During the last holiday, I read a short, simple and nice story that I felt it was very meaningfull & touching. So, I would like to share it here.

There was an old man living alone in a house. He had a bad temper and always think that this world was cruel and there was no love. Everyday, he sat in front of his window, looking outside with a depressed look. But one day, when he was looking outside as usuall, he saw a little girl passed by and smiled at him. He suddenly felt warm. From that onwards, everyday he also will wait for the little girl. After several years, the old man passed away. The little girl received a call from the old man's lawyer said that the old man had leave a will for her. The old man wrote like this on his will: " I want to give my everything to the little girl who warms up my life."

From this, I notice that how can a smile affect a person's life or just a moment. Just a smile, it can make others feel happy & blessing. So, please give a smile always. Eventhough is simple, but it makes a big effort.

I would like to share an article about role model from Reader's Digest:
The story of Antonio Seay("Broterly Love,"October 2007)really made me sit up.It's amazing that he made the ultimate sacrifice to be the siblings. It shows readers what resilience and dtermination can do.My own brother is 16,and I'm four years younger.Anything could happen to us,too. It made me think that being strong physically and emotionlly is not enough, our values and goals have to be right too.

I would like to share an article about garbage crisis from Reader's Digest:
I can't call myself an advocate but I'd like to think that I'm doing my bit for the environment.Take shopping bags, for example-I now bring a reusable grocery bag to the store so I don't get plastic bags. However,I still use plastic bags to line my garbage bin, which is something I have to do to keep the trash and the smeel in.It doesn't really make sense to buy plastic liners but I have no choice as there's no alternative. We need a solution for taking the garbage out properly.

(AIDS)

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS or Aids) is a set of symptoms and infections resulting from the damage to the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).This condition progressively reduces the effectiveness of the immune system and leaves individuals susceptible to opportunistic infections and tumors. HIV is transmitted through direct contact of a mucous membrane or the bloodstream with a bodily fluid containing HIV, such as blood, semen, vaginal fluid, preseminal fluid, and breast milk. This transmission can involve anal, vaginal or oral sex, blood transfusion, contaminated hypodermic needles, exchange between mother and baby during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding, or other exposure to one of the above bodily fluids.

AIDS is now a pandemic. In 2007, an estimated 33.2 million people lived with the disease worldwide, and it killed an estimated 2.1 million people, including 330,000 children.Over three-quarters of these deaths occurred in sub-Saharan Africa, retarding economic growth and destroying human capital. Most researchers believe that HIV originated in sub-Saharan Africa during the twentieth century.AIDS was first recognized by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 1981 and its cause, HIV, identified by American and French scientists in the early 1980s.

Although treatments for AIDS and HIV can slow the course of the disease, there is currently no vaccine or cure. Antiretroviral treatment reduces both the mortality and the morbidity of HIV infection, but these drugs are expensive and routine access to antiretroviral medication is not available in all countries.Due to the difficulty in treating HIV infection, preventing infection is a key aim in controlling the AIDS epidemic, with health organizations promoting safe sex and needle-exchange programmes in attempts to slow the spread of the virus. The symptoms of AIDS are primarily the result of conditions that do not normally develop in individuals with healthy immune systems. Most of these conditions are infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that are normally controlled by the elements of the immune system that HIV damages. Opportunistic infections are common in people with AIDS.HIV affects nearly every organ system. People with AIDS also have an increased risk of developing various cancers such as Kaposi's sarcoma, cervical cancer and cancers of the immune system known as lymphomas. Additionally, people with AIDS often have systemic symptoms of infection like fevers, sweats (particularly at night), swollen glands, chills, weakness, and weight loss. The specific opportunistic infections that AIDS patients develop depend in part on the prevalence of these infections in the geographic area in which the patient lives.

(Marriage)

Marriage is a personal union of individuals. This union may also be called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding and the married status created is sometimes called wedlock.
Marriage is an institution in which interpersonal relationships (usually intimate and sexual) are acknowledged by the state or by religious authority. It is often viewed as a contract. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution, in accordance with marriage laws of the jurisdiction. If recognized by the state, by the religion to which the parties belong or by society in general, the act of marriage changes the personal and social status of the individuals who enter into it.

People marry for many reasons, but usually one or more of the following are legal, social, and economic stability, the formation of a family unit, procreation and the education and nurturing of children, legitimizing sexual relations, public declaration of love, or to obtain citizenship.

