What kind of presenter am I? (C 16)

Today we play Impromptu Speech.I got topic 'If you be an animal, what animal you want to be'?.At first,I thought that is a ridiculous question. My fellow friends got good topic,I guest like 'Your dreams career' or 'Your sweet memories in UMP'.I was the last speaker during this activity. As I observe my fellow friends do presentation,I realize that the topic that I got not so difficult to voice out instead of quite funny.I enjoy this activity.I got many comments from my friends, many of them say I have no eye contact while present my topic.I really appreciate their comments because I can improve my presentation skills from here.

I agree with all the judges comment about me.First off all, when i'm giving my speech, some of them said that i lack the eye contact with the audiences and my body language also less.I also always looking around,up and down.Although some of them said that my voice is clear but i think it is not enough to be a good speaker.I'm a confident person when giving a speech in front the audiences. My problem is i have a strong point but i can't elaborate it very well.So to solve all this problem,i've to improve my languages, vocabulary and the most important thing is have a strong general knowledges.Thank you...

The Impromptu Speech is a excellent practise for student to talk inpromptu about any topics that are given to students.Besides that, student's thinking will be stimulated to elobrate points on a given topic. In this activity other students who are listening to the talk can give their coments on the strength and weakness of the speaker. From there the speaker might learn his or her mistakes and try to overcome it.Furthermore,i myself have learned so many skills about presention. So do not be nervous to give the best talk.

This morning, madam made up my day by doing the impromtu speech activity. It makes me speak on the spot about "My best experience" without preparing much and it challenge my ability to speak spontaneously. It is nice to get good comments from my friends about the way I speak.Anyhow, some of them said that I need to look calmer while I speak.I accept my friends comments with open hearts.I have no problem to speak in front of others because by nature I really like to talk.My mum always says that I am such a talkative girl and need to slow down sometimes.

Something to say....
Yesterday,we played some common activity but still interesting. The activity is impromtu speech. This activity like MUET exam.We only have 2 minutes to think ideas and prepare what to talk. After our speech, our group member will post a comment. For this activity I should speak about 'My Dream Job'.Actually,I not only focus on topic but on comment too. From this activity,I able to know my weakness in public speaking. This because, more than 80% said that comment the same thing. From this I can expect that everyone can see my mistake. After this,I will not do the same thing.Whitout this activity, maybe I will do this mistake for the whole of my life.Thank You madam.

Impromptu Speech. This activity really makes me feel bluurrr, because I think I feel excited to do this activity, but then actually I feel scared to voice out the speech. I like because I love to speak in front of the crowd, I don't like because I feel nervous, but it still under control. I got the topic "Please tell about your parents" which is may be easy for me to tell about my parents to my fellow friends. But, the hard part is to speak out! I guess I am the only one of the member group who stands when I give speech. It makes me feels flexible to move my hands, my body, my head. After giving the speech, I got the comments from my friends, which are not so new to me because I already knew that I have so many weaknessess in giving a talk, especially when I said too many "aaaa...aaaa.." and also lack of elobration of each points. The funniest comment I got is 'Don't use too big paper size', because I really never thought of that. Well, it makes me to be more alert and aware of what I am doing when I give a speech later. From time to time, I will try the best to improve my public speaking skill. For my friends, thank you for judging me. For Madam Noli Maishara, thank you for everything.

Assalamualaikum. I think the Impromptu speech that we have done last Tuesday is really exciting but quite challenging. It is because we need to elaborate the idea and giving the speech to our group. Actually, I got the general topic that is quite easy to elaborate but I am so nervous, I cannot perform better and do well. From this activity, we can learn on how to improve our speaking skills, knowledge and vocabulary. We also can discuss a different topic with others member in our group. Beside that, I am also can learn from my weakness in communication skill. Lastly but not least , a good speaker are not born but they take training. So, keep on training yourself for public speaking. That all. Thanks You Miss Noli.

As everyone knew, we already did some kind of speaking activity last tuesday, which was called as Impromptu Speech. I do feel that this kind of activity is very good and helpful especially for those who are lacking of speaking skills. I do not like to give or deliver speech to others because I knew that my confidence level is very low. However, my friends gave me positive comments. They said that I am so confident during the delivery of my speech. Nevertheless, it does not give me full satisfactory. There are still lots of spaces and chances for me to improve. I really hope that I can be a very good speaker in future!!

