Assalamualaikum to Madam Noli and to all my lovely friends.
According to the final project 'invention and innovation of a product' i have my own task that had given in our discussion. My specific task is survey cost or known as cost estimator. So, i was responsible to handle this task and i have to make sure that the project must proceed successful.
Work completed
My previous progress report is list the whole price for each material at first step. From here, i can the rough budget cost for my project. The price that i had insert in the schedule is from my personal survey and experience during buying thing. So, to make my job become easier i collect RM10 from each team members as preparation before we buying the material.
Work completed during this time period - present work
During this time, i cooperate with my friend, Zila which is buyer of the material. She buy the material with referring my list cost. Then, i keep all the receipt as a buying proven to avoid any mistaken. Therefore, i make my job to schedule back the list cost after buying the material become more easier.
Work that have need to complete before finish the project - Future Work
After finish buying the material, i make the list cost comparison before and after buying. My first rough estimate is not too accurate. This because, at starting i put amount of estimate for the box. Luckily, i get the box without any charge. For transportation i have to insert in my list cost because we have to rent a car to make sure that we can go to the shop to buy the material.
The problem occur during my task is my rough estimate have a little different with the cost after we buying the material.
Finally, as the solution i have to reschedule back my list cost and determine the changer of both list cost.
So, after finish this task i realized that i have to be more alert with anything. Then the most important is cooperation from team members. From here, i believe that the hard work will become easier and enjoyable.

The final project of UHL2322 is to innovate andinvent a product. The product decided after discussion amont our group members was book holder. This product is aimed at student who need spend much time on study, this product consisted with lamp desk helps student reading in a good situation, the light of lamp desk make the words clearly to read especially at night. This also indirectly helps to prevent eyes illness such as short-sighted.
As for my specific task, the works assigned to me is to assembling and making product and testing product.
The work completed at current state is to make all the parts needed to assembling the product, book holder, those parts were made from hard cardboard, this type of materials are easily to shape and have strong strength.
The present work is to combine all the parts of book holder into product itself, I'm need make joints at of each to enable them to stick together. The connection tools used are string, file ring and sellotape.
The future work that I'll complete is testing product. I'll going to test that product to ensure that the strength of the product is enough to withstand the book held by it. Besides, the function of each parts of this product also must be in good condition, few tests will carryout to investigate the function of each parts, such as switch on the light of desk lamp after combined with the product at night, this is to investigate the function of light will going well and suitable to use.
After all, I'm think that we must responsible toward the assignment given and put our effort to finish it. Hence the project will going smoothly and will be complete before the due date.

For my specific task, I have to design our product. Firstly, I have to sketch the product design in a paper. Then, I started to scan the sketching into my group members laptop, so that I can highlight some of drawing that we cannot see. Then, I started to edit the sketching, after editing it, I print out the picture to put it in our proposal.
For the work status; work completed, my task for designing the product is completed as I have put it in the proposal. I have completed my task for this time. So that, I'm going to start my next work for this task that is designing the advertisement.
Present work.
My present work is to designing the advertisement. I'm starting to searching some information of the product.
Future work.
For my future work, I will help my other group members to finish their work. so that, we have our group cooperation.

Today's post is all about our final project, and I have my own task to be perform.In this project, my task is devided by three parts.First, listing the materials needed.Second, survey the cost and last, buy the materials. For more specific I may also known as Material Supplier.

I have completed the first task that is listing all the materials that we need to make our product become reality. I had made a draft or list that had been sent together with the proposal weeks ago. This list make us easy to buy the material that we need.
PRESENT WORK
I am currently working on the second task that is survey the cost.I am working on them roughly. I am also currently researching information about all the price of materials that we need to use. This task is important because we need to achieve our budget for the project.
FUTURE WORK.
Next, I will buy all the materials that we need for further task that is assemble the project.
PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED
During conducting the tasks, the only problem that encountered is time management. I need to devide time between studying and conducting this project. As for others, there is no problem encountered.
All the tasks make me become more responsible for finishing my task.It makes my job become more easier.