Marriage may take many forms, for example, a union between one man and one woman as husband and wife is a monogamous heterosexual marriage.Polygamy in which a person takes more than one spouse is common in many societies. Recently, some jurisdictions and denominations have begun to recognize same-sex marriage, uniting people of the same sex.

A marriage is often formalized during a marriage ceremony, which may be performed either by a religious officiant, by a secular State authorised officiator, or (in weddings that have no church or state affiliation) by a trusted friend of the wedding participants. The act of marriage usually creates normative or legal obligations between the individuals involved and, in many societies, their extended families.

Article 16 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights declares that "Men and women of full age, without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion, have the right to marry and to found a family. They are entitled to equal rights as to marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution. Marriage shall be entered into only with the free and full consent of the intending spouses." The Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam gives men and women the "right to marriage" regardless of their race, colour or nationality, but not religion.

(Sex education)

Sex education is a broad term used to describe education about human sexual anatomy, sexual reproduction, sexual intercourse, reproductive health, emotional relations, reproductive rights and responsibilities, contraception, and other aspects of human sexual behavior. Common avenues for sex education are parents or caregivers, school programs, and public health campaigns.

Sex education may also be described as "sexuality education," which means that it encompasses education about all aspects of sexuality, including information about family planning, reproduction (fertilization, conception and development of the embryo and fetus, through to childbirth), plus information about all aspects of one's sexuality including body image, sexual orientation, sexual pleasure, values, decision making, communication, dating, relationships, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and how to avoid them, and birth control methods.

Sex education may be taught informally, such as when someone receives information from a conversation with a parent, friend, religious leader, or through the media. It may also be delivered through sex self-help authors, magazine advice columnists, sex columnists, or through sex education web sites. Formal sex education occurs when schools or health care providers offer sex education.

Sometimes formal sex education is taught as a full course as part of the curriculum in junior high school or high school. Other times it is only one unit within a more broad health class, home economics class, or physical education class. Some schools offer no sex education, since it remains a controversial issue in several countries, particularly the United States especially with regard to the age at which children should start receiving such education, the amount of detail that is revealed, and topics dealing with human sexual behavior, such as safe sex practices, masturbation, premarital sex, and sexual ethics.

(Pet)

A pet is an animal kept for companionship and enjoyment, as opposed to livestock, laboratory animals, working animals or sport animals, which are kept for economic reasons. The most popular pets are noted for their loyal or playful characteristics, for their attractive appearance, or for their song. Pets also generally seem to provide their owners with non-trivial health benefits, keeping pets has been shown to help relieve stress to those who like having animals around. There is now a medically-approved class of "therapy animals," mostly dogs, who are brought to visit confined humans. Walking a dog can provide both the owner and the dog with exercise, fresh air, and social interaction.

While in theory any animal might be a pet, in practice only a small number of species of mammals especially dogs and cats and other small animals, such as birds, fish, or lizards, are practical. One reason for this is that large animals are not able to fit inside small dwellings.

In general, a pet must either be small enough or easily controlled for his or her undesirable behavioral tendencies to be negligible, or the animal must be actually domesticable. Examples of the former are such animals as fish including carnivorous ones such as piranha, chickens, invertebrates or small mammals.

A few animals are sufficiently capable of adapting to human interaction to be considered domesticable. Dogs ("man's best friend") are considered to be a classic example of domesticated animals normally suited to being pets. Domestic dogs are quite similar to wolves, but their physical form and behavior are characteristically different, more than mere differences in size, coat, or coloring. Behaviorally speaking, characteristic changes in dogs due to domestication include a prolonged infancy, increased playfulness, and increased barking. Wolves are far less playful and vocal

