I totally disagree with the statement 'Beauty is pain
'.As u can see,many people today want beautiful, but the pain doesn't include in the proses of beauty.Other than that,beauty is universal, it mean beauty can can look such as many way, the fashion corset and foot binding is the old fashion that cause pain to themselves.Beauty can look in many way such as your habit,behavior and in good looking of morality,it doesn't mean in way your look...beauty is colorful.

first off all.... when i have read the article about corsets and foot binding, my opinion for the notion 'Beauty Is Pain' is, its too ridiculous when we have to get pain in order to get a beauty....
for me, i prefer to stay with our own natural beauty because if we have to face pain and also we can even faced with death just to get a beauty... i don't think that we must get the pain first before we get the best feeling in beauty... beauty is not a long life things that we can get... it is because, when we become older and older, our physical beauty is no longer exist...

I'm agreed with the statement "beauty is pain".. why?.. no matter what happen just proud to be yourself. we were born totally perfect. no more extra beauty. sometime with make up or what ever not maybe we can't show to the public that we are really beauty. But with good attitude that come from our soul maybe we look more beautiful from the other.
corset and foot binding?.. now both of them were not popular as we can see today?. why?. we will got pain but it not sure we will look beauty after this.

for me..beauty is not everything and it is not the thing that can be proud of because it is not permanent. so we don't have to worry much on it..
meaning that it is not worth to suffer just for the beauty.
true beauty for me is the most important. the true beauty is the inner beauty..beauty of the heart..
once you have the inner beauty..people will respect you..to get this beauty. no need to suffer..just clean your heart..say no to envious, no negative thinking, then the true beauty will come out..

Here,i want to share some opinion about our topic.For me,beauty is very important especially for women.But if the beauty give pain for our body its definitely wrong.We have a many ways to be beauty which is more safe and healthy. The most important is the the inner beauty will reflects the physical beauty. Such as we can do more exercise to get the healthy body and take more healthy food. Last week I've read two articles about corset and foot binding in the test 1.
From that articles, I disagree with the notion 'Beauty is Pain'. It is because do not need to pain to be a beautiful.
The natural beautiful is most worth. The beauty of behavior of someone is more beautiful than beauty of appearances of someone.
There are many effects that maybe happen to someone that will do anything for their beauty. Maybe it can be permanent disability or be more ugly than her real self.
To me, woman is very 'cerewet' about beaty caring. They will to do anything for get their dreams. They also will to pay thousands of money to get the 'plastic beatiful'. Although is so pain because need to operate, but thy don't minds.
As the conclusion, the pain for beaty is do not need and it also haram is Islam.

According to the article "corset vs foot binding" I totally disagree about "beauty is pain" slogan. This slogan is about people that use something that can cause their part of body suffer from a lot of pain just to look beautiful in front of everybody eyes. I disagree because this method make the person who wear it having more percentage to facing death and also suffer from a lot of pain. My advice is beautifulness is full of lies and does not long lasting. In order to look beautiful, must start from inside. Like our attitude and morality,that is more important..

It's true that now..some of women are willing to get pain just because to look beauty..
especially those who are live as carrier woman that believe appearance is really important...
But for me...I more satisfy with what I have..
yes it's true...sometimes I need to look beautiful and it's just because for my confident level for certain function.
But I still won't hurt myself and spend too much just because to look beauty.