As for my specific task, I am in charge of assemble and make the product.Besides,as the project manager, I need to ensure that all my group member give full co-operation to finish this project.Actually, its not easy to assemble and make the product.After got the material that was bought by hafizah and design of the product that was designed by Anis, I try to visualize how I gonna start to do my innovation product.
Work status: I am finish for the first part which, I take sponge and pieces of cloth so that i can sew it together. This material is use to make a pocket or compartment as we were discussed and designed before this.For this task, to make it easy, I ask my mother help to use the sewing machine.this is because my work will finish easily and in a short of time.
Present work: Now I am working on sewing the sponge that I already sewed to the pencil case.For this task,my other group member give me help because it quite hard to finish alone.
Future work:I will plan to do to decorate the product by using bead and spangle.
This final project is really helpful for student like me.This is because, it will help student to think as creative as they can. We will be more independent to make on something new.

•I had completed a draft on noting of additional material as a backup. Our group decided to collect money from each member for buying materials that we need.
b)Present work
•I am currently working on the surveying for suitable materials, which is cheap, quantity and quality. After that, I will compare the materials and estimate the actual cost. Later, I will arrange my group member to buy the materials when they go out.
c)Future work
•If any lack of materials, additional materials as a substitution to produce our product. I also ready if out design got any problem, I will replace the materials and prepare to estimate and survey the cost of materials at the market.
Problem encounter:
a)Difficult to find suitable materials for our project
b)It is quiet hard to compare the product which is to determine its cost and quality
c)We got little different with the cost after we buy the materials

The final project of UHL2322 is invention project. The product that we decided after discussion among our group members was book holder. The objective of this product is to prevent eye problem by adjust the bok holder which attaches to the table lamp to a good position for the reader from the book.
This report is aimed at student and old folks. As we know that, students study whole day long and often stay until late of night. The students can put on the bok holder and they can see clearly under the light of table lamp. Besides, ths product can prevent old folk from getting long-sighted problem and they can read the book or newspapers without keep holding.
As for my specific task, thework assigned to me is to designing the product. I have completed design the product based on human being need nowsaday. I performed my design product b sketching he product. Sketching is important to know how the design look like and how is the book holder can attaches to the table lamp.
The present work is I am curently drawing out the product that was confirmed. The drawing is complete with the label of materials. The drawing is clearly and wil be the last product that we will make. It is a currently picture for us to refer.
Next, I will revise the entire draft based on the problem encountered when making the product. I have to make sure the product will function well in the last by changing a bit of the design. I will researching more information about our product and adding it to the product.
Finally, I will do my task which is designing the product completely. Hope we can finish it before the due date and the making process will going smoothly.

According to my final project UHL2322 group invention and innovation project, my group agreed to carry out follow the following task:

As for my specific task is to assemble, make the product and testing product. It is divide into three major parts. The three parts are:
a) Assembling all the accessory
b) Complete the electric circuit
c) Check the entire electric device by electroscope and testing product.

I have completed the first step of the section in part A on assemble all the accessory in order like electromotor, wire and electrode on electric board according plan.
Present work
I am currently working on the section in part B which is connecting all electric devices by wire on electric board. Next have to complete the electric circuit and make sure that the circuit is well connected to function.
Future work
Lastly, I have to testing all the different electrode devices by electroscope. Next, the product will be testing in light structural lab to get the degree of a table structural element is displaced under variant load (N).Then will calculate the degree or deflection by mathematically formula (@=WL3/48EI) to get the average load.
In conclusion, all above is my responsibilities and contributions towards your final project.

I have already completed the first part which is survey the other design of bookcase in the internet and the furniture. I need this information because it can help me to create my own design.
PRESENT WORK
Now, I'm currently working on the second part which is set up the position of the material (bulb and speaker). For this task, i need to decide where is the suitable position to put the bulb and speaker. I expert the current work to be completed in three days.
FUTURE WORK
I will draw the final plan prototype of our product in 3-D. With this drawing plan, it will help us to making our next works became easy. We also can use it as our references to gathering the detailing of the material that we needed.

As for my specific task, I am in charge in designing the product. For this I have divided my task to 3 major part. The part is sketching, translate Idea into rough drawing, added new application to the product, and lastly make a detail drawing.

I have completed the first part which translate the idea to a rough sketch. I had discuss with the person of my group that do idea part. Then, I started thinking and after a while I do a rough drawing about the idea.
Present work-
I am currently working on adding more application to the box to make more useful and unique from other renovation thing.

Next, I will make a detail drawing about this design and will start giving instruction to the person that assemble and create the product to make the product same as drawing that I had sketch also to make sure that the application that I had added is correct..