Five Tips to Reduce Stress
I have read a book by G.Gaynor McTigue, author of the best-selling stress-relief book, “Why Make Yourself Crazy?” First, do one thing at a time. Do it mindfully. Do it well. Enjoy the satisfaction. Then go on to the next thing. Multitasking might work for computers, but humans have yet to get the hang of it. It leads to careless mistakes, shoddy work and unreliable performance. Worst of all, having to do things over. This is no way to live. Give what you're doing your undivided attention. Take the time to get it right. And enjoy the experience. Second, cut down on competitive stress. Today, we compete for everything: the space around us, to be first to own a new product, to get our kids signed up for programs, to get our viewpoints across, to be faster, smarter, richer. Our days are filled with stressful competitions. And most are absolutely unnecessary.Try to get above all that. If you want to compete, vie to be the one who stays calm and in control, who isn't easily sucked in by material things, who avoids being caught up in the daily grab-bag that robs people of health and peace of mind. Third, throw something out every day. You've got too much stuff in your house. Useless clutter that's weighing you down, getting in the way, obscuring the things you really need. Be realistic. If you're not going to use it, lose it. And you don't have to make a humongous project out of it. Every day, find one thing you don't need and toss it. Or give it away. Over time, the clutter will begin to vanish and space and order will magically appear in your home...and your life. Fourth, eliminate meaningless deadlines. Our life is full of them. Arbitrary and unrealistic time constraints imposed by ourselves and others that serve only to make us more pressured, anxious, stressed out. For no worthwhile reason. Avoid the trap of assigning time frames to everything you do, especially if you have little idea. Instead, make your goal one of completing a project in a careful, professional. In other words, as long as it takes to do it right. Save your nerves, and your energy, for the few real deadlines we face... Fifth, get more out of life by doing less. Is your life fulfilling? Or is it merely crammed? Know the difference and you'll realize it's not the quantity of activities you engage in (or possessions you collect) that ultimately determine your happiness. One naturally unfolding, enriching experience can easily surpasses many rushed and distracted ones. But you may be so chronically overscheduled, you never give yourself a chance to enjoy anything to the fullest. Choose an occasion and give it your complete, mindful and unhurried attention. Then imagine an entire life of such enrichment. It's absolutely attainable.

Time past so fast, our greatest sporting event is finally over. Now,I would like to share something about the highlights and lowlights of Beijing Oympics 2008.

First,I would like to mention about Datuk Lee Chong Wei,who won the silver medal for the single match.Honestly,we as malaysian were so proud of him because he was the only one who succed to play until the final match & won.

During the Olmpics, there was many accident happened to either those competitors or performers. One of them would be Hungary's Janos Baranyai. He was taken to the hospital after he dislocated his entire elbow dring the Men's 77kg event in Weightlifting.

One thing that I want to mention is about the singer of the song "Ode to the Motherland" during the opening ceremony.Actually the song was sung by another girl who called as Yang Peiyi but not Ling Miaoke.Just bacause Ling Miaoke is more pretty than Yang Peiyi,so her partner do not allowed Yang Peiyi to show up with him.Nowadays looks apparently does matter even for kids! How sad is that.

Friends and friendship.

Sometime we do not think about this. We just have our own life, but this is important thing.

Friendship is a blessing, and a friend is the channel through whom great emotional, spiritual, and sometimes even physical blessings flow. Friends can cheer us when we’re sorrowful or depressed. Friends can challenge us when we allow ourselves to get beyond our reasonable boundaries. Friends can motivate us when we’re ready to give in, and they can provide for us when life falls apart. They are there when all is well, and we want someone with who to share life’s pleasant and memorable moments. We often just want them around to have a good time, to laugh, to act silly, to enjoy some mutually liked activity.

"Looking back on the tears would make us laugh...but we never realise that looking back on the moments we laughed together would make us cry........"

Do you ever heard this saying before???
May be it is quite familiar to some of you out there but I would also believe that some you does not ever thought about it before.

Now, i would like to share my opinion about this saying. Normally we always lauged when we suddently remembered some kind of moments that make us cried...when we think back bout it, we'll find it funny and if can, we wouldn't want that kind of thing happen. At this time, we'll surely want to turn bck the time if possible...

However, on the other hand,
when we really have fun either with our family members, friends or anyone else, we'll keep it in our mind as sweet memory, we wouldn't want to forget about it.....and sometimes, it would also make us cried thinking about that...

It is so miracle....This is called life.... Just enjoy every second do you have...

Mosquito fever.

I want to share about one of the articles that I had read in the newspaper. This article written by Malaysia Pediatric Association.

Dengue fever is a fever that is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito, the vector that transmits the dengue virus.
Dengue is spread from one person to another through the bite of this mosquito which occurs in the day time. Dengue fever often occurs in areas where the virus is prevalent and the mosquitoes breed.

The fever usually lasts three to seven days and in the course of it, red rashes may appear. Dengue fever is dangerous because the patient can bleed and become weak very quickly.

