Assalamualaikum and goo day to all. Our last task been given to make the pinal project presentation which my group consists of 5members including me. We are going to present a product called Calculator which is one of the important instrument in Engineering.
Our calculator is Casio fx-570ms which is commonly been used broadly in the secondary school and normally been used by University Student to help in calculating any calculated question and problem arise and broadly been used by Engineering student.
It have a lot of function and it also include one that can be used to calculate any engineering field related subject. Calculator also is one of the important in calculating the mathematical equation and hence any result of the calculation affect the structure in the engineering structure analysis and helps the Engineer to design safe and strong structure.
This calculator consists of three main part. There are button, battery and casing/cover. All of this main parts is important in order to ensure that the calculator benefit can be used without any hassle.
That's all. My part in presentation is the Introduction.

Last assessment, oh nooooo..!!!!!! make do many types to finished that assessment but I was very happy and enjoy because my group was very co-operate to each other.
After disuses to my group member around 2 days, we choose the CALCULATOR Casio fx-570ms for my group product because the thing was familiar foe engineering student. The calculator we separate to the three parts. Cover, battery and button. Cover to make sure the button into the safety and cover the calculator screen. After that, the battery used from DC 1.5 volt LR44 X 1 and 5 years life. The battery to make sure the button make be function to receive any calculation.
From that, we can conclude calculator was very important thing to engineering students and they cannot life without calculator..hihiihhi..

for this final project, my group is going to exhibit casio fx 570 with is one of the popular calculator use by student and teacher. however i'm not gonna to explain all about this calculator, i will just explain about the first main part. it is the cover.
cover use to cover the screen and the button of calculator so it will avoid the screen scratch. beside that on the cover we will see there are instruction to use unit conversion and scientific constant. it can help user to calculate more easy and will get effective answer too. this is at inner cover. for outer cover user can display their name and anything to help them when this calculator lose. with a name and simple information about this people who found this they will return it to the owner. how to connect this cover to the calculator? we need to connect it with the calculator and pull it until the cover close the whole button and screen.

Finally...come to the last blogging..(hoestly tell that..i like blogging so feel a bit sad cant post blog anymore).Alright...let me introduce about my group final project.My group had chose "BACKHOE" as our product presentation.It might become an questionairre y our group choose this heavy vehichle as our product.This is because "Backnoe " had actually play an important role in buidling a house or even a skycrapper.The construction work is impossible to be complete on time without the used of Backhoe as a main function to dig soil ,lifting up the materials ,hauling soil,debris and etc.

First, let me introduce my group members for presentation this Tuesday…. Jong Xia Xin (introduction & conclusion) , Zhang Hui (main part 1) , & Loh Suat Wen (main part 3). In this final project, our group chooses "BACKHOE" as our product of presentation
Backhoe cab is one off the important part of backhoe. It is squared in shaped where surrounded with tinted glass. It used for operator to control everything during the digging or excavating process. The cab glass consisting 4 side window which are windshield (front window), front side window (left and right hand side), rear side window, and also rear window.
However, the backhoe cab has it functions as to protect the operator . The cab can prevented operator from inhale the dust from the side work which endanger to human being. Beside that, it can protect the operator from bad weather which mean hot weather during running day. It also functioning as air-conditioner to keep cool to the operator during the work.
Moreover, there has a tractor seat inside the backhoe cab with the different measurement of it. It made of mouided of durable plastic composite and comfort pad insert to ensure the tractor seat worit rust or crack. It also can be adjustable to 5 angle base and sliding track allow for flexible installation. Most importantly is, all mobilization dipper/stick and bucket are controlled by the operator inside the backhoe cab. So indirectly, backhoe cab also play an important role.