As for my task, I am in charge of in performing task 6 which is project testing. It is divided into three parts. The three parts are: (a) check for every component inside our model first. (b) Test the model according to it functions. (c) Repair or solve the problem if occur in our project.
Work Status:

I have completed first drafts of the sections in part A on checking for every component inside our model. I intend to make note of additional material for these sections while working on the later sections, if further background information is needed.
Present work
I am currently working on the sections in part B that is testing for model according to functions. I know this part is very important because via this part we can know whether our model work properly or not. For this part I test electronic connectivity inside our model. Well, until now there is no big problem occurs. I hope I can finish this part by this week because after this my group and I will prepare for presentation.
Future work
Later, I will draft the sections in part C which is repairing any problem occurs in our project. I will get ready for any problem encounter. In the end, I will totally make a change for my entire draft, checking for every component inside our model and other parts have become clear during it work later on. It has been a busy week with all those routines of assignment and lab reports. Additional to it is definitely our test…since these two weeks are scheduled for test week. And not forgetting another task for us would be our Technical Invention Product for our final presentation of UHL2322.
My group members and I has formed a group of five members; Peter, Ain, Zuraida, Zilla and myself. We have given our group name “Meteor Storm Corporation” our product invention is “The Amazing Cabinet”. This invention is a multipurpose usage of a cabinet as dishwasher and a place of storage for dishes and kitchen utensils in a sanitized condition.
As for my specific tasked, I am in charge of performing task one, that is to design the product. My task is then divided into three parts: brainstorming the features and functions of the product, to determine the product model size and invention, and to involved in fixing and overall review of the product invention.
I have completed the first part that is brain-storming for the features and functions of “The Amazing Cabinet”. The idea of this product invention came up to me when I was very interested with steam-powered technology. So, the mind-boggling inspiration has brought me to produce a model of a multipurpose cabinet which has a function of dishwasher and a place of storage too. To make it more interesting, the dishwasher is mobile and able to move from one compartment of cabinet to another as desired by the user. The features and functions of the product was determined through research from the internet and readings from the mechanical properties reference book.
My present work would be determining the size and dimension of the product model. Since the materials have been bought, I’ve been working on a medium model size of 20cm height, 50 cm long and 22cm width.
Next, I will determine on how to fixed the other equipments like the bulbs, LED, fan, battery to form a suitable electric circuit based on the design of the product model. Last but not least, I will review the overall features and functions to make sure that the criteria of this product meet the objectives. I will also review on the safety factors and precautions guideline of this product. This will be done to make sure the safety of our product for well being of our customers.
So far, so good… everything is in control. I hope everything will run smoothly as my group members and I have planned earlier on.

I have completed task 4 on surveying the cost of the material. I intend to make note based on the material needed and the cost of the material. I also collect some money from my group members so that I have enough money to purchase the material. I need to survey the cost in order to keep within the budget and reduce the cost of the product. I went to Carrefour and Popular Bookstore to get the material needed.
Present Work
I am currently working on purchasing certain material that I have not yet buy and also buy again some material that are still lacking of. I need to go to Kuantan again to buy the material.
Future Work
Next, I need to go to town to buy certain material because one of our group members has accidentally lost the material. I need to collect money from my group members for the transport fare.
Problem Encountered
Problem that I have encountered while doing my task is transportation problem. As we know that UMP is far from Kuantan, I need to rent car to go to town to purchase the material as I do not have transport by my own. I need to spend a lot on the transportation. Besides, I also need to encounter financial problem. As I am in-charging of purchasing material, I need to have good financial management. I must limit the expenses in order to keep within the budget so that I would not overspend. However, one of my group members has accidentally lost certain material. So, I need to buy the material again and of course, this will increase the expenses of the material.
In conclusion, I would say that our project is proceeding well. I hope that we are able to finish the project as scheduled in the Gantt Chart.

I'm currently working on keeping the materials and just get ready if we need another materials to complete the project and produce the best product from Meteor Storm Corporation.

My specific task is being a reseach and development agent in this project.In this project, I'm being responsible on testing the quality of the product.It divided into three parts which is testing the material before it process, the material during the progress of the project and after the project finish.

I have completed the first part which is testing the material before it being process to be a product. This product were conducted as soon as the member of the group bought the material that needed in this project.
Present Work
I currently working on testing the material during the process of sewing and making the invention. This process are interm on how the material long lasting when the process sewing are in progress.