Refer to a doctor immediately when
fever is prolonged, appearance of red rashes around the face and body or dengue cases have been reported in your residential area.
Mosquito fever is a critical disease if we do not take it as a serious matter.

Hai today i want to share with you about a person. He is the only hero in the F1 races. I am sure that you guess the person.......

He is Michael Schumacer. Lat week, i had read about him in one article. In the article, i learn so many thing from him.
He is famous formar F1 driver during the time. Let we share a little bit an information about him......He is born January 3,1969 in Hurth-Hermulheim,Germany.He is 7
time world championship Frrari. According to the official Formula One website, he is "statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen". He is the first German to win the Formula One World championship and is credited with popularising Formula One in Germany. In a 2006 FIA survey,Michael Schumacher was voted the most popular driver among Formula One fans. After winning two championships with Benetton, Michael Schumacher moved to Scuderia Ferrari in 1996 and won five consecutive drivers' titles with them from 2000–2004. Schumacher holds many records in Formula One, including most drivers' championships, race victories, fastest laps, pole positions, points scored and most races won in a single season. Schumacher is the only Formula One driver to have an entire season of podium finishes. His driving sometimes created controversy: he was twice involved in collisions that determined the outcome of the world championship, most notably his disqualification from the 1997 championship for causing a collision with Jacques Villeneuve. After the 2006 Formula One season Schumacher retired from race driving.

Off the track, Schumacher is an ambassador for UNESCO and a spokesman for driver safety. He has been involved in numerous humanitarian efforts throughout his life and donated tens of millions of dollars to charity. He is the elder brother of former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher, currently racing in Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). Hey there....

Whether you admit it or not, music embeds our daily life, weaving its beauty and emotion through our thoughts, activities and memories.
We listen to no matter what kind of music almost all the time.Even right now,i'm listening to the song 'The day you went away' by M2M.
Actually, all I wanted to tell you all is that music plays an important role in my life...
By simply listening to the right song,I can recall back my past memories especially the memory with my family. For example, when I listen to the song 'hotel california' sang by The Eagles,it reminds me of my mother because it is her favourite song.
I believe that most people feels the same and believe it or not, besides chocolates, music can really calm me down when my stress level is at peak. You all should better try it because it really works especially in Ramadhan because I can't eat chocolates to lower my stress so,music seems to be a good option besides praying and reciting the Quran.
So,I hope you all will start loving music as I do and share our interest together...

You know, sometimes life is not as easy as we may think or plan.Sometimes, when we plan something neatly, but in the end it turns the other way round. But I believe that everything happends
Have you ever wondered, what is our purpose in life. Why are we here on Earth, what will our destiny or fate be?
Hmm..I have been wondering about that for quite a long time and what i discover after some readings is that we are here to be a 'khalifah' or a leader.
When I said the word leader,it does not mean that everyone should aim to be the prime minister but it is just enough if can be a leader of ourselves and lead our life on the right path.If you all are still confuse of what I'm trying to say,I suggest you read the followings;
'When Allah breathed His Spirit into Adam He gave Adam the responsibility and the ability as His Khalifah to help bring into being a world right in every way, all of it according to the Will of Allah.'
still have no idea??
To make it simple,we are all ,each one of us are born as a leader. So,we must carry this responsible as good as we can to make this world a better place to live in.Please do remember that....