I really enjoy the Impromptu Speech activity that we had in our English class that day. It was not like formal presentation and everybody seems relax since we were just sitting like we were having normal conversation in a big circle. I got the topic 'Your Dreams Career' and I like that topic. But I'm quite nervous when giving my speech. Plus,I'm the first to start the activity, so, it doubled my nervous. The things that I really like in this activity is that we can get comments from others. By this way,I can know my strengths and weaknesses in speaking to public. Like others,I do really like those comments that my friends gave me. I am looking forward to improve myself and hope that I can do better in the future. This kind of activity should really be held again from times to times to help the students improve their speaking skills. -Farah-

Impromptu speech is a supportive activity for me to practice my skills as a presenter. On this activity I talk about how I make a new friends and my definition about good friends and also bad friends. I like this topic because I get many ideas to talk about, but while nervous I just like forgot anything and my sentences look strange .I needs strongly confidents to handle this situation. It same with my friend’s comment, mostly said that I have idea but I look nervous, quite stammer and less eye contact with them .I accept all the comment because it can help me to improve my presentation skills. Sometime we can’t see our weakness without help from anyone. Lastly, this program was very helping me. Thank you..

Erm..what kind of presenter I am..such a good question but actualy i don't know how to answer that..until our english lecturer Mdm.Noli ask us to do the 'Impromptu Speech' by groups..I just makes sure that my weakness are as below:

1st - voice too low
2nd - voice not clear
3rd - something wrong with my tone
4th - no face reaction
5th - a bit nervous
6th - a bit scared
7th - a bir shaky
8th - don't get to deliver the topics
9th - don't play around with your hair
10th - don't touch your hair frequently

Those are the comments that given by my group members during my small short presentation..I do agree with their view..because I really don't know what should I talk about my topic..my favourite villian & atate the movie..oh my godness!! Such a long time I didn't watched tv and yet I have a short-term memory..how am I going to remember the name of the character and the name of the movie..sigh.. In the end..I just ‘bla bla bla’ for one and a half minutes like the 'microsoft dude'..but I stil have eye contact with others plus a little bit of body language..yet..never feel that the time go so slow during my english lecture.. So,in conclusion..to improve my presentation skills..I need to improve my memorising skill first!!^-^

Impropmtu Speech is such a good activity to be held actually.it develops us to be confident with ourselves to speak out, with brilliant points prepared in just a few minutes.with differents topics,we have shared something good actually between the classmates.but as for me i still have lots of weaknesses in public speaking..firstly as others wrote on that small papers is im lack of eye contact not to mention my body language.at heart,i was quite jittery at that time, and my hand was shaking.so i tend to hide my it..hehe.some said that i was confident with my points of view, but i did not have good elaborations.so i just spoke anything that crossed my head..apontaneously.i did look at my notes but i could not say most of the points written.weird right? i just hope that i can overcome my weaknesses bit by bit.well, this kind of speech is beneficial anyway.it did help me a lot to improve my speaking.long live impromptu speech=)

the word 'practice makes perfect' is really practices.now i realize where i am.that activity is really test my capable to give a talk directly in short range of time.this is the first time for me to build up my vocabulary, style of thinking and also my grammar.sometimes a weakness of confident colud be a main reason why a speaker is loose on their speech although they are very excellent in language.

At first thought,I think this activity will make me to look dumb in front of people. But all of my presumption went wrong.I actually learned that this is the place for me to improve myself to speak in front of audience, regardless of people or ceremony.Gaining confidence to speak is a must for a presenter. Thus, attending this activity is very benefit to us as it help us to build up our confidence as well as detecting our strengh and weaknesses as a presenter.

Impromptu speech is very good activity and give benefits to us. I think from this activity we can recognize our true color of our self. I also can build my confidence when talking in front of others people. I have to talk about my best dream I ever had. Actually, I have so many ideas to talk but suddenly I was speechless. When everyone starts looking at me I felt very nervous but I acted like nothing happened. So, I start to talk with my all heart and soul. Outside look confident but inside I have no idea how to describe it. My God!
After finishing my speech, I got a lot of positive comment instead of negative comment. I really do not believe it at first but when my friends told me that I am able to speak out and look confident. Besides, I also have clear voice and everybody can hear me. In addition, I also got some of negative comment such as stammer and lack description of my ideas. Somehow, there is positive comment to me because from that I may know my weakness and try to improve my skill of public speaking. For me, this is important things in future to become a good leader who is able to talk anything in front of public. Therefore my friends, starting from now we should build our self confident and throw far away the fear of giving a speech.
