Even though the statement "Beauty is painful" are agreed by the people, I disagree the practice of corset and foot binding. Apart from the fact that many ailments and even disabilities occurs, the practices itself is just a hassle to do. Therefore, i think it is not worth it

All people have a different outlook on the question, what is beautiful?by used of corset and foot binding beauty has resulted in a lot of pain and in this instance, resulted in broken ribs and damaged internal organs.Therefore, I disagree with the notion 'Beauty Is pain' because beauty is not in the eyes of the beholder, but in the mind of its owner.

I disagree with the statement 'Beauty is pain'. It's ok if people want to look beautiful but in the right way. Of course not in the wrong way such as using corset and foot binding that can cause pain in themself.Beauty is universal. Beauty doesn't mean that people must look beauty on their outside look but the most important thing is beauty in their heart,their bahaviour. :-)
I totally agree with the statement which is "BEAUTY IS PAIN".In my opinions,all the peoples love to be a beautiful person and might be admired by others,but we should know what the best way to get it without make us become pain.Someone who already face with many difficulties may suffer enough to recover and get better...^_^
For my opinion,I agree with the notion 'Beauty Is Pain' because nowadays we can see a lot of news about many people have painful cause use the product that not suitable with them.Recently I'd read the article about an artist at Hong Kong become more uglier than her natural face before just because use more cosmetic product in a time.This can give lesson to us..

"Beauty is Pain"???.For my opinion I aggree actuaaly for this statement .Nowadays we using corset and foot binding to become beuty..For me it is not good because it can make us difulties to do anything.Why we must make difficult for your own only to look beuty??.It is nit give you advantage but effect for certain our body which can damage.For me beuty is look in your heart which can make us happy always..huhu .

"Beuty Is Pain". That word always been heard but people still eager to be beatiful. They would do anything just to pleased themselves. Corset and foot binding is similar to plastic surgery right now. They would risk their health, spend money just to be "perfect". For some people,they will get statified after doing all this. However, it could be a disaster in long terms effects especially if it is permenant.

Hye everyone! If we see current scenario, the notion 'Beauty Is Pain' is not far from true. People wanted to be looked beautiful because sometimes the 'beauty' can buy anything. As example, if there are crowded in front of a counter, everyone waiting inpatiently to get their turn, the beauty and the charming one always got attention and being treated nicely and super fast. This is totally unfair but that's the fact. So, no wonder why are people so fanatic to get beautiful look no matter using the proper way or not. If we say that the beauty comes from kind heart, why don't we ask ourself how many many people nowadays not jugding others from their appearances?? That all my comment for now.. daaa~

From what I've read, I think that going through all this pain just to be beautiful is wrong and it is actually being cruel to ourself. At last, what did they get from the foot binding and corset? Why we always see that the baby is so cute? because they're innocent... They're birth with a pure heart. Why we always see our mom are so beautiful? This is because she'd fed us with her kindness from a pond heart.. All of this make us feel the complexion of beauty inside of people who become themselves without pretending who they are.. juz a mere person with a beautiful and gorgeous heart.. so, that's what the beauty is all about.. i can't be the voice for the mass. But this is what i feel about the meaning of beauty. Be yourself and you'll find the real beauty within you.

Eemmm….For this entry its about corset vs foot binding…I’m still confuse why people love to do silly things just because they want to look beautiful. I do agree if some people said beauty is very important in our life because people ecspecially guys love to see beautiful women. But why they dare to punish their body for that. For me beauty is not just at the physical look but the inside of you also must be beautiful. For an example your heart, your attitude and so on. By then you can call it beautiful. If you just have a beautiful face or body but inside of you is zero, so nothing to be proud of…One more thing to be a beautiful use the easy way like diet which means eat an healthy food and do some exercise. I think that would be more than enough to have a beautiful body…..have a try if don’t belive me….adiosss…..

Im really interested reading this article;which is about how women making effort in such ways just to beautify themselves.Actually,all human being are beautiful enough and as born as normal human,we must appreciate what we already have and should grateful to our god.
The notion 'Beauty is Pain' is seem to be acceptable for some situation.The tradition of using corset and foot binding does hurt our body.This kind of practice are just same as eating diet pills,get botox and plastic surgery.Somehow,beauty will make us become enemy,too-proud,and might be victim of jealous people.

2) Corset
A corset is a garment worn to mold and shape the torso into a desired shape for aesthetic or medical purposes (either for the duration of wearing it, or with a more lasting effect). Both men and women are known to wear corsets, though women are more common wearers.
3) Foot Binding
Foot binding was a custom practiced on young girls and women for approximately one thousand years in China, beginning in the 10th century and ending in the early 20th century.
What are the relationhip between beauty, corset and foot binding?
People are wearing corset and foot binding to look more prettier than asual.
For me it doesn’t matter if you want to use it or not.
As long as you feel comfortabe and can make you feel more confident, wearing corset and foot binding is good for you :)

In my opinion, I really agree the statement "Beauty is Pain", because in not good to out health especially on balancing body.Our natural body good enough beauty than we do the corset and the foot binding.I totally think that the person who are doing this kind such as a give our body a free pain.They are do this because I think they are being forced to their traditional generation.