Your head hurts. Again. You rub your eyes, twist your neck around and listen to the cracking and snapping noises in your neck.I experienced that everytime i'm too tired and I believe my fellow friends out there in Universiti Malaysia Pahang might feel the same eah time the due date of our assignment is around the corner.
Have you ever wonder 'Why do you have another headache?'
Headaches can happen for many reasons. You may have eyestrain from spending too much time on your laptop, you could have an inflammation of your sinus cavities or it could be a life-threatening condition like a tumor, brain cancer, or encephalitis. You can also get a headache if you’re dehydrated or hungry.
More than likely it’s simply a tension headache.
Tension headaches are caused by tightening in the muscles in shoulders, neck, scalp and jaw. I’ll bet you didn’t realize that you had muscles in your scalp, much less that they could contract. These are tension headaches. The contractions of these muscles are often due to stress, depression or anxiety. If you’re working too much, not getting enough rest, not eating properly or using alcohol or drugs you’re probably more prone to getting tension headaches. Migraines and cluster headaches appear to be related to swelling of blood vessels. The pain comes from the blood vessel walls, membrane coverings of the brain and the muscles in the scalp and neck. Your brain itself actually cannot feel pain. Inflammation of your sinuses is also a common cause of headaches.
In your quest to determine the cause of your headaches, it’s a good idea to keep a headache journal. Get a little notebook and write down every time every time you get a headache. What did you eat before it happened? What activities were you engaged in? Did your vision change? Did you become sensitive to light? You’ll be able to see patterns of what may bring on your pain, like stress, food triggers, medications, and menstrual cycles. Foods that have been found to trigger certain headaches are chocolate, cheese and MSG (monosodium glutamate). Your mileage may vary in what triggers your headaches.
Your tension headache can be caused by engaging in an activity that requires you to keep your head in the same position for an extended period of time—like using a computer or a microscope or any other repetitive action. It could also be caused by sleeping in an odd position, clenching your jaw, grinding your teeth while asleep or sleeping in a cold room.
Once you know what causes your headaches, you’re more likely to be able to avoid them in the future.

Hi everyone....
For this comment, I would like to talk about friendship. I'm sure that all of us knew what is all about and I also believe that each and everyone of us have our own bestfriend or bestfriends.

I had read about an article where people arguing about the proper usage of word 'bestfriend' or 'bestfriends'. Apart of people said that only the word 'bestfriend' exist as the word best is clearly means that it is specially for 1 person where the 'best' describe as the most. Where as the word 'bestfriends' does not relevant.

However, I have different kind of opinion. To me, it doesnt matter if we have more than 1 bestfriends. We take primary or secondary school life for example, at this level we may feel that more convenient in certain group and of cause, there must be a number of members in that particular group. When everyday we stick to that person, we will feel comfort with them. For this situation, I would say it is possible to have more than 1 bestfriends.

Nevertheless, as i said earlier on, everyone has our own opinion. So it is up to us whether want to have just 1 bestfriend or a few bestfriends.

I've read about an article entitle Arthritis. This disease is actually related to my mom. She had it since past 7 years. Here is the details about the disease.

Rheumatoid arthritis is one of more than 100 forms of arthritis. It is a chronic (ongoing) condition in which the synovium (the tissue that lines and lubricates the joints) becomes inflamed. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to attack the joints. Large and small joints, as well as both sides of the body, are usually affected. Over time, the joints become deformed and knotted-looking if the disease is not treated properly. The disease is also systemic and may affects many tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and muscles.

The name is derived from the Greek rheumatos meaning "flowing", the suffix -oid meaning "in the shape of", arthr meaning "joint" and the suffix -itis, a "condition involving inflammation".

The symptoms that distinguish rheumatoid arthritis from other forms of arthritis are inflammation and soft-tissue swelling of many joints at the same time (polyarthritis). The joints are usually affected initially asymmetrically (one side of the body) and then in a symmetrical (both sides of the body) fashion as the disease progresses. The pain generally improves with use of the affected joints, and there is usually stiffness of all joints in the morning that lasts over 1 hour. Thus, the pain of rheumatoid arthritis is usually worse in the morning compared to the classic pain of osteoarthritis where the pain worsens over the day as the joints are used.

If you'd like to know how to stop feeling so tired or completely exhausted and stop being sick, I can let you in on a little secret. Your diet is probably what's causing a majority of your health problems. I should know! Diet changes, raw food and raw food recipes could be your answer too. Even as a nurse our nutrition education didn't show us how to heal ourselves with food.

Make a few simple diet changes and you can be rewarded with superior health. You can get rid of all of your ailments and conditions and medical complaints. I know because I got rid of all mine many years ago and enjoy perfect health.

It doesn't have to be extreme. You can start making a few dietary changes and you'll notice you start to feel better and better and better. You'll notice a fast weight loss, especially if you're eating a lot of raw foods.

Raw foods are the secret. Often called living foods, they come from plants. Grains are not a part of a raw food diet. Cooked food is refined, packaged, processed and cooked and is almost completely deficient in the nutrients you need every day to nourish your body and heal yourself of all your ailments from a suppressed immune system.