According to the UHL2322 final project, I was given a responsibility to do a task which is testing the product. As an acknowledgment, our group product name was multipurpose study box. It is medium in size and it is easy for me to test it and I do not need extra time to do it. The test that I will do is in term of strength, and durability. The material that we have used to cover the box is by using tissue and PVA glue. These two things already showed their credibility in term of strength and cost. The reason why we use this material to cover the box is because of it is cheap in term of price and it is easy to get. So far the box is still in making process and my job will start right after its complete.

Problem encountered
The plan is hard to draw because I have no experience in doing this kind of works.
In conclusion, the project is running well and hopefully it can be completed on on time.
In order to write the progress report , we have a discussion among each other so that we have our own specified task to write in progress report. In the discussion , I am taking the post to buy all the material needed.
Actually , our group haven't devide the work for making the invention product. We have only devide our work to complete the proposal , progress report and Final report.
This product invention idea is mine. So , I am the one which design the product. Since I am the designer, I know what material needed and where can I buy it. c) Future Work
- I will make a plan of design of our product. I also will explain and give this task to my group member for his design and make a detailing.

In this task I have to cooperate with my group member who was in charge in design the product. I have already took the draft sketch from him and from that I can discover what the things that must be use in our project.
Present work
After get the sketch, now I am currently working on listing all the materials needed based on what I already discover before. For this task I need to cooperate with another group member who is in charge in surveying the cost. This is because I cannot simply listing the things that needed without considering the cost. Since we’re only work for the prototype, so we have to reduce the cost as low as we can.
Future work
Next, if any unexpected cases happen, for example we need to add some more function to our invention, then, I have to make a new list on the material that must be added.I will fully revise the entire draft, integrating further material where deficiencies have bocome evident during work on other section.

Project Description
This Duo-Function Bookcase is design especially for students, office workers, or lecturer. Our invention is a bookcase that has duo-function that can lighten the area and also has the ability to making sound like a siren police when we opened it. Here, we use battery as a source of electricity energy to replace the direct current.

As for my specific task, I'm in charge of in performing task 4 which is assemble and create the product. It is divided into three major part, the first is find the materials that we want to used for making our project, second is making the circuit for light and the sound, last is combine all the materials on the bookcase.

I have complete the first part which find the materials, I have a little problem when finding the materials, because don't know where the exactly the shop that sold this materials and the price that they offer very expensive so this make our baject not enough to buy it, then I had a slow talk with their manager to lowest the price. Then the price we get is reasonable.
Present Work
I am currently working on making the circuit for light and sound. For this task, I didn't have enough experience to connect the wire for lighten and sound, so to overcome this problem, I heve seen my freinds, ask them how to connect the wire to lighten the bulb by using a switch also for the making sound. I try to do it from easy one until the hard one, because i have limited time because I have lot of test and assignment thT I have to complte.
Future Work
Next, I will do the hole were speaker and switch located, Finally I will combine all the materials in one product to complete our task. I will aslo coloured the area outside and inside of the bookcase to make our dou-function bookcase more atttractive.
Conclusion
Thus far, the project is prceeding well, I have not to run into any major problems, nor do I anticipate any in the remaining work.

for my specific task, i have to do the assembling and making the product. our product is the multipurpose study box. its actually a box with partitions and compartment to store things such as books or keys or calculator and etc.
work status:
Work completed
i have done gathering the product's such as the tools needed like pliers, wires, tissues, glue and etc.
Present work
I currently working on putting the things gathered together. I've cut the box, lay down tissues on the box and put some glue on it to make the box just like the designed drawing.
Future work
For the future work, I'm going to Do the finishing touch up such as paint work and some electrical finishing.
there are some problem encountered while doing my task such as the insufficient materials such as tissues and glue.
in conclusion, i would say that our product is proceeding well. i hope that we able to finish our project according to the schedule.
I as a project manager so my job is divide job to them by judging they ability.For an example, like Ying Ying, who can draw and desiged well, so I ask her to become the designer for our product.Actually project manager is not that free as you think.Normally people thought manager is the person who only use their mouth but have to do nothing.In fact, manager have to plan a lot thing and he have to make sure the project can be finish in time also.

I have divide job to each one of us and their start doing their own work.Beside that, I had make a gan-chart.It is use to record the time that we proceed till which part and to make sure we can finish the product in time.

I have to always make sure they were doing their job well so our project can be proceed to the next step.

In the future, what I have to do is gather my group-mate and assemble those part from them and become a fine product.
In the end , I was really enjoy to become the manager in this project, hope in the future I still got chance to become manager again.
