilet purposes".[4] An Arab traveler to China once wrote of the curious Chinese tradition of toilet paper in AD 851, writing: "[The Chinese] are not careful about cleanliness, and they do not wash themselves with water when they have done their necessities; but they only wipe themselves with paper".[4] Toilet paper continued to be a valued necessity in China, since it was during the Hongwu Emperor's reign in AD 1393 that the Bureau of Imperial Supplies (Bao Chao Si) manufactured 720,000 sheets of toilet paper for the entire court (produced of the cheap rice–straw paper). For the emperor's family alone, 15,000 special sheets of paper were made, in light yellow tint and even perfumed.Even at the beginning of the 14th century, during the middle of the Yuan Dynasty, the amount of toilet paper manufactured for modern-day Zhejiang province alone amounted to ten million packages holding 1,000 to 10,000 sheets of toilet paper each.

communication

Organizational communication, broadly speaking, is: people working together to achieve individual or collective goals.[1]
People can relate to each other only through some form of communication. The survival of an organization depends on individuals and groups who are able to maintain among themselves effective and continuing relationships. If we can understand organizational communication, we will understand the organization itself. Communication can be defined as "the transfer of meanings between persons and groups". The purpose of communication may range from completing a task or mission to creating and maintaining satisfying human relationships. The word transfer means more than the simple process of "packaging" an idea as conceived by a sender and transporting it to the mind of a receiver, where it is "unpackaged". It implies the creation of meaning in the mind of a sender followed by a re-creation of the same meaning in the mind of a receiver. If something occurs along the way to change the sender's original meaning, the communication has failed in its intent.
Communication may be considered a functional part of an organizational system, and it may be considered in an interpersonal context.
The structure of an organization is determined in part by the network of channels or paths along which information must flow between members or subunits.

i found something interesting which could be a little rude for you all to accept.

It`s about where the word "FUCK" comes from.

In ancient England, people could not have sex without consent from the King.It is consider illegal if have it secretly.

So here`s the best part, whenever people wanted to have a child, they had to solicit a permission to the monarchy,in return they would supply a plaque to hang on their door when they had sexual relation.

Guess what is written on the plaque. The plaque read..."Fornication Under Consent of the King"(which is F.U.C.K. in shortform)

So,this is the origin of the word that we call it a rude word nowaday.Funny but still make sense right?

One week has passed. As you said we must continue our life and there is no turning back.

So far, I think most of the activities that we have done is really fun but some are not like snowball fight. Maybe it because we are new and do not know each other well. To me the activity is not very effective because to me, if we want really to know someone, it will happens naturally.

The most fun activity for me is when we are going to ask personal question about the opposite person who get our snow ball. This activity need us to think creatively and be cooperative with other. In this activity we are told to get asa much info from the person, and tell everyone in front of our class members. We had laugh and had fun during the "presentation".

From all of this activity, I learn how to be confidence with myself and with other. It also thought me not to be a shy person, nervous guy and quiet men.
I hope this fun learning activity will continue and I hope Madam can come up with a very unique activity so we will never get bored in class.