Raw foods are alkaline as opposed to cooked foods which are acidic and inflammatory. Eat a lot of cooked foods and you'll find yourself having more and more problems as the immune system complains that it needs help from you in curing yourself or healing yourself of many of your ailments if not all of them

When I converted to a raw food diet many years ago, I did so with the help of many raw food recipes that I developed. It made it a little more interesting. Besides eating fruits, uncooked veggies, nuts and seeds, I enjoy fixing easy raw food recipes. They include things like: almond milk, lemon torte, fudge, all fruit smoothies, green smoothies, pates, date-pecan balls, macadamia frosting, blueberry pie, dressings, sweet cabbage salad, guacamole, no-meat or vegan burgers, puddings, pesto, non-dairy cheese-type spreads, juices, carrot juice, non-dairy milkshakes, fruit salads and a few dehydrated foods like crackers and cookies, etc. These are all raw, enzyme and nutrient-rich and totally healthy foods.

I cured myself of a long list of ailments including breast cancer, fibromyalgia, acid reflux, heartburn episodes, ten years of chronic sinus infections, irritable bowel syndrome, canker sores, gum disease, insomnia, aching joints, aching muscles, chronic fatigue, bad dreams, colds and more. I never take any medications, sleep five hours a night, have a lot of energy, never hungry, physically fit, active with tennis, hiking, etc.

In all these years since I've made the switch I am completely free of all those diseases and conditions. And this is true as of the first month of my change to a raw food diet.

Why not start adding more raw foods to your diet and see how you start to feel better. You may be motivated to start eating a lot more living foods when you start to enjoy how you feel every day. Try some raw food recipes too and see how easy they are to fix.

Friendships are the gift to the man kind. The relation which we get in this world are blood related. But the only relationships which doesnot related to blood is friendship. Friendship has many forms and shapes. It is like water. If we pour the water into a jug it takes the shape of jug. if you pour the same water into a bowl it takes the shape o bowl. Sameway friendships will take a different shapes and sizes according to our heart. Friendship gives pleasure to human beings. Where there is friendship then there will not be any sorrow. When you see a child laughing you will forget your sorrows for a second, sameway when you are with a friend you forget your sorrows.
The world is rotating smoothly because of the friendly hearts in the world. it crosses boundries and share a mutual bonding of love. Friendships will take care of this entire world from problems. If we are friends then our countries will, when our countries are friends then there is not need of weapons. So take weapon named friendship and love and conqure the world with love.
Trusted true friendships never makes others down. it helps a lot to make friends to comeup from the situation. Friendships never expect anything in return for all its offering. It saves life without looking into situation.
Friends comes with friendships, They are the channel of love and affection. Friends are like child's heart which doesn't know wrong thinkings. When there is a friend with us we feel secure, happy, huge support, and comfortable which you can't get from others.

The mother glancing at the wall calendar, noted that her next seven days included two appointment, one evening of lesson registration, three deadlines to hand in various forms at two different schools, and a reminder to pick up a cover for the pool. And then, she answered her daughter that is organization skills. She also said parent should have financial skills. She have to budget, especially if she end up with two birthdays in one pay period.
Next, the mother said that math comes in handy too when she is trying to divide seven lollies evenly among four kids. Another is chemistry and biology skills. The mother said this used when her two-year-old shows you a blemish, she have to tell if it's the beginning of a flesh-eating disease or just a freckle. She also needs to know which laundry soap makes the baby itch. the mother added, that a parent also need a good memory to remember birthdays, names of stuffed animals, which kid had chickenpox, who like peas and etc. finally, the creativity in art, craft, storytelling and music. Skin Creams Can Make Skin Drier

Many people have noticed that as soon as you start using a skin cream, you have to continue with it; if you stop lubricating, your skin becomes drier than when you started. And now there is research to confirm for the first time that normal skin can become drier from creams.

Izabela Buraczewska presents these findings in the dissertation she is publicly defending at Uppsala University in Sweden on October 24.

The findings in Izabela Buraczewska’s dissertation confirm what many have suspected: creams can make the skin drier. She has studied what happens in the skin at the molecular level and also what positive and negative effects creams have on the skin. Her research shows that differences in the pH of creams do not seem to play any role.

Different oils were also studied in a seven-week treatment period, but no difference was established between mineral oil and a vegetable oil. Both oils resulted in the skin being less able to cope with external stresses. Treatment with a more complex cream compound, however, resulted in more resistant skin with no signs of dryness.