This is our last meeting in blogger...huhuhuhu
I feel so satisfied with our group product exhibition earlier. Although our product is quiet difficult for us as first year student, but our group try as best as we could in order to present our product. The product that we are presenting earlier is ‘DUMPY LEVEL’.
My part in this presentation is the conclusion.In this part, i have conclude a little bit about how to use this ‘DUMPY LEVEL’.
First of all, we have to ensure the first main part (TRIPOD LEVEL) are set up firmly. The tripod points must be well into the ground to ensure the dumpy level in balance condition, so that the reading of ground level will be correctly.
Then, the dumpy level must be put upper the tripod level and retighten the handle, so that it will not moving. The 3 levelling screw of 5-305W are turned one at a time until the bubble is centered within the black indicator circle.
Next, aim the telescope at the object and look trough it for focus on the cross hair. Rotate the instrument until the cross hairs are positioned on or near the target. Make final setting with the tangent screw to bring the cross hair exactly on point.Check , recheck and adjustment is necessary in order to get the best reading.

For the our last project, our group choose ‘DUMPY LEVEL ‘ as the product that related to the our field as the ‘CIVIL ENGINEERING’ student...hehe, It is quite difficult for me and also our group members to know more details about it, but we try to understand....it is because, we not study yet about this subject now....but, we also can learn it at the next semester in the subject engineering surveying...we also very happy because before we learn it, we already know little bit about the ‘DUMPY LEVEL’....
I will be explain about the third main part, which is THREE LEVELLING SCREW. It has three screw that has rotated 360° and located at the bottom of the instrument. Three levelling screw is used to level the instrument. The self- levelling level is equipped with a small bull’s eye level. The levelling screw which sit on a triangular footplate.
To used it, we only can rotated only one screw at one times. It also used to centre, as much as possible the bubble of the bull’s eye level. The line of sight automatically becomes horizontal and remains horizontal as long as the bubble remains approximately centred. The levelling screw varies in height up to 14 until 18 ft. It also has three pieces which may be drawn out if necessary...

my grup are going present a SAFETY HELMET..why we choose safety helmet bcoz safety helmet most popular used in engineering field especially in civil engineering. There are many types of safety helmet but the most popular and best seller is safety helmet slide lock.
I’m going to present the introduction of safety helmet..A safety helmet is required in almost every industry where there is a risk of being injured by falling objects to protect our head. Safety helmet is fixed with slide lock, a patented locking system. It easily adjustable, comfortable which is specially designed together with 8 point moulded shock adsorbing suspension system to provide crown clearance to absorb impact energy. The colour of safety helmet is white but for the workers is yellow. It also builds with elastic chin strap and sweatband. There are 4 main parts cap, lock, chin strap and webbing harness.

A dumpy level is an optical instrument used in surveying and building to transfer and measure the exact differences between the level of two or more position on the ground.
The dumpy level Model FA22 is set up on a tripod and depending on the type,either rounghly or accurately set to a leveled condition using levelling screw.
The dumpy level Model FA22 is about 1.6 kg,180 mm length and 1' 30' field of view.There are four main part of dumpy level which are tripod stand,tangent screw,three levelling screw and eyepiece.

my task in that project is about the conclusion of 'safety helmet'.At the exhibition i will explain about how part work together..hoho
The helmet is made to absorb the energy of an impact by partial destruction or damage to the shell or harness and even though such damage may not be readily apparent and any helmet subjected to servere impact should be replaced.
First of all,install the suspension headgear to the helmet by inserting the six anchorages into their respective suspension slot.Then, push the anchorage into suspension slot until it locks firmly into it.The helmet must be worn with peak facing forward.For an adequate protection, the helmet must fit or adjusted to the size of the user head on the back of the harness and ensure comfortable fit around the crown of the head.To change the wearing height, just change holder on the hardness and ensure a comfortable on your head.And the last one is chin strap.Install the helmet by inserting into chin strap attachment hole.Adjust the buckle until you feel comfortable..