Look, one of the things human looking for besides wealth and health. why does this so important for people, until bear to getting pains just for it. Having a beauty look is a wise that every one have. From our history shown that, people will do every things just for beauty, such as wearing corset by ancient Green, France and western, and foot binding by China. Those methods are cruel to our body and will bring bad effect towatd us.
Even people do every things just for beauty, but the concept of beauty is different from each other and uncertain time by time, from before until now. The beauty of ancient people think may not match with people nowadays, is you feel foot binding and corset is suitable for us and beauty?Since "beauty" is so uncertain and so hard to understand, why do we force outselve so hard just for it? Think about that carefully before put yourselve so much just chases for it.

nowadays,woman and man want to look great and comfortable.sometimes the beauty will give high confident level,wearing corset and foot binding are not the causes of pain if people know how to use or wear it.
Most of people aren't know how to wears,what is suppose to use,what are the materials used and so on.The wrong method of using these product will bring the bad effect in the future.Actually,people nowadays too rush for the result after take some beauty product,so avoid too rush and the beauty will come softly over you without having any health problem.Beauty is importance for having a good appearance especially for a women..natural beauty is enough but we just try to make it perfect..=)

"Beauty Is Pain". What kind of statement is that...But I agree with it. No one is perfect in this world, right? So, pain is the only way to look beautiful either by used corset or foot binding. Nowdays, we have surgeries right? But it also painful. So, are there any other way to look beautiful? Yes, it's a natural beauty.

However,they are many people still like to do these 'stupid things' to be beauty,eg. they eat medicine which has side effect to their body,they reduce their food to be thin...

But,if we can see people nowadays willing to do anything to make their self look beautiful. As a muslim also, we need to appreciate all creation that were made by our creator,Allah. Just satisfy with what our God gives to us.
Nowadays, there are a lot of surgery that they make to look beautiful such as plastic surgery. sometimes, all the beauty that were made by people is for temporary and it cannot be long lasting and essential.

The statement "Beauty is Pain" reminds me of a debate topic back during my secondary school days. Well, in my opinion, based on the reality of life in this ragging new era, beauty is indeed painful. Let's face the fact that women nowadays spend lots of time and money in a beauty saloon for facial treatment, hair straightening or hair rebonding, hair perming,etc and even goes to slimming centre just to get a supermodel look-alike body line and appearance. These beauty procedures are actually painful... because there is always a negative side effect on health.
Beauty portrays our physical and emotional personality. However, it is not necessary for us to go through all the pain to become beautiful. I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own unique ways. Beauty is a gift from God and we should be grateful for our own natural beauty. Why don't we make ourselves beautiful in a fun and healthy way, for example, go for a jog or play any forms of sports during leisure to keep fit rather than going through the slimming session.
From my personal point of view, beauty also has a clique with era. In ancient times, foot binding and wearing corsets are crucial for beauty. However, this may results in muscle pain and hazard to health. As time goes by, beauty trend keep affecting peoples lives in so many ways.Most men and women nowadays are beauty conscious as it is closely related with self confidence. When you feel good and look good, your self-esteem is boost up and you are ready to face your challenging day with full zeal!
In conclusion, being beautiful is good and gives us positive affirmations about our personality. What really reflects us is our inner being..in terms of characteristics, behaviour and the values we instilled in ourselves. As the saying goes, "beauty is skin deep"..

It will be a lie if I say beauty is not important for me. Beauty is the first impression in strangers' eyes. If we look good at the first place, people of course will pay attention to you, right? This will make you feel more confident. However, nowadays, people seem to misunderstand the term 'beauty'. Some people even go for surgeries just to make them look pretty. This is very dangerous because such surgeries are not good for health.
In my opinion, it is not necessary for us to endure pain just to look pretty. We can make ourselves pretty by leading a healthy lifestyle, such as jogging and balance diet.
We must bear in mind that no one is perfect in the world. No matter how with our appearance, we are still the gift from God. We must be thankful with what we have now and stop complaining. One of my favourite topic, corset and foot binding, and guess what? This two things are only wearing by women, and i not surprise about it because as we know that women and beauty is like 'nail and skin' (proverb in Malay version). So when we talk about beauty, there is something that I disagree about it which is why we need to torture our self just to look beautiful. I think the word beautiful should change to beautifool. Some women willing to do anything just to look beautiful. For them these two things which are corset and foot binding is representing the symbol of beauty. That is totally not true. In my opinion women look more beautiful when she take a good care of their attitude and dignity.