Tissues samples taken from the treated skin areas also show that the weakening of the skin’s protective barrier can be tied to changes in the activity of certain genes involved in producing skin fats, among other functions. The conclusion is that the contents of creams impact these effects on the skin. This knowledge enhances our potential to develop creams that reinforce the skin’s protective barrier in a positive way, without making the skin drier. Such creams would mean that various groups of patients with dry skin, for example eczema and ichthyosis, could enjoy a better quality of life.

“My findings show that creams differ and that knowledge of the effect of various ingredients is important for us to be able to tailor the treatment to various skin types,” says Izabela Buraczewska.

COFFEE

Coffee is a widely-consumed stimulant beverage prepared from roasted seeds, commonly called coffee beans, of the coffee plant. Coffee was first consumed in the 9th century, when it was discovered in the highlands of Ethiopia. From there, it spread to Egypt and Yemen, and by the 15th century had reached Armenia, Persia, Turkey, and northern Africa. From the Muslim world, coffee spread to Italy, then to the rest of Europe, Indonesia and the Americas. Today, coffee is one of the most popular beverages worldwide.

Coffee berries, which contain the coffee bean, are produced by several species of small evergreen bush of the genus Coffea. The two most commonly grown species are Coffea canephora (also known as Coffea robusta) and Coffea arabica. These are cultivated in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Once ripe, coffee berries are picked, processed, and dried. The seeds are then roasted, undergoing several physical and chemical changes. They are roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavor. They are then ground and brewed to create coffee. Coffee can be prepared and presented in a variety of ways.

Coffee has played an important role in many societies throughout modern history. In Africa and Yemen, it was used in religious ceremonies. As a result, the Ethiopian Church banned its consumption until the reign of Emperor Menelik II of Ethiopia. It was banned in Ottoman Turkey in the 17th century for political reasons, and was associated with rebellious political activities in Europe.

Coffee is an important export commodity. In 2004, coffee was the top agricultural export for 12 countries, and in 2005, it was the world's seventh largest legal agricultural export by value.

Some controversy is associated with coffee cultivation and its impact on the environment. Many studies have examined the relationship between coffee consumption and certain medical conditions; whether the effects of coffee are positive or negative is still disputed.

Here, I would like to drop an article, which I think it is very important in our daily life. The article titled "SIGHT FOR SORE EYES". Here we go.

Every year, thousands of Asians suffer from conjunctivitis, also called pinkeye or sore eyes. This mild ailment is highly contagious, but Dr Luningning Villa, a medical specialist with the Infectious Disease Office at the Philippine Departmet of Health, says we can all help stop its spread.

***Don't Touch
Conjunctivitis is most often spread through contact between eyes, hands and surfaces. If you have it, try not to rub your eyes. If someone near you has it, don't touch your eyes either. It's the fastest way to infect yourself.

***Wash Your Hands
To avoid accidental transmission, scrub your hands frequently with soap.

***Don't Share
Conjunctivitis can be spread on towels and makeup, even through eye drops if the tip of the bottle touches the infected person's eye.

***Separate the Kids
Young children often don't understand or can't remember to not touch their eyes and wash their hands often. If one child is infected, keep him or her away from other children and out of school.

***Get Help
If you do get conjunctivitis and your eyes don't clear up within a week, see your doctor. You may need medical attention.

That's the article is about. May be some of us really don't care about this, but it may effect our life if we don't take serious actions. That is all.

Thank you.

Again. I would like to post an article regarding women's health. May be it could be about you, or someone near you. Men also need to know this. So, I suggest you out there to give a full attention about what I'm going to share.

"A Good Fix for Fibroid"

Uterine fibroids are rarely life threatening, but the benign tumours can make life so miserable that the only relief for many women is to have surgery. But now the US Food and Drug Administration has approved a less invasive alternative - a device that blocks the fibroid's blood supply.
How it works : translucent microscopic beads are injected into the bloodstream using a catheter that's threaded through the patient's thigh artery up to the uterus. Like tiny marbles tumbling through a pipe, the beads travel up stream to the fibroid, where they wedge in the vessel, blocking blood flow. Over time, the fibroid shrinks and falls away. In a study of 132 women, the majority reported that the procedure alleviated heavy bleeding and pelvic pain. The treatment is safer than a hysterectomy, according to study author James Spies, an associate professor of radiology at Georgetown University School of Medicine. And, he adds, most patiens recover in about a week, "and there's no scar at all."

I hope this will help, not much but still worth. That's all.

Thank you.