For this final project my group will exhibit the DUMPY LEVEL MODEL FA22. A dumpy level, builder's auto level, leveling instrument or automatic level is an optical instrument used in surveying and building to transfer, measure, or set horizontal levels.
For this presentation im going to present the 4th main part of dumpy which is telescope and eyepiece. This dumpy level has a telescope that is hinged to one side to the instrument’s axis. It can focus the shortest distance of 16m. This telescope measures 18cm long and has a removable brass lens cap to protect its 27mm diameter objective lens. This instrument also can give a bright contrasting upright image and horizontal image.
In addition, it provides a sharp image magnified till 24x. this means that the object sighted appears 24x closer than it would with naked eyes. To focus on an object, the gun sight is used for preliminary sighting. Then, look through the eyepiece and we can see cross hairs or grid lines. To get a sharper image, rotate the eyepiece slowly until the blurry image appears sharp and clear.

For this final project, my group is going to exhibit one of the surveying instrument that is dumpy level and i'm going to explain about the 1st main part that is surveying tripod or easily called tripod stand.my group consist of 6 gorjes girl that is me, hazwani,azura,ain farhana,hafifah and lastly, maizura.
a surveyor's tripod is a device used to support any one of a number of surveying instruments such as theodolites,
total stations, levels or
transits. this tripod stands hav 3 legs that are attached to the head with adjustable screws that are usually kept tight. this can allow the legs to be moved with a bit of resistance.
the legs are two part, with the lower part capable of telescoping to adjust the length of the leg to suit the terrain.besides that, Aluminum
or steel slip joints with a tightening screw are at the
bottom of the upper leg to hold the bottom part in place
and fix the length. other than dat,a shoulder strap is often affixed to the tripod to allow for ease of carrying the equipment
over areas to be surveyed.
next, the tripod are ready to be used in the location where it is needed. Then, the surveyor will press down on the legs' platforms to securely anchor the legs in soil. Leg lengths are adjusted to bring the tripod head to a convenient height and make it roughly level.
Once the tripod is positioned and secure, the dumpy level is placed on the head.
lastly, the dumpy level are stabilized by adjusting the tangent screws so that the cross hair line can be clearly seen.
next,the 2nd main part is tangent screws.

when talking about final project exhibition, i feel so nervous and very uneasy. but i will try to do my best for myself and my group. My group will do the presentation on this coming 29 october 2009..
Our group had choose the product that is hacksaw. I will talk about steel frame, the second main part.
the frame is designed to fit with the blade. it is also to hold and give support to the blade during cutting materials such as metals and bones. The blade should be keep rigid and the frame properly aligned to ensure the hacksaw work properly. The frame is attached to the handle for the maximal strength. that's all about the steel frame of hacksaw.
i hope our presentation will end successfully.

I’m going to explain about adjustable scalar wrench. You know it can be opened the jaw when use it.
This adjustable can use when we want to turn nuts, bolts, pipe and so on. This thing to tight the jaw when to fix the bolt or something and move the jaw with length which we want to. Without adjustable scalar wrench, the jaw cannot move and use it.

Here,let me story you about what is DUMPY LEVEL as i have mention it before.
Dumpy level is a type of instrument that can determine the ground level- as a simple.
This dumpy level is not so big.For those who did not come to our exhibition, just deal with your imagination to create the figure of the dumpy level.This product is not gonna cost you a weigh also when you try to hold it.But be MOST careful of it.Because when you drop it, 10thousand bill will come knocking at your door.
Speaking about dumpy level,4 main part of it is list to be explain by us.Eyepieces, tangent screw, tripod stand and three leveling screw.
Every part have it own function.Might be relate to others or not.
The best and the most part that i like is the bubble adjustment.Why??.Because i like to play the bubble to get into the circle.It is the important thing too.When the bubble get into the circle,it show that the dumpy level is balance on its stable base part.

I'm explained about chin strap as the fourth main part in the safety helmet..want to know about chin strap??
Chin strap is actually a strap that fits under chin to help hold the helmet on the user's head.It is desingn to decrease the risk of losing helmet in case of impact during fall.Chin stra is made up of syntatic fibre.It can be adjust forward or backward.It is installed by inserting into the chin strap attachment hole.Lastly to make your head feel more confortable you can adjust the adjustment buckle..
Our purpose for exhibit safety helmet as our product is to expose to others more about safety helmet so you not only think about safety helmet as only a safety helmet.There is a few thing that we really need to give more attention about our safety helmet in other to avoid any unexpected danger at site.Make sure you know and care about your safety helmet since it's relate on your health and life..that's all from me..bye

at last, i have finish doing my final exhibition.it is one of the most valuable memory that i have gone through this semester.
For this final project, my group was exhibit a safety helmet and i was explain about the webbing harness.So today I'm going to explain about main part 2, that is webbing harness.
Webbing harness is a protective equipment design to protect person from injured or danger.Other than that, it also use to maintain the safety helmet in position on user head.
the material use to make webbing harness must be high in strength for example dyneema, nylon, polyester and Kevlar.but for our safety helmet, it use only polyester as their main material.it is 45m in wide and also fixed with absorber to absorb impact energy from above load.

Day by day coming and we getting nervous...so many products coming out from our mind. Finally we are able to choose one. We send the SAFETY HELMET proposal and it’s been approved automatically (thanks madam Noli!! we love you!! hehe).
Tic toc tic toc...time passing and we are done!! We did it yesterday at block y, sharp 8.23 am. fuhh.. I feel relief when finished doing my part. Also, I can see the smile on each my group mates after the exhibition done. For your information, there are 4 main parts and im the one who responsible for main part 1.
Now I want to explain my part.
Let’s start...
Main part 1 is THE SHELL.
Shell is a cap that matched to shape of head. The purpose of shell is to protect head
From falling object, thus prevent serious injuries. It made up from hard and insulated material since it is high strength impact and high resistance to penetration. As we can see, there is convex edge in front of the shell. It is to cover the eyes from getting hit of falling objects. We also can see the shell has bump shape on top of it. Therefore, whenever the objects hit the shell, it will meet or crush with the bump first. So, the user doesn’t get hit directly. Other than that, there are detachable connections for inner part such as webbing harness to stick on the shell.
After explaining the shell part, I realized that the shell is one of the most
Important part in safety helmet. It avoids our head from getting hurt as there are unexpected objects falling from above. We cannot predict what is gonna happen in future. Even a small nail can put us in danger because when an object falls from higher place, it will be a high pressure thus giving high impact. Even the probability of the shell to break down is low but we should always check the surface to ensure no cracks. If it does, we should have to replace with new one.
Last but not least, we must always practice the safety precaution steps such as wear safety helmet, wear safety boots, wear goggles and wear appropriate attire once we get stepped into the construction site. Not for the construction site only but also at the place that we think might give harmful to us.

Oh~ the final project,the presentation our group chooses "backhoe". we have 4 members but only one guy, haha~ we discuss together. actually the backhoe is our second choose, the first choose is safety shoes.

It is a straight shaft connecting the digging bucket of an excavating machine or power shovel with the boom.

wau dis is the last task which is i need to complete.the presentation have done..im so happy including my other members in the group.
the product had been chose is safety helmet.safety helmet have 4 main part,there are cup,webbing harness,lock and chin strap.
my part is lock system.lock is something to clise and fasten.therefore it is an adequate protection.this lock system is combine together with webbing harness and it located behind the safety helmet.
it is funtion by changing the size the back of the harness for tighten and loosen.in other hand, yhis helmet must be fit or adjustable to the size of the user head and make around the crown of the head comfortable fit.
safety helmet have several type of lock system,there are slide lock, pin lock, push lock and ratchet lock.
lastly i want to say, safety first by using safety helmet.
(im so sorry madam because i'm late submit this asignment.i have the problem with my laptop,i hope u will understand me.)
